I have a set of 4 dining room chairs that had the leather-like material peeling off and a leather ottoman with a broken wooden leg. They had a large variety of replacement fabrics/materials to choose from. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the prices. While Budget Upholstery is not necessarily budget-friendly per se, you get what you pay for. I've had a rocker and ottoman, then a slipper chair, re-upholstered, and they all 3 turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The owner, both times, spent substantial time talking & listening, sharing options and helping me figure out what it is I ultimately wanted. You will need to call to see if work is done & to schedule pickup, but they're super-accommodating on crazy work schedules and the like. I had my dining chairs reupholstered by this company. They were quick to come take a look at my chairs and help pick the material and color i ended up using. Their price was very fair since my chairs needed a lot of material to cover them. They were in good shape but I just wanted to change the color to be more neutral. They delivered even earlier than promised and they don't charge to pick up and deliver. My chairs came back clean and with no scratches on them. Sadly I wish they would be able to reupholster sofas with feathers so I'm on the hunt for someone who can. I recommended my mother as well and she was happy with her dining chairs as well. read more

Beautiful work and amazing service! David reupholstered a sofa and loveseat that had belonged to my grandmother and are at least 50 years old. We asked budget upholstery to re-upholster two chairs for us. One was a channel back and the other was a large wing chair. I went to their website to find possible fabrics and picked out several. I called to set up an appointment, and I was told those options was outdated. David, the son of the owner, came with fabric sample swatches. We found two we liked even better than the ones we'd found on their webpage, and paid 1/2 down so that he could order the fabrics. While getting our chairs back took a bit longer than expected, the result was worth the wait. I have posted photos on their Facebook page. The cushion on one of the chairs was not as deep or firm as we had requested, and David took care of that without charging additional. The only small downside to working with David is that he does not always communicate in a timely manner. I want to point out the quality of this shop's work. We have had the channel back chair re-upholstered several times and have had issues with other shops not matching the fabric. This shop did a superb job! read more

I was originally very pleased with budget upholstery despite there location out of the way from my house. The owner was very nice and I think the price was fair. Getting all 6 dining room chairs into my minivan was a bit of a puzzle but I managed and was very thankful I no longer had a sedan. My issue is that a few months later my chairs - that I had owned for 7 years prior with no issue minus the fabric was peeling - started to fall apart. My kids (who walk barefoot ) started finding small screws on the floor and finally the seats came out. Now at least 2/6 chairs are dangerous for my small kids to use and of course they like taking them apart now that the seats are no longer attached. Even at this point I would have given the store 4 stars. It's the fact that I reached out and requested that my chairs be fixed and haven't had a response that I'm giving 2 stars. read more

I have to say this is a great company. It is a great company because the owner "David", stands by his work, and will go to great lengths to repair anything that didn't come out right the first time. Additionally, the pricing was affordable. The organization makes it convenient for the consumer because they come and get your items if necessary. We had some challenges in how the work I had done was completed, and I did have to call them a few times. He quoted me a price which was reasonable and they were picked up on May 31st. They stated it would take 2 weeks for completion. I called on Friday, June 14th for an update and he stated due to work flow they would be ready on Monday, June 17th. I never received a call from them until I text ed them again on Tuesday, June 18th. They were delivered to me on Wednesday, June 19th. We first called about a couch that needed some repairs, the owner David asked for a text so that he able to quote us. He did the work and while he was here we asked is he was able to fix the stitching on a cowhide rug. He stated that he would be able to fix it. Called to have a quote on leather dinette chair repair. The owner was polite and helpful over the phone and quoted me $75.00. I agreed to bring the chair to his shop, where he would replace the one side that was damaged. He said it would take two weeks. So I gave him 2 1/2 weeks just so I didn't feel like I had rushed him. Needless to say, I was a week late picking the chair up. The owner had no problem storing the chair for me. The chair looked amazing! The owner had explained that the material was very thin and he replaced the leather on the whole chair. I know, I know, my mouth hit the floor. The material was a serious upgrade and had the exact same pattern in the leather. In my opinion he went above and beyond to take care of his customer. I failed to mention in the beginning that this chair was not mine. It was my customer's chair and she absolute loved it. I would like to give this man 2 more stars. It is truly wonderful to find an individual that is a true craftsman. read more
