Horrible customer interaction. Details: I needed a new radiator (small leak) shocks (ride was getting harsh) and a flex disc (driveline lash) for my 2001 ML320. I sent an email asking for an appointment. Was told they needed to run a diagnostic at $108 per hour before they could schedule the work. I said fair enough, but could they have the parts on hand and schedule the work so I could get this done in one trip (I live considerable distance away). No deal. I offered to pay for the diagnostic and pay for the parts in advance. No deal. Cost was two trips and a diagnostic I did not really need or want, plus whatever they wanted to charge for the actual work. I will do the work myself for not much longer than I would spend on two drop-off/pick up trips. The work is not difficult - a non-Mercedes mechanic could easily do it. It is certainly not worth paying $108 per hour for their arrogant attitude and lack of customer focus. read more

These guys are the WORST. Buyer beware. I purchased mats, interior replacement pieces and more for my Mercedes 560SL. They are NOT original parts. The mats fit but, they definitely were cheap aftermarket mats. The leather, however, looks nothing at all like the original. When I called to let them know, they told me it was all final sale?! It never said that while checking out, or anywhere on the receipt. Fortunately, I took it up with Amex. If you're looking for parts to maintain your old Mercedes, steer clear. Their customer service and follow up was atrocious. It took a number of phone calls and emails before they even got back to me. read more

There ain't no Bud anymore! David who runs the place, sold me a beautiful 230 SL. Gave me an inspection report - as soon as the deal was done, that maintenance list grew and grew! But it gets worse....they installed a fan with two spacers - that is one too many. When the fan kept hitting the radiator, caused all sorts of damage to the radiator and cooling system and they won't own up to their error. Now I had to pay him and pay a real mechanic to fix their work. He said he would prefer to go to court than stand behind their work...sleazy operation. Run as far as possible....it's not the Bud's reputation you heard about! read more

They seem knowledgeable but they overcharge. REALLY OVERCHARGE!!! I have a Mercedes S550, I had them do a Service B (oil change, sparks, etc.) I was quoted $700, when they finished I was billed $1000! I had gave them one my try. I needed a Service A (oil change and some minor ointment treatment) they quoted me $500. Then I asked about brakes... "$570 front, $500 rear." Uhmmm No thanks! I went to the dealership (Alpharetta) and they quoted me $170 for Service A, but offered the service for $99 since it was my first time there. To have all of my brakes done, at the dealership, will cost less than Bud's were attempting to charge me for just the rear. Don't go here, unless you feel like giving your money away. Oh one good thing about Bud's, they washed my car really good. I guess that's the $300 difference in the first quote that I received. read more

I have been a customer at Bud's Benz since 1996, approximately 18 years. The reason that I have been going to them for so many years is because the service is excellent. Recently, we had a new radiator, steering column and new soft top put on our baby. Our 1973 450SL Mercedes has been in our family since 1980. It was the first Mercedes that we purchased and Bud's continues to keep it running like new. Great people work at Bud's Benz and they make you feel great and welcomed each time you visit them.
