The cashier Angel always has an attitude like you are bothering her by walking in. The food especially the fries tend to be cold too.

How lovely:) This is a cool spot and it looks clean but stylish! Simple but yet great menu and awesome add-ons to complement every choice. My favorite was the loaded baked potato. She was very attentive, without being overly annoying(if that makes sense). Now let's get into the food. Hamburger was well seasoned as well as the fries. I ordered the who dat burger. Which is a dressed burger with onion ring, bacon and bbq added. To say I had a lot going on, on that burger my bun wasn't soggy at all. That bun held up perfectly. The patty was real beef meat. Not burnt, not tough, just a juicy seasoned piece of beef. Aslso didn't have to anything to the fries. The came with just the right amount of salt. It's hard to really find a good burger place without breaking the bank. This place was very good. From the staff to the food. Everything was wonderful. Will definitely be back to try other menu items.

The place is cute and cozy, and our waiter was top notch. We were in a bit of a time crunch, and he totally had our back. The food was out so fast. My mom got the Jr. Pati and she said the burger was as good as she remembered. The Jr looks big enough on its own, she could barely finish. I basically ate all of her fries, and they were good and salty. I ordered the fried eggplant. It was pretty good, could have used a bit of salt, but otherwise it and the marinara were good. I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he was so great. Will stop by there again next time I'm in the area.

Had the applewood bacon burger and a tea. I sat at the bar and was addressed quickly and food was out quickly. This place is really nice and has a huge outdoor seating area with a stage. Seems to be really cool to have some drinks and listen to a band. The inside was nice and clean and getting busy since it was lunch time. Burger came out quick and I wanted to love it so bad but was a little disappointed. Cheese was cold and not melted, burger had a good burger taste but was missing some seasoning. Fries were cold and needed some salt. Burger was indeed filling. If I'm in the area again I will go back and try something else. Total bill was 21.62 after the credit card surcharge.

Classic New Orleans sit down burger chain…read more I used to come here in the 80s and 90s religiously. There were several chains around the city. As a child I would get very excited about the pewter mugs and plates. To my surprise they still had the pewter plates. I have always gotten the burger and it is still great. It is made to order and pretty thick. You get a choice of side and your meals comes with their signature pickle spear. I believe this location is the last one in New Orleans.

The building on the outside is pretty cozy and easy on the eyes. The inside looks like a typical American style restaurant but they have a bar area and poker machines for anyone above the age of 21. The men's bathroom does not have a changing table for babies. They offer plenty of table space and even have two tables for when and if you have more than four people in your party. There are no booths but they include round and square tables and you can usually sit where you want and some views are window views. The staff was very friendly and were willing to be helpful with recommendations. They provide menus but they are cleaned in between individuals. I tried their Cajun Chicken sandwich and was pretty impressed with the quality of the food. The restaurant had good quality chicken and they ask how you want it dressed. You are provided an option for your side or sides. You can also add on cheese if you desire. The waitress walked me through my order and I enjoyed it more with that desire to help me. The food was nice and hot when received. It tasted good and there was no crisp issues with the lettuce or fries. I would recommend it. It was a good experience and the food was amazing. All the employees wore masks and they stayed just far enough away from you to make you comfortable. We were seated immediately and it didn't take long for drinks or food to come out. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room away from other dinners and we were there during dinner hours. I am recommending it but it is in an awkward spot to drive to. The burrata comes out: dreadful, awful, call the Vatican levels of bad. The pesto was the culprit, I know store bought vs house made pesto and this store bought stuff needs to be banished from the establishment. Tasted soapy and overpowered any flavor from the burrata. Then the entrees: the Italian flatbread was pretty good, after I panicked making sure pesto wasn't on it (it wasn't) I really enjoyed the charcuterie characters of this. Then my date tried her chicken parm and said "you have to try this". I take a bite expecting horror; I'm proven wildly wrong. That chicken Parmesan is the greatest in the city limits. I may not hear from the date again, but Sophie's heard from me again. I got their chicken parm once again less than a week later and they proved that lightning can strike twice. So let's unpack Sophie's. And Italian/seafood joint - their specialty? THEY KNOW HOW TO FRY. Their red gravy is pretty solid too. I think they should sway one way or the other, focus on what they are experts at, and make a massive name for themselves perfecting these dishes they are already great at. And please, throw out the pesto. Sophie's SQUEAKS by into 4 star with a 7.95/10. TAKE WHAT YALL ARE GOOD AT AND IMPROVE. I've been back already, I'll be back again. Cheers!
