Long story short: They tried putting us on the wrong size boat when we arrived, because they didn't have the one we rented. Our group of 12 was not allowed to be on a boat with max 10 person limit. (Can be a hefty fine by the coast guard) But since our boat was taken out of the water because it was basically falling apart the day before, they tried this. After about and hour and half of waiting for them to finally get us our boat (by taking it from another customer and trading them !?!?!) We later began to SINK !!!! (See Pictures!) Later ran out of gas because the boat had to work to hard to pull us with the TONS of water in the left toon. (It drained for 31 straight minutes!!) After many many many polite and respectful text messages back and forth with the owner and scheduler, they opted to not refund our day. They said it was in the contract to possibly give a rain check, but they don't give refunds!?!?!?! A few employees were shocked by our day. Is like to thank them for being helpful. As for John, and Mike (if he even exist?!?), it was textbook for how to run a crappy business! The business model is a joke, and customer service is even worse!!! After a debacle like this, how does a decent company not give a refund??? I highly encourage you to use 'Spend-A-Day' Marina. A much nicer, cleaner, well run and respected business. I truly don't see how this company will stay in business for long. The fleet is made up of old crappy beat up boats with piss poor motors and next to no horse power!! If you want to talk your kids tubing - you can't do it here!!!! If you want to race a turtle in the lake and maybe end in a tie.... This place will work. You can also rent boats and kayaks. Inside the building is a small store with boating essentials and a food area. They serve pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream to to. There is some seating inside and a large patio outside the building with lake views. On the weekend we went they had a band. There are also lots of bathrooms. There is a nice walk out by the boats and a small beach area.
