Mistakes happen and life is life. Small mishap at the fueling dock by the employee. They could've been jerks about it- they could've- but they didn't. They weren't. We had a good experience with Spend-A-Day. Booking was simple and when we showed up we had the option to take the boat operator test there or bring in our license. It did take some time fill out paperwork both when we picked up the boat and then we returned it, but thankfully we were the only ones there at that time so we didn't have to wait for other customers too. The pontoon boat itself was very nice, it had a Bluetooth radio connection and plenty of room. We did have difficulty anchoring as only one anchor was provided, so we were unable to stop in any of the swimming areas because the one anchor was not enough to hold the boat. We took the option to rent a tube as well which was an additional $30, but well worth it. Overall we had a good experience and would definitely rent from this marina again. read more

Go some where else, super nice people but seem to mess everything up once they touch it. first we wore told it was lake ready, went out and the motor wouldnt even go into forward or reverse. the light was broke, the storage on the back of the seat is broke screws falling out and seat falling off, the fabric around the cup holder was apart, since it was just bought not even 6 months ago and its brand new and has warranty they said they would fix it, which they did but when they wore doing it they ended up putting wholes in the seat and trying to say it was pre existing and are not going to fix it. they said there was a screw side ways so warranty wouldn't fix the other part. we have only had this boat on the lake 8 times since we didn't get it till late due to covid. it has ALWAYS had a cover on it. nothing but problems, should of new when they didnt hook the motor up right that they wouldnt be able to fix a seat without messing something up read more

Since this first review, we've traded the original jet ski for a new Yamaha AR 192 jet boat back in 2015 and purchased another new Waverunner because sometimes you have to play out there on the water . My boyfriend is now my husband and may be having an expensive midlife crisis. Stay tuned... he's talking about trading the old boat and the jetski in for an even bigger boat now that we have a kid and more friends. Bless Jim for putting up with us and our indecisiveness. I am disappointed in Spend A Day's service for boat storage. After spending over $700 for storage my boat had rodent damage while in storage They then charged me an extra $400 to repair the damage done to the boat while in their care. I think I have been had! read more

Best boat rental prices in Ohio. You can rent a 150hp pontoon boat that is almost new for a week vs renting an old beat up boat for a day at Charles Mill or Pleasant Hill marinas for the same price, that made it an easy decision to go with Spend A Day. I still can't believe how new and great all the boats were. Skis were $50 extra for the week, not bad. They've definitely earned my money and I'll be back. read more

took advantage of end of season pricing and bought our first new pontoon, a Bennington 21ft twin toon, bf90 Honda motor, very good sales person Chuck, we have had it over a month now and all is very well, boat performs superior to expectations, taking advantage of free first winter storage and wrap, they wired in my perko switch and second battery, honda warranty won us over as well, hope to never use it though, quiet, shifts flawlessly unlike others at my lake in st. marys,, the fit and finish on the Bennington is excellent, the bimini cover is taught when spread out in use, other new boats in area are wrinkly, loose and flap a bit in the wind and forward movement, and they have that grind when changing gears, none of that with my Honda,,keep my boat on a covered lift daily, lot of green in my lake, but sharkskin tube coating seems to help protect the tubes, love the bimini locking system, no pins finally, just click in position and enjoy, if i had to pick i would say the bi material on the seating is a bit of a pain to clean and protect, but i had similar on my previous pontoon so i had a plan lol controls and console are nice, fit and finish are superior, performance is excellent and all on regular gas as recommended by Honda, will keep genuine Honda parts and fluids in use, and finally like that they have a full time facility, and not just open part of the week read more
