Registered shops must: * Include their registration number in any' advertisements, announcements " NOTICEABLY: "Fixn Roll Mobile Services" does not display a Registration Number as Required by Law, because they're Not Authorized to Repair Automobile. --------------------------- The mechanical condition of our Porsche Cayenne was significantly damaged by Kenny. The "Check Engine" light was on when we called him, and he brought his diagnostic computer with him to see what codes were causing the issue. He said the Cayenne needed a tune-up, and a new airflow device, which he ordered and installed. 10 minutes after we had already paid him over $1000.00, the "Check-Engine" light was back on, and the Porsche was rattling and running on only 4 cylinders (It's a 6 cylinder engine). Kenny came back and apologized, and said that he had installed the spark plugs incorrectly. After he re-installed the spark plugs, I asked him to take it for a drive and see if the issue was resolved. He test-drove it, and said it was now running fine, and that the "Check-Engine" light was off. The next morning when we started the Cayenne, the "Check Engine" light was back on, and the engine shaking and vibrating was dramatically worse. And it was now shutting off whenever we stopped at a stop sign or a stop light. Kenny came back a 3rd time, and plugged in his diagnostic device, and said that there were new codes, and that he needed to go home and study what the codes meant. He was scheduled to come back the next day, and didn't show up or call. I text him to see if he was okay, and he apologized for mixing up his schedule, and said he'd come by the following day. Instead of showing up the next day, he sent a text that said "Give me a call". I replied by asking him for a refund of the $1,100.00 so that I could get the Porsche repaired correctly. He refused, and we've already started litigation to recover the funds, and for damages. A qualified mechanic has already shown and informed us of the things that were done incorrectly. When Kenny realized that he didn't know how to diagnose or repair the Cayenne, he could have simply told us that it was beyond his skill set. Instead he chose to run off with our money after damaging our engine. It simply won't be tolerated.

My car is a 2017 and has a lot of miles on it, so things have been needing replaced as of late, which is to be expected on older models with a lot of mileage. The team at this auto shop have done, and continue to do amazing work on my car. Parts and labor are not cheap, regardless of where you go, not to mention car parts are all made with plastic nowadays. Still, the quality of parts and labor I receive here are excellent. I'm also impressed with their concern for my safety in being 100% certain the vehicle is completely safe and in perfect working order, testing and retesting, before I get in my car and drive off. While you'd expect that this is a given, you'd be surprised at some of the experiences I've had with 'other' mechanics! These gentlemen are honest and excel at auto repairs, having never failed to help me when the chips are seemingly down. I never, ever feel in any way over charged or taken advantage of, which has definitely happened to me at other auto shops. They have kindly saved me a lot of money and future aggrevation in repairs. A red light went on by the speedometer and I thought it was indicating "service engine soon". It turns out that the red signal indicated that the tire pressure was low and had nothing to do with servicing engine soon. I came in and explained to the son who was by the front desk that I wanted to have a diagnostic because my service engine soon light was on (or so I mistakenly thought). These guys must have sized me up for a sucker or a pushover because instead of telling me it was not a service engine soon sign, he said nothing and went ahead with the diagnostic. After he finishes, he says, "that sign you saw just mean the tire pressure was low. It's not a service engine soon indicator. So for the diagnostic, that'll be $100." I can't believe these people are so dishonest and hard up for money that they would diagnose a car that doesn't need diagnosing and then charge me a $100. I get upset just thinking about it. Also, you should know that this is not a large mechanic shop like you see at most places with several bays. It fits one car and it appears to just be there garage or something. They probably live there for all I know. I also have know idea if they did a diagnostic or not because they didn't provide any information about what the diagnostic showed. In other words, they saw a sucker who didn't know anything about cars and decided to take his hard earned money.
