I am just so very thankful I finally found Cuenot Automotive in Loxahatchee, as my truck's air…read moreconditioning condenser failed, and Brian and his team replaced it without issues. Brian is a kind, skilled, friendly, professional and the real deal of the mechanics world. Similarly, I told him about my truck having a vibration issue that has been unfounded by the local Toyota dealership's technicians and another local acreage mechanic. The dealership rebalanced my tires, replaced my tires, checked my wheel rims, and undercarriage with nothing founded. The Toyota dealership's representative eventually made a statement similar to, " your truck is getting older and this is most likely a new normal. " This was difficult to accept, and for ten months and eight service and repair appointments nothing changed. I don't even think that the dealership technicians or local mechanic even drove my truck to determine what I was experiencing while driving. I actually began to dislike even driving my truck at all. Lastly, thank God for the Cuenot Automotive Team, as Brian found a critical issue with my drivetrain and differential. Furthermore, he described the vibration issues I was having while driving, and did not even need to drive my truck to do so. Brian's thoroughness, dedication and hard work found and corrected the issues perfectly. My truck now rides like it was new again. Thanks Cuenot Automotive for doing what many Toyota technicians and another local mechanic that definitely did not live up to his reputation in my experience with him. If you are looking for a real deal mechanic, Cuenot Automotive is your place. Lastly, I forgot to mention, they even washed, dried, vacuumed and cleaned my truck inside and out, just prior to my picking it up. All I could say was, WOW! Who does that today? Only a pro who is committed to excellence and fantastic customer service.

The experience with DCP / Mobile Mechanic was less than stellar. I used the Request A Quote option…read moreand received a reply days later from a guy that goes by the name Leroy. I noticed that he happens to respond to a few customer reviews periodically, mainly in a defensive and insulting manner to divert attention away potential customer or actual customer feedback. Leroy sent me a reply stating the following: "My minimum service fee to come out is $100. If it is a minor issue, it would be covered. If it is something more, then the $100 service fee would go towards the labor." I had no issues with this. In reply, I simply asked to be quoted for an actuator replacement in my AC and a quote for repairing a Freon leak that has already been dyed to make it easier to find the leak. I gather that this request did not make Leroy happy and rather than be provided a quote, I was told to go to Honda. Having already diagnosed the problem myself, in order to save time and compare pricing, I wanted to get a quote for the service to assess the reasonableness of the charge. In my mind, like any other conscious customer, I feel that is reasonable. From there, I'm assuming Leroy wasn't pleased because having them come out to inspect the car would allow him to lock in the $100 and poke around longer in the car to try and "discover" if there are other issues. Understanding that the $100 fee is reasonable and had no issues with the charge, my goal was to get a reasonable quote for the service. From that point on in the conversation, Leroy, representing DCP/Mobile Mechanics decided to engage in insults. The insults were about how old my car was and that it was junkie. That I was "broke" and apparently wasted my time when I was younger and "I'm too old to be driving junk cars" (I drive a 2013 Honda Accord that runs very well and taken great care of the care over the years with minimum problems). The insults continued throughout the conversation (not sure why) and was told to "stop wasting peoples time and confusing people." I assumed Requesting a Quote for service and providing a description of the problem was what Yelp intended to occur by creating the option, but apparently this isn't the case with some mechanics. Maybe pricing transparency isn't in Leroy's best interest to offer me a reasonable quote to complete the service request. I'm not sure. But, as I mentioned to Leroy, refusing service wasn't the problem in this situation, even refusing to offer a quote as requested. The issue was Leroy, acting on behalf of DCP/Mobile Mechanic decided it was in his best interest and in the business' best interest to insult and discourage a potential customer that is just trying to get price estimates to help make a decision regarding the maintenance of his vehicle. Simply put: Leroy and his business were attempting to disrupt the customers ability to make an informed decision. He could have simply just stated "Unable to service your vehicle" if he wasn't interested when the request for a quote was made. I'm sure Leroy will have a reply to this review and make a defensive response that tries to deflect and may even attempt to throw additional insults, but a few snippets of the conversation are attached as evidence. (PS: As you can see in his reply to my message, he continues to insult and act defensive. SMH)

We were recommended to replace the sway bar, sway bar links, and the outer-tie rods on both sides of the vehicle. Mind you, sway bars are heavy large metal rods that connect both sides of the suspension/linkage to the vehicle and is all metal; very hard to bend it or damage it. I was skeptical to say the least. We called several times to confirm the SWAY BAR needed to be replaced; yes was the answer. I will test someone's integrity and truthfulness due to the society we live in today. I painted my old sway bar in certain places to test that integrity. Upon picking up the vehicle and inspecting, the sway bar WAS NOT replaced. I confronted the service rep and asked if the sway bar or sway bar links were replaced and he stated the sway bar. A mechanic who worked on the vehicle came over and showed me the sway bar links were replaced, and stated the sway bar was not replaced. I confronted the service rep specifically and then he changed his story and said the sway bar links. I was charged for almost 3 hours of service with 2 new tires and balancing, so I'm not mad about the time charge considering removing/mounting new tires and balancing takes some time. I am mad about the sway bar stating it was replaced. It literally takes 15 minutes to change both sway bar links, if even that. I'm disappointed in the rep that he was not knowledgeable in sway bar/sway bar links and not knowing the work being replaced or just dishonesty and not wanting to admit it. Sway bar links, outer tie-rods, tires, and balancing were all good though, so well-done by the mechanic. Disappointed with the service rep.
