Llana was an exceptional coordinator - she was very communicative and beyond helpful! The facility was great for a high school prom!

The bridal room was perfect and had beautiful furniture that my photographer was able to use when photographing my dress.

It was my first time here attending a partner luncheon and I think the space provides adequate seating. They also have a projector screen for PowerPoints and videos. In the back of the same area separated by glass is an area where they can serve food to you. There are clean restrooms for guests. Parking is a little interesting, but that's just downtown for you. They have an underground parking area and have staff to guide you where to park. I had beef, salad, and some green beans 7/10 cause the salad was looking a little rough.

Thank you to Ashley and everyone at Simonian Farms for helping to make our 40th high school reunion…read moreevent so successful! Everything from the venue's beautiful grounds, dining/bar setup, options of amenities, its proximity to lodging, and food/catering choices were top-notch and many people who attended were extremely complimentary. So much so, that I am going to include some of the comments from our attendees in this review. Here's what our attendees had to say: "Beautiful yet comfortable casual atmosphere", "Casual yet felt very upscale...wonderful hometown hospitality", "hidden gem", "amazing atmosphere for reunions, family gatherings, and other events", and "perfect venue for our reunion...indoor/outdoor aspect works well...there was more room to accommodate a larger group, if necessary". Ashley was extremely flexible with our plans when changes came up, and she always made sure that we had everything we needed (right down to the last minute patio heaters for the surprise cooler weather!) It goes without saying that we would not hesitate to hold another high school reunion at Simonian Farms in the future! Sanger High Class of 1985 Reunion Committee

Our previous destination in Boracay that was canceled due to Covid, was going to be hard to beat but the thought of having more of our friends and family present was going to be great. Needless to say we met Lara, fell in love with the venue and she made everything easy. The guidelines were flexible enough that we would be able to customize our event to our expectations. We chose a mid may date as weather was just right and rains should be done. Now to share a few of our experience. Our guest ct was at 250 and our only option for a reception was outdoors, which was fine due to weather, we used the indoor venue for cocktail hour, our bar setup, photo booth and dancing. Weather is tricky and judging by the shift in weather June dates might be a safer bet moving forward, just have to watch that heat. We were able to use the venue the day prior to host a small welcome reception for our wedding party and access to deliver items was clutch. We utilized both outdoor spaces as the kids entertainment/arts and crafts and the other side as an overflow during reception. We use the top of the stairs to feature our violinist during cocktail hour. Restrooms we thought might not be enough for our guest count so we ordered luxury portable restrooms but found out later that not may guests used it. Overall I would highly recommend The Margaux and Lara to anyone who wants to host an unforgettable event with one of the coolest entrepreneur. Shout out to our various vendor partners who made it all happen. We had so much fun, it was nice, clean, and had very friendly staff. Met the owner and her son and they were welcoming, and talked about up coming events along with her wine that we got to try. The wine was really good and each one we tried paired really well with the pieces of chocolate we got. I would recommend attending this event again, and if there's events coming up just GO TRY THEM. We sat outside and ordered some food to enjoy the sun and just enjoy being outside. I will definitely be coming back here.

We had friends playing the live music so sat on the patio and ordered a bottle of their sparkling rose. It was a little on the sour side (not dry but actually a little sour), but not bad. My friends ordered the Primitivo and said it was more on the sweet side. Tasting here is only $10 if you prefer to taste several of their wines. The weather was beautiful, and we had a pleasant time on the patio. Sean was our host, and he was very attentive along with his wife who checked on us several times. Definitely a must try in the Fresno area if you have never been.

The ceremony itself…read morewas held in a small clearing in Heartwood forest and then you walk down a short distance where the cocktail hour/dinner area is set up. Even though it is extremely hot in Oakhurst, the venue, being in a wooded forest, is a very comfortable temperature, not too hot and you don't need a jacket at all, even at night. It is a bit of a pain to get to though - you have to drive up a winding mountain for about 20 minutes coming from Oakhurst so if you are planning on drinking at the event, make sure you either have a DD because coming back down that same road at night with no street lights and while under the influence can be dangerous. The venue itself was a bit confusing for us to navigate. We had to ask people passing by for directions on where to go but we eventually got to where we needed. It is also quite dusty so be prepared to have your shoes and the bottom of your outfits covered with dirt. And being up in the middle of a mountain, be prepared for no/poor reception.
