I visited here twice so far and was able to enjoy the wonderful patio they have overlooking Lake Buffalo. The bookstore has a fun collection to look over with personal recommendations. They are even dog friendly (leashed)! The coffee selection is vast, creative, tasty and reasonable priced. It's a great place to stop in for a quick visit, chat and catch up, or even work. The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The outside patio has two levels, I stayed on first level since it was super sunny that day. I look forward to stopping in when I can! read more

A favorite small town coffee shop with an incredible bookstore. Limited indoor seating but the rooftop patio overlooking the lake is amazing! Location. 5 stars for a coffee shop location that's nestled in the eclectic and quaint town of Buffalo Ambiance 5 - this coffee shop has great rooftop views of the lake. Can anything be more Minnesotan? Why yes it can. It also has the coolest small town vibe. It houses a bookstore jam packed with awesome finds and great reads. This is what makes MN cool. I got an Iced Americano and there was so little ice in it that it was still warm by the time it all melted. Once I put ice in it it was good though. read more

I love this place! When I went there, they were working on replacing their sign so I had to look at the address. They serve delicious and cheap/affordable coffee. They have a great service. The barista was quite funny and seemed to know a lot of the patrons. The lower level was great. It was like a nice reading nook and lots of children's books. If you want to order your coffee and drink it in silence, I suggest downstairs. I would return and definitely recommend it. read more

Stumbled upon this little gem when visiting a family member while they were at the Buffalo Hospital. We were in the mood for a good iced tea and Buffalo Books & Coffee didn't disappoint. Not only do they have great beverages and books they also have baked goods that are made in house that are to die for. I live about 16 miles away but will make a point to plan a trip to Buffalo so we can stop in and visit again. read more

Wonderful cozy bookstore with a deep collection of books and gifts for both kids and adults. Thoughtfully curated! And the coffee was hot, delicious and came with friendly service. They have plenty of seating including big comfy chairs by a fireplace. WiFi helped me get some work done too. I highly recommend checking out this little spot in Buffalo and getting a monster cookie to make it even more terrific! read more

They never have the books I'm looking for. Please be on top of the newest childrens books annd get the store stocked. I enjoy going there but rarely purchase any books. I also need to order it or end up going elsewhere. read more

This is the most welcoming & delightful bookstore! My family owns a cabin up in Annandale, and after a couple of days I had run out of books so I searched for a local store. I didn't even know about this spot but now I will absolutely be stopping in every time I'm up at the cabin! Their staff is so friendly and helpful, and the selection is fantastic. They have a cute coffee area in back that looks out onto the lake that I'll definitely be trying next time (we had our dog with us, and she was welcome in the bookstore but not the food area understandably). A quiet place in a very quiet, unfortunately, downtown Buffalo. Book browsing, comfy seats and a coffee bar in the back with a lake view deck. Friendly people working there and the brew was good, not great. The scone I had was made outside and I'm not sure when but it was dry and crumbling in my hands after unwrapping the tight cellophane. read more

What a fantastic place downtown! The shelves are over flowing with books! So many to pick from! So appealing! Coffee is great and even though the hours posted is a 7am open I was able to get a pumpkin latte at 6:35am! Made my day! And lovely staff and enjoys there job is always a bonus!
