The man who owns this is SO nice and works so hard. We get our cars inspected here every year. Fast, convenient, clean, friendly, and the $20 fee is lower than many places. Just pull right under the covered drive through and he'll have you in and out in less than 10 minutes, with a free bottle of water if you want. We live nearby, and in talking to neighbors, have found most of them come here every year too...he's quite popular! read more

Stay away! Do not get "Buffaloed" by the Manager at Buffalo Emissions I have three vehicles in which I need to get emissions checked in the next week. I know of two shops of Chamblee Dunwoody who charge $11.99 per emission check. I have been to both of these shops in the past. Buffalo Emissions is closer to my location by about five miles, and I have also been there before. On July 9, 2018, I called and spoke to the Manager and asked if he would match the price. He said he could not match that price, although we agreed to a charge of $15 per car. To my surprise on a Monday afternoon arrival, there were three cars in front of me. When I get to the front of the line, I tell the Manager that I had spoken to him on the phone and confirmed the $15 price. A this point, he starts make snide remarks on the cost of my car and how much money I must have. He then says, "Let's see, I will charge you $20 for this car and the next car, and $15 for your third car." I told him that is not what we agreed and had I known he was not going to honor his commitment, I would not have waited for over 20 minutes. I ended up driving the additional five miles to Chamblee Dunwoody Road and the shop charged me $11.99. Buyer beware of this shop. They do not honor their agreements. read more

After a long day and one hour plus commute, the last thing I wanted to do was get my emissions. I was also very sick. Fast and friendly service. He brought a chair out for me and a bottled water. Sign says $20, and it's actually $20. He even told me that my battery started a little slow so I may want to have it looked it. Michael is very cordial and professional. Gets you in and out in no more than 10 minutes; in our case, we were gone in 5. Offered my wife and I two bottles of water free of charge. $20 flat fee, which is cheaper than most places in the area. The bench that he installed is a nice touch, but I doubt you will have to get out of your car because he is so fast at what he does.
