10 minute excellent service. I can first thing Monday morning, and the business was open on-time and ready for service. Soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a young gentleman, who immediately checked and completed my emissions. This Emissions location is also located less than 1-mile from a Kroger that has a 9am-1am License Renewal Kiosk inside of the grocery store. The posted hours for this location show that it opens at 9 am on Saturdays. I was going to take my car somewhere else at 8 and then remembered this existed so I waited since it was closer. I showed up at 9:45 on Saturday morning and it was closed and no attendant there. I went into the gas station & the cashier told me it should be open but they didn't know why no one was there. read more

Mission is located in the Texaco parking lot next to Wendy's and across from the Kroger plaza. I came to get my emissions checked for the year. This is the cheapest place near here for $15. I paid in cash but they also accept credit. As soon as I pulled in the tech came out and directed me inside the garage. I was able to sit in my car the whole time. Although there are a couple chairs inside to wait at. It took maybe 5-7 minutes max to complete my test. Quick service and low price so if you need emissions checked or a quick diagnostic I'd check them out. read more

Came for an emissions checkup on a road trip and, aside from great service and a really clean garage space, I got more than was bargained for. In a very fine way. That is, David and the guys as Mission Emission are doing some really good work and it costs "us" (I'm addressing the collective public here) nothing more than the cost of a regular emissions check-up to become a part. They're helping people learn on-the-job training, to become financially independent, and applying any profits to help finance good-will mission work around the world. Check them out! read more

Mission Emissions is located at the Texaco right off the Chamblee Tucker exit. After pulling up to the entrance, I was immediately greeted by the owner, who bought this space a few months ago. He offered a complimentary beverage out the mini fridge and even let me sit inside his booth where there was a space heater, since we were experiencing that freezing winter weather. Service is great and super quick. I was in and out in New York minute. The owner, who is also a pastor, noted that a percentage of the revenue goes to charity. Also, he wanted to buy the place to provide some part-time job opportunities to those in need. Typically, I don't have expectations on service level when I'm getting a smog check. The employee is typically just some guy who looks like this is the last place in the world he wants to be and is just "doing his job" at the bare minimum. So to say the least, this one blew me away. The emissions test went well - done quickly, even after a 10 minute wait behind two other cars. But I do have an issue with this station, or maybe just the technician. At the end of the test, the technician verbally confirmed the charge was $14.99 for my vehicle (1996 or newer, as posted/advertised), and I gave him my debit card to swipe with the Square. However when I got home, the email receipt for the charge was $16.00 -- $1.01 more than what he said -- and the Square email receipt read "Custom Charge", which meant the technician MANUALLY put that amount in, even after verbally confirming the charge would be $14.99. Whether the $1.01 was a "service charge" for the use of Square (which I have NEVER had happen before at ANY location that uses Square), or if it was an underhanded way for him to get a gratuity (which is not required in this circumstance), it is still not right. I have left this same review via the Square feedback box, and am posting it here on Yelp to let the everyone know to beware of this behavior at this location. Either pay cash here, or stand over the technician and watch as the charge is input. It may be only $1.01, but it's not right, and every little bit of $$ adds up. (It's like hidden charges on a bill you get in the mail.) read more

Had my emissions check done here a few days ago. The place is easy to find with the signs on the road, and the check itself was only a few minutes. I had to replace the fuel cap so made a trip across the road to advance auto parts, came back and received the passing report in minutes when I had the new cap. Would be happy to use this company again. read more

First time visiting since the new ownership took over. Immediately noticed how much nicer it looks - cleaned up and painted! Yay! The customer service was really great. I was kind of taken aback, actually. I'm not used to notable customer service when I get my emissions done. It's usually pretty cut and dry. It was a welcome change. The cost is average - $20. If you're in the area you should check it out. And hey, it turns out they donate some proceeds. Between that and the great customer service I'd say this is the coolest emissions place in Atlanta. This is your any other average emissions place with any ole average price. (20 dollars is nothing to complain about) Pastor David is most definitely worth his salt in life and is a very stand up guy. I will be referring anyone and everyone to come here for their Emissions. He also stated that a certain percentage of the proceeds go to his charities as well. The place was previously a drive thru car wash, and has been completely gutted out and made into a pull in emissions shop with waiting area and refreshments. I was in and out in under 10 mins. Will be coming back here as long has he is still there. read more
