The person they sent to do the work (forgot his name)worked all day cleaning the pavers, putting new sand in and sealing them. He was very polite and answered any questions I had. A few days later, I noticed an issue with one of the pavers and I contacted the company. The owner agreed to send someone out. Two guys came today to repair the paver and explained to me what they had to do. I am satisfied with the work and I would not hesitate to hire Buffalo Hardscapes again.

We realized we needed someone familiar with all these factors and the characteristics of shrub, tree, and "pests" we would ultimately consider. Our initial visit was more extensive and detailed than expected, and we knew we had found someone that could overcome the challenges we faced. After review of the project scope and our tastes, which included some Japanese/Oriental plants and shrub considerations, we began the process of viewing and analyzing dozens upon dozens of plants, shrubs and trees. As a result of our meetings and changes, Peter designed a backyard patio and surrounding gardens that were beyond our imagination. We have come to realize that since the project was completed in early June 2022, his knowledge of plant sizes, spacing, bloom times and colors has truly become apparent. While meeting and indicating "Yes, we like that, and that would work...," it wasn't until we have been living with the results of his vision and brilliance that it solidified just how talented he is. The various shrubs and perennials (we did not plant annuals) have begun to bloom and display colors throughout the summer season and have been a true joy. We cannot wait for the fall foliage to reveal itself. The watering and care we have shown has allowed us to witness the growth firsthand and has left us in awe of just how beautiful it looks. I contacted 5 different landscaping companies - 3 said they would come out to look at my yard for a quote and then no-call no-showed, 1 said they were already overbooked, and 1 actually did come out to look at the yard and said they would give me a quote, but after two weeks still hasn't provided one. My wife then found Grazing Buffalo online. First off, their customer service was MUCH better. Steve showed up when he said he would, got me his quote (for a very reasonable price) quickly, and he and his crew showed up at the appointed time, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up well after. We have 2 big trees in our backyard and we noticed last summer that they needed some maintenance…read more There were plenty of dead branches and some of them were getting way too close to the house. We called Davey Tree Expert and shortly after George, one of their arborists, stopped by. We discussed what needed to be done and he sent an estimate soon after. We noticed that the leaves turned brown prematurely during the summer. George told us both trees needed fertilizing. He pointed out to us, which branches need attention, needed to be trimmed or cut off. He also pointed out a lot of dead wood that needed to be removed. Fertilization was done in October and they recommend you repeat it each year. The trimming was planned for February or March, they give you 10% off if they can do it during the winter months. The first date got cancelled because the job they were at, took more tome than planned. Yesterday, March 3rd, George called and said they had an opening and can they come over now. Sure. A crew of 4 with 3 big trucks showed up shortly. Our driveway was too narrow for the cherry picker, so 2 guys climbed the trees to do all the work. The 2 others handed them their tools, cleaned up all the falling branches and mulched them immediately. It was a fast operation, an hour and a half at most. They cleaned up the driveway before they left. If you need tree maintenance done, Davey is the company to go to.

We needed our two Silver Maple trees trimmed, especially the one that was sending out branches over…read moreour neighbor's fence. The Davey arborist came over to discuss what we had to have done. He told us we needed to have our trees fertilized. Lack of fertilizer was the reason the leaves were turning prematurely brown each year, not because of the change in season. He also described which branches specifically had to be trimmed or cut off entirely. The Davey team came in October to fertilize our trees. They would return sometime in the winter months to do the trimming. Today, March 3, 2021, a team of four men came with their cherry picker. Unfortunately it seemed too close to the houses on either side of the driveway to get the cherry-picker up our driveway and so instead two men climbed the trees and sawed and cut branches; the other two men picked up the branches and sent them through the machinery to turn them into mulch. The entire job took approximately an hour and 1/2. The men used their blower to clean up the tree "crumbs" in the driveway. It was a very efficient operation, very neat and tidy.
