Great experience! Jose was the best tour guide! We had a group of 14 and we all loved it!! Between the pedaling, singing, and laughing, it was the best experience! Totally recommend it as a must-do!

    You rock, Brad (& Chris)!!

We had Brad and Chris this past Friday night as our guides and they were both amazing!! Both allowed us to have as much fun as humanly possible, not only stopping at designated stops, but also at a few extras to do random fitness routines and shenanigans. Thanks for the great time in Buffalo! ! ~Kelly

Buffalo Pedal Tours is an awesome company. They were easy to do business with, flexible and on top of their stuff! We knew right from the first phone call what we needed to have, fill out, and itinerary. Mary and Megan were our guides and they made the trip so fun! We had a group of 10 but in the past we have done more. The bars we stopped at were great! We had a blast from start to finish !!! I would highly recommend this company

This was great! The group I was with did a Buffalo Pedal Tour on a Wednesday night at 8:30. We waited for the 5:30 tour to finish up theirs outside the Big Ditch Brewing Co, and it was totally up to us as to where we wanted to stop at for our little bar hopping bike tour. The other group unloaded from the bike blaring country music and laughing to the point of almost crying, they absolutely loved it and it was a great omen as we hopped on in their place. There are cubbies where you can stash purses or jackets, it's cool to bring water bottles (and in fact, I would strongly suggest it), and other snacks (which I also suggest). We were allowed about 20-25 minutes at each shop, which was good for about 1 drink at each place. The tour itself runs about 2 hours with a little bit of wiggle room, such as the 5:30 tour pulled up at 8, and our 8:30 tour really ended around 10:45 and we had to pedal the bike into the garage it gets stowed in at night. The pedaling is slow going, but that's perfectly alright. It gives you plenty of time to take in the beautiful downtown renovation of Buffalo, keep your conversation going, and you're still going to get a good workout as you all try to pedal quickly through the stoplights. It's so much fun and a great workout to break up the drinks! You can party and feel good about it all at the same time! You can even pair your smart phone with the speaker on board to play music lists. But don't bring a CD, there's no CD player. I mean, it is 2015, we have Bluetooth now, and even though we jerryrigged an old stereo someone had in their car to the Pedal Bike aux system, it was all staticky and the CD skipped. Just someone have Pandora or Spotify on their phone and play from there, the guy steering the pedal tours and keeping time is more than happy to help you pair your device with the bike. So it was a lot of fun! I would suggest don't do this after a long day of work (one of our group works manual labor and he was not having a good time at all), and I myself was a little worn out from training for a half marathon and nursing a sore knee, but it was still a really good time! Definitely something everyone should do once in their life!

Had a fine time...request Kelly if you do. Was playing music and acting like a bunch of wild animal. It was a shit show. If you haven't done it yet, I'd recommend it..like now

This was hands down among the top 3 places we've ever stayed while on vacation and one of the best places we've had breakfast. Holly and Daniel have not only renovated and furnished a historic home themselves, but offer a hospitable experience with beautiful bedrooms and sitting areas as well as wonderful food. No detail is spared. If you're needing a place to stay in Buffalo, or just want to get away, look no further, Buffalo Harmony House is here! My toddler, husband, and I stayed here while in town for a wedding downtown. This location was a 5-minute drive from the wedding venue. We opted to stay here instead of a mainstream hotel because we knew this place would be clean. We weren't expecting such a well-put-together home and such amazing food, service, and hospitality. The photos really don't do it justice. I wish I took some of our room and the sitting areas, but only remembered to photograph the food. They have a piano, which my son and I loved to play. They pick their own fruits from local farms, and freeze them, so no matter what, you get the freshest, tastiest pastries during your 4-course breakfast. They also have a rooftop garden to grow their own vegetables. I believe they make essentially everything from scratch. Their whipped cream was decadent, and nothing was too rich, all was perfectly flavorful. They allow you to select sweet vs. savory as well. My husband got savory and I got sweet, so we both got to try the best of both! They made everything gluten free just for us since my husband can't have gluten. I couldn't tell that it was gluten free, which was wonderful (anyone who know what it's like only eating gluten free will understand that if a person who eats gluten loved the gf food, it means something). Also, the coffee was third wave barista quality. We wish we had more than two days to stay in Buffalo. We were so happy to have found this place.

Both times we had Captain Dave, a tall gentleman with salt and pepper hair. He spoke rudely to a handful of customers and both of his bartenders. The first time we assumed he was having an off day, but seeing this attitude a second time on a different boat was shocking and disappointing. Perhaps the customers and bartenders were rude to him first, but regardless, it was inappropriate for others to witness. He also mentions at the start of the ride that there is no vaping onboard, which we found to be more than reasonable. However, my wife and I saw HIM vaping while driving the boat?! Additionally, we felt as if the drinks were overtly overpriced -- 2 oz well liquor for $12 is insane! No bar I have been to in the Buffalo area charges that much for a well cocktail. However, we did feel as if the price of the tour itself was reasonable. The music was also not to our liking, but we understand it is challenging to accommodate everyone. But, it would have been nice to suggest a song or two. Unfortunately, a few of our friends have has similar experiences.... We wished we had a better experience, but as it stands now, we will not return nor recommend this place to others.

I found the Underground Railroad tour in Buffalo and immediately booked. Why did I book? For starts, it's a 3 hour tour learning about one of the most historic and unknown aspects of American history. It is extremely well priced for the convenience and intimacy of the tour. You're picked up at the Underground Railroad Historic Museum (free parking is a bonus) and you're met by Kevin (dressed in period clothing including a dope top hat). He drives you to the key areas of Buffalo that were critical to the Underground Railroad. We had a very diverse tour group and Kevin made us feel comfortable to ask questions and to interact with our group. One of the best parts of the tour was going to an actual "station" on the Underground Railroad. It's a 300 year-old barn organically owned by McClew family who were "conductors" on the Underground Railroad. You get to experience the barn where many people were housed, fed, and clothed on their journey to Canada. After this experience 've become a Motherland C groupie! Kevin (the owner) could be a history professor (watch out, Dr. Gates!) with his knowledge and passion of American history and the history of Western New York (he's a Buffalo native). Kevin even gave great recommendations for shops, food and hotels for the Toronto leg of our trip. They offer a variety of tours so make sure to check out their website to get their schedule.

Turns out we were the only ones on the tour today, so it was a wonderful, personal experience with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide named Kevin Cottrell.
