The rooms are perfectly designed and always clean, the amenities are great, and the property is nice and tucked away from the hustle bustle, so you get a nice and peaceful stay. The food is absolutely on another level. If you have a chance to do dinner at the inn, please do! Each dish is carefully crafted with so much time and effort, and it shows when it gets to your table. Same goes with the breakfasts, which are on a rotating menu and served in courses. I have never had a bad meal here. They even have great advice that we use in our home cooking now as well! Everyone there is super friendly and genuinely kind. They even helped me plan my engagement/proposal to my wife a couple years ago that I appreciate so much, and they get even the small details of your stay right every single time. We will look back at that time for the rest of our lives. We look forward to returning many more times in the years to come! The Fam. and I spent this past Friday and Saturday night at Trapper's and we would return in a heartbeat. Trapper's Rendezvous site out in the wide open spaces that surround Williams. If you want to get to town, it is a 5 minute drive, maybe 10 if you get stuck behind an RV. You get the peace and quiet with the convenience of being close to town. We arrived at Trapper's around 3 after visiting Bearizona and having lunch. Check-in wasn't until 4, but we called and said our room was ready. Emily and Matthieu are the onsite hosts and they are so nice. They do a great job at taking care of the place. Literally within minutes or people checking out, they are getting the room ready for the next guest. Trapper's has a total of 6 cabins. All of them placed around a courtyard with a large pavilion in the center. We were assigned cabin one. Better known as Wild Wild West. The room was spacious with to very comfortable queen sized beds. There was also a smart tv, fridge, and coffee maker. You can even sit out on the front porch to Strat your morning with a cup of coffee or watch the sun go down in the evening. Note: Cabin 1 is an ADA room. If you feel like cooking for yourself, there is a gas grill available in the pavilion. We grilled some kabobs and it was a great experience. However, you'll need to bring your own plates and flatware. If you want to sit around the fire and make s'mores, you can do that also. Everything you need is provided for you. We never saw a single person the entire stay, although we did hear another guest talking in their room. I think noise isolation might be an issue if all the rooms were occupied, but there was only one other guest that night, I can tell because the other rooms were vacant with door ajar. The rooms are very clean, unique and do have a pretty deep historical feel to it. I greatly enjoyed the decor and bed was reasonably comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was far superior to the motel that we stayed in the night before. The location is close to a few food dining options in town. There is a vending machine in a guest break room with snacks and drink, but unfortunately the whole machine appears to be out of drinks, which was very disappointing. Overall a comfortable and unique stay, but I wouldn't pay an astronomical price for this experience, probably no more than I would pay for a 3-star hotel. I truly believe that when you hire people who genuinely care about their guests and love what they do, success follows--and that's exactly what this hotel has done. I then called Legacies to talk to the owner about getting my deposit back. They were not there and I left a message with the staff to have them call me. 1.5 weeks later I still had no return call. I called Legacies to get the deposit back and talked to one of the owners and was informed that the other B&B is their sister B&B and it's my fault for canceling and I do not get my deposit back. Not to mention the owner told me that their cancellation policy is 10 days, even though they canceled and changed our reservation, and then proceeded to hang up on me.
