On our road trip from Fort Worth, we were researching available places in this area and Little Tracks came up as having one night open!!! We lucked out!! We stayed in Red Fish cabin for the night. Once you reserve and pay for your stay, the owners text you the appropriate information to get in! They're so hospitable. When we walked inside our cabin from our long day of driving, we were greeted with a cozy and clean place! There is a hot shower, shampoo/conditioner, beauty mirror, towel hooks, towels and linens. The kitchen is complete with dinnerware and cutlery, a blender, coffee machine and fridge in case you want to cook any meals. We also spotted a fire pit in the front for making s'mores! If the temps gets too cold or hot outside, there is an ac unit to make your sleep more comfortable. There is a tv mounted in case you have time for watching anything, we didn't though. The trees were gorgeous, showing off their fall colors, and it was so quiet despite being right off I-40! It felt like a night at Grandma's house, safe and snuggly. We recommend staying!

We had sloppy Joes, with pasta salad and other sides plus a homemade berry cobbler. The rooms are large, clean and we even needed heat which worked fine. This is a spot worth supporting if you ever find yourself in this part of Tennesee.

He had the baby back ribs "sticky style" and he said they were the best ribs he has ever had. I had a grilled chicken salad and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries were as good as any I have had. The salad was a salad. I think it was iceberg lettuce. Everything was fresh. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was friendly and attentive. They do allow you to bring your own alcohol, but they do not sell any at the restaurant, so make sure you bring it, if you want it.

He spent an hour or more with my husband, showing him all the things to get us situated! This made all the difference in the world to our stay! It was a very quiet area, the closest neighbors being a cemetery. There are stated quiet hours, which we really appreciated, wanting a relaxed and restful time, as new retirees. We spent time exploring the neighboring town (cute!) of Linden and going to Mousetail State Park to wade in the water and watch waterfowl. Dan offered to take us on a boat ride in his cabin cruiser (it has a bathroom!), and we took him up on it! We spent about 2 hours on the TN river, sightseeing. It was so much fun and we even got to steer the boat for a bit. Back at the marina we sat and visited with Dan for another hour or so. He is an extremely nice and interesting man and we enjoyed spending time with him. Since we didn't have a grill, he offered his charcoal grill, which was so kind. The grounds were very clean, the decks come with 2 Adirondack chairs. We took nice hot showers in the clean bathhouse. He also helped in a similar way, when we were leaving, to disconnect the water, electricity, etc, spending about another hour of his time teaching us what to do. All in all, we would highly recommend this place for all those wanting a quiet place to camp!

Highly recommend getting the combined museum and Loretta Lynn's (LL) house tour ticket. Our tour guide didn't seem very excited. My hubby thought she wasn't feeling well. But I could see how the right guide could take the tour to the next level. A replica of LLs old KY home is furnished with personal items, like her parents shoes. Very endearing. A replica of her tour bus is inside the museum, and you can walk through it. The actual bus is in the parking lot of the museum. The museum is quite the gem. So many beautiful gowns, and memorabilia from LL long career, as well as many other artists. Growing up, my dad would play guitar and sing Kaw-liga, so the wooden statues brought that happy memory up. Highly recommend!

I thought primitive camping would not have that. Sign on a tree that was covered by a bunch of leaves way down the other end did not even look like a Camp spot. No hot or even lukewarm water to shower in morning, so it was washed the face and leave. Tiny shower stalls no AC Did not even stay to do the tour. the place was filthy dirty all the way around. I understand that this is a four wheeler park at certain times of the year, but even the top of the trashcan in front of the store was disgusting. I would not recommend this place to no one. The only reason we get one stars because at least we could sleep and stop and feel a little safe where we were in the middle of nowhere land

Campsites are large with even asphalt parking. Each has a picnic table and camp ring. There are several hiking areas leading out of camp and some beautiful vistas. Also the historic site on property is very interesting!!! I went for one night and liked it so much I stayed 2! Big shade trees kept the site cool even during summer. The little Swan area had an additional picnic area with a beautiful water stream view, so peaceful!

From the moment we arrived, we were wowed--the photos online simply do not do this place justice! The cabin is even more spacious and beautiful in person, making it perfect for a couple's retreat. The price was very reasonable--comparable to an average hotel--but with so much more to offer. Unlike a typical hotel room, this cozy cabin provided ample space, privacy, and unbeatable amenities. Nestled deep in the woods, the cabin offers complete seclusion, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We especially loved the private hot tub on the back deck, where we could unwind while surrounded by nature. The cabin itself is beautifully designed with a full kitchen and bathroom, a spacious living room, a charming breakfast table for two, and a cozy lofted bedroom. The wraparound wooden deck features additional seating, a hammock, an outdoor dining area, and a fire pit--ideal for relaxing under the stars. One of the most refreshing aspects of our stay was the "unplugged" experience--no TV, no WiFi, and minimal cell service. It truly allowed us to disconnect from distractions and focus on each other. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Loretta Lynn's Ranch and a variety of restaurants in Hurricane Mills, McEwen, and Dickson (TN). It's an excellent base for exploring, but honestly, we were so content in the cabin that we barely wanted to leave! We chose this retreat as a romantic getaway, and it exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a place that fosters peace, intimacy, and relaxation, this is it. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and the host was both thoughtful and communicative, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-prepared upon our arrival. If I had to name the worst part, it would be leaving. Two nights simply weren't enough--we could have happily stayed for a week or more. With Rock 'n Refuge being just two hours from our home in Kentucky, we're already planning our return.
