Everyone there is relaxed, polite, pleasant and will help the patient with any anxiety, etc. We recommend them without any reservations. My husband and I can't continue with Dual Arc Dental because they no longer submit the full bill to the insurance company and after that amount is paid the patient pays the balance. Sometimes we cannot afford to pay up front so we located another practice recommended by a friend which will submit the bill to our insurance and allow us to pay the balance. We understand that Dual Arc made a business decision and we wish them the best. Try them and you will be impressed with the high level of dental help.

I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!

The dentist was very calm and patient with my son, which in turn made him less nervous and more comfortable .The office staff went above and beyond to try to find the dental insurance his dad has on him, I ended up paying out of pocket but it was much cheaper then it would've been where we live. For starters, Dr. Newman and Dr. Engel are no longer there, and there was no communication about this when I had just begun my ortho treatment. That's something I would have appreciated transparency on, especially since it directly impacts my care. Secondly the new orthodontist has been disappointing. He doesn't introduce himself, barely interacts, and often just walks in and out without much explanation. It honestly makes me question the purpose of coming in when I could just manage my trays at home and track my own progress at this point. I've also seen that others have had similar concerns. From what I've found, he also has negative reviews elsewhere outside of this practice as well, so this experience feels inconsistent and concerning. I really wish there was more transparency and a higher standard of patient care. At the end of the day, I don't understand keeping a provider who doesn't seem to prioritize patient experience.

I left a message Thursday evening. I got a call back first thing Friday morning and was able to be seen that day. Dr. Eck and his team made me feel comfortable and not shamed for my lack of dental care over the years. (Strahler was the previous owner, and before that, Penshorn to clear up confusion in how it may be listed on Google, and Dr. Penshorn still works there ). They assisted me through the process of applying for Care Credit and Alphaeon so I could pay for my services, emailing the links to make it quick and easy. I chose to get a full set of x-rays done (but I had the option to do a limited exam for only my problem tooth if I preferred or had limited funds). I'll be coming back in one week to get my temporary crown & deep cleaning, and 4 weeks later I'll get my permanent crown, which is porcelain, not silver, so I can still have a confident smile. They are all very personable, friendly, welcoming, and real. Every person. I have complete confidence in this team and the dentist to give me the best care. The office is clean and inviting. They offer complimentary products to brush your teeth in the lobby bathroom before your appointment (if you so wish) so you don't feel embarrassed coming in after lunch. I was surprised to see non-GMO snacks and healthy sugar-free drink options (with stevia! Not aspartame or sucralose- I LOVE Zevia drinks!). I'm so glad I found them! They are a God-send.

Dr James at Marbella Dentistry made me feel at home and that I was in good hands for all my dental needs. I just want to say, if you're looking for a family dentist, Marbella Dentistry is the best! I've been seen by Dr James, Dr Morozumi and Dr Lim. They are all awesome! The staff is amazing too! Today, I had a tooth removed and bone graft placed by Dr Lim. He was amazing at explaining everything and listening to my concerns. Everything went smoothly! Once healed, I will have an implant done. They have state of the art equipment. I've had quite a bit of dental work done with them over the last 3 years. They scan your mouth to make a crown instead of having to use impression material. I was impressed! Anyway, I'm so happy to have a Dental Clinic near me that I can count on for my family. I highly recommend Marbella Dentistry in Cibolo, Texas. Plus, they are open on Saturdays. I love them!

Due to swelling from the extraction, the flipper was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I was told to give it a couple of days and return for an adjustment. I live in Canyon Lake and don't normally travel to the Cibolo area, so getting back during their office hours was difficult. A dental assistant suggested I stop by whenever I was in the area. When I did, they sanded the flipper. I specifically asked the front desk if I would be charged and was told no. I paid my bill in full. About a month later, I received a bill for $141 for the insurance balance, which I paid. Then in late January, I received another bill for $40, stating that because I didn't have a scheduled appointment and was seen as a walk-in for the flipper adjustment, I was being charged. This was never disclosed to me at the time of service, and I would not have agreed had I been told. The inconsistent billing and lack of transparency were frustrating. I recommend confirming all charges in writing before agreeing to follow-up care.

I keep my mouth fairly clean and haven't had mouth pain for 4 years. 2 weeks ago one of my fillings fell out. It's not painful, but the edges are sharp against my tongue. I called Oasis up and made an appointment to fix my filling. They already have my records, and maybe I'd get back into the habit of regular cleanings. They saw me 2 days after my filling fell out. Awesome. I go to my appointment. They take xrays and ask me questions about the severity of my missing filling. I've got no pain, it just needs to be replaced. They say they don't have time to fix it today and that I need another appointment. Apparently it'll take an hour. I was hoping to get it done, but no biggie. They can see me in a week. I take time off work to get my filling replaced. On my way out of my neighborhood they call and tell me they're pushing me back. Ok. Things happen. I get seated in a room 15 minutes after my appointment. Now my blood pressure is 2 points too high. They use one of those cheap electronic BP cuffs. I'm sitting in this dentist chair hoping my BP drops so I can get this work done that I tried to schedule a week and a half ago. They take my blood pressure 2 more times with the cheap cuff, tell me a few things about ADA regulations, and boot me out the door. I worked in healthcare. When a cheap BP cuff reads high, usually someone takes a manual pressure which is more accurate. I was 2 points high, probably at least partly caused by them delaying my appointment and now they won't treat me. If you didn't want me as a patient because I stopped routine cleanings 4 years ago, have the decency to tell me and not waste my time at 2 appointments. You could have told me last week that I should find a new dentist and I would have understood. Dr Galles may be an ok dentist but he is not an ok person.
