Due to swelling from the extraction, the flipper was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I was told to give it a couple of days and return for an adjustment. I live in Canyon Lake and don't normally travel to the Cibolo area, so getting back during their office hours was difficult. A dental assistant suggested I stop by whenever I was in the area. When I did, they sanded the flipper. I specifically asked the front desk if I would be charged and was told no. I paid my bill in full. About a month later, I received a bill for $141 for the insurance balance, which I paid. Then in late January, I received another bill for $40, stating that because I didn't have a scheduled appointment and was seen as a walk-in for the flipper adjustment, I was being charged. This was never disclosed to me at the time of service, and I would not have agreed had I been told. The inconsistent billing and lack of transparency were frustrating. I recommend confirming all charges in writing before agreeing to follow-up care.

I complained about the tooth packing with food every time I ate anything. Because it was too small, food filled the gaps on both sides every time. It looks like a child's tooth in my mouth. They refused to do anything about it. I have to go to another dentist to have this corrected. You know the old saying you get what you pay for, it applies here. Then I requested a crown to be placed on 1 of my upper molar's which was giving me some discomfort. This dentist identified this chipped molar prior to me, keep this in mind. The dentist refused to place a crown on the molar unless I pay for teeth cleaning first, my teeth are pearl white. They just wanted to make more money. The cleaning was a scam as far as I'm concerned. This outfit needs to be reported for its poor business practices, and refusing medical attention to a tooth in need. Weird. So moments later Dr. Enriquez comes around the corner with the key, opens the office and gets my change but also has a mini counseling session with me about what I said. So was the girl at the counter just afraid to ask for the keys? The last thing was my mask. The whole idea of wearing one to a dental appointment is just mental. I took my daughter and they didn't like the one I was wearing and I declined the one I was offered. In May of 2020 when I heard Abbott was making a mask order I went to JoAnne's and bought a yard of eyelash lace and some elastic. I used it for a face covering and it actually did the same thing as every other mask.
