The food itself was decent chicken tenders looked like all the extra pieces at the end of the batch, and the wait time was longer than it should have been, especially considering what was ordered. The restaurant also had a noticeable stale beer smell that took away from the overall experience. That said, credit where it's due--the customer service was the highlight of the visit. The bartender Sammy was friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. Good service can make a big difference, and it definitely helped. Asked to get sat outside, as there was NOBODY out there. The place was not full. I understand it was a UFC fight night. The fights were over at 6 or so and we were there after 7. The staff was almost non existent. People were waiting for to go food, also nobody was being sat. Everyone who asked for a table told the wait was over an hour. Again, this place was not full. We came here to watch some football and use up a gift card from the year before. Our server was friendly and helpful. He also made entering my gift cards at the end very easy. Now for the rest... its loud, dark, the food is over priced imo and the wings are not crispy. They also no longer have they're gaming tablets which broke and were too expensive for the company to replace. I get inflation and the price of wings are up every where but their wings just aren't for me. They're a nice size, not huge or small, brined and what we ordered were sauced. Let's get the good part out of the way: the wings are very good. They are large and moist, though not very crispy; they remind me more of wonderfully small pieces of roast chicken with occasional crisp bits here and there. They offer a lot of sauce and rub options (I think around 20) ranging from sweet to hot, and taking you various places like South America, Asia and Buffalo. The staff are friendly, and there are lots of TVs to watch the game. They will let you split up a large order of wings into multiple flavors, which is nice. But it used to be my favorite restaurant, and things have changed. First, they have done away with the tablets they used to give out for free so that you could play trivia and poker games with other patrons. Our server said that they kept breaking and BWW didn't want to pay to replace them. Those people with smartphones probably don't care, but I really liked sitting here for hours eating wings and playing poker with those around me. Also, their prices have gone up and they don't do 25-cent/35-cent wing nights anymore. I can't blame them for raising their prices, but they used to be a great bargain and now they are just average (even with 1/2 off Tuesdays). Finally, it is really dark and loud in here. That is so you can watch games, which is a good thing. But, it was hard to talk with my wife and hard to hear the televisions. It used to be brighter, and I am not sure why they changed their lighting. Maybe a bunch of bulbs were out on the day we came? Sadly, the magic has worn off of this place. The last time I was here, they ID'ed me on my birthday but never noticed or wished me a happy birthday. On our most recent trip, they shorted us a wing and were out of one of my favorite wing sauces (honey BBQ). Little details to be sure, but those things are why I loved BWW so much. Decided to check this place out after a couple of years of laying low, just to see what I've been missing. I have to say, the food was pretty great overall. Mind you, the atmosphere could use just a bit of a designer love, but I guess if you're going to a themed sports bar/restaurant for dudes, that's likely not a priority, LOL. Started with the Hatch Queso and it was pretty good. The chips were fresh and crispy, in the queso was pretty yummy. I didn't care for the salsa that came on the side though. The flavor was like it wanted to be a medium salsa, but had not even a mild kick. My main course was the All-American Cheeseburger. It was thick, juicy, and full of love. I have absolutely no complaints about it. In fact, I will definitely be coming back because it satisfied my burger itch. The meat was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and the cheese was melted like an artist did it. The pickles, lettuce, and tomato, all enhance the flavor of the burger. Sometimes "simple done right" is all you need. But the star of the show for me, is usually the french fries. And in this case, they did an impressive job. The fries weren't too thick, they were perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and came out nice and hot. Everyone knows, that bad fries can ruin a meal, bit these will definitely have me coming back for more. As a side note, the booths were separated with tall plastic barriers, the tables were more than 6 ft apart, and the wait staff all followed pandemic protocol. I felt safe, and I felt like the team there took it seriously. The wait staff wasn't the most attentive (waited a little bit for ketchup and a refill on my soda), but I'm not taking a point off because it was busy during a pandemic. One star for the "manager" Nick who, in front of a packed house, gave a retired military vet a hard time after he waited an hour for wings. The inexperienced retail manager threw fuel on the fire rather than act like a manager and diffuse the situation. He talked down to him, patronized him and I heard him tell one of the staff; "That guy was tweaking over ten wings." Not cool to still be heated and allow other guests to hear you bad mouth a customer. It was uncomfortable for customers who were sitting there and had to hear him and just plain wrong. This was on 10/6 more towards the evening. This manager was also playing the role of hostess. To use the excuse we are short staffed is inexcusable! A paying customer does not want to hear that excuse. You had a girl in the booth when you first walk in who was hostess. You as the manager should have pitched in elsewhere. Not a bad place to go if you're with some friends and craving wings in the area. It has decent food as long as you're okay with most food being frozen and not fresh. The restaurant itself looked great. Plenty of parking spaces and inside was pretty crowded. We were seated fairly quickly and our waiter was great! Our food came within 10-15 min at most and everything came together. My favorite was the wings. It is a wings place after all, so I expected it to be good and wasn't disappointed. There were many flavors to choose from. I personally recommend Asian Zing, Mango Habanero, Spicy Garlic and Chipotle Bbq ( ONLY if you can tolerate spicy food). Chipotle Bbq is my favorite so far. The rub is perfect on the boned wings. Not sure if I liked the boneless wings though. It was okay at best. We tried some other food like cheese burger and Ultimate Nacho. Came in here tonight after dinner to watch the Yankees play (sadly they lost) with family the night before an out-of-town wedding. The service was stellar; Nick, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful, coming around often to ensure we were enjoying the evening and had everything we needed. Josh, The Captain, also came by to say hello and make sure all was well. Although we'd had a great dinner elsewhere, we ordered deep fried pickles and boneless wings. The deep fried pickles-I wasn't even hungry but had to try one (and ended up eating a good deal of them) were the right combo of crispy outside and crunchy dill pickle inside. The cornmeal batter had the right amount of spice as well. I tried the ranch dip that came with them-it had a smoky heat to it, but mostly I ate them in their plain glory. I'd ordered the Ginger Margarita and it was one of the best mixed drinks I've had in a long time. It was ginger spicy and delicious. Any B-dubs is a great place to go for drinks and to watch the game (many TVs and projectors). They all have a huge selections of sauces and dry rubs for wings. TL;DR my boyfriend forgot his sweater at Buffalo Wild Wings that we got at a concert from his absolutely favorite band during their first North American concert tour. One of the shift managers, whose name I believe was Nick, stole it because he recognized me from my job and was upset that I wouldnt give him a medical product for free and that his appointment took too long. This whole situation at Buffalo Wild Wings took like 45mins before an employee called me (while I was driving back home) to say they found it after Nick decided to keep it because I was trying to find it. I have been debating on if I wanted to post this but decided that I should for the sake of others as well. About two months ago, my boyfriend and I went to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Clifton Park for a date. He left for a few-hour drive back to college, then realized he had forgotten his sweater and couldn't find it in the dorm. We got the sweater at a concert by his absolutely favorite band at their first North American tour. Our friends planned a whole trip there and everything, and we all bought the same sweater. It meant more than anything to him. We looked e v e r y w h e r e and realized that it had to be at Buffalo Wild Wings. I went in, talked to a few employees about the sweater, giving a ton of descriptions and everything. I was told that it sounded sort of familiar but that they dont have it. My boyfriend eventually found a picture of the sweater on his phone after freaking out hoping to find one. I went back in and showed the employees the picture. I gave them my name and number, and they took a picture of my phone screen so they would have a reference. I start driving home stressed out and crying. Then, a girl calls and tells me that they found the sweater. I go in, bawling my eyes out and thanking her to death. Turns out, one of the shift managers-I am confident his name was Nick-stole the sweater. I had recognized him and his name while he was aggressively telling me of allllll places the sweater could possibly be if they had found it. He recognized me from my job and had decided to keep the sweater, literally telling other employees that, since it was mine, he would not return it. So, yknow...he deliberately decided to steal the sweater. I work at a doctor's office and recognized him from there. If I remember correctly, he was frustrated during his visit because I didnt give him a medical product for free and because his appointment was taking too long (technical issues for a bit that he was aware of and still decided to stay).
