We stopped by for a family dinner on our way to getting our Christmas Tree. The restaurant was empty, being the day after Thanksgiving at 3:00. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was good. Our dishes included Chicken Parmigiana (you can get it fried or broiled), Shrimp Scampi with mixed vegetables, and a Grilled Chicken Salad, and Fish & Chips. They say they are famous for their fries, and they were quite good. The kids enjoyed their macaroni & cheese, which tasted straight out of the Kraft Box, which is what kids prefer anyway. They have a full bar also. The food was good, nothing exceptional, but you are lucky to find an open restaurant in the area in the winter time.

Running errands in this area and dropped in to try Memphis King's (1st time visit) I always get the same wings (hot buffalo) at each restaurant/bar to keep things fair. Memphis King's wings are smoked, then fried. I've found that you lose a lot of smoke flavor when they're fried to order but these had just the right amount still present. Very tasty. And crispy! (a lot of smoked wings are grilled but, while delicious, it doesn't render enough of the skin to make them crispy and I like crisp!) I've sampled wings from about 30 places (so far) and I would whole heartedly put Memphis King's in my top 10 for sure. Looking forward to trying their other items because their burnt ends look great. As does the house made pastrami *droooool* As for the people, the gal in front of house was wonderful. And the chef (not sure if he was the owner or not) was so nice. Kept checking in on me to see how everything was and kept offering me suggestions and samples. Not pushy, just smart business because I'm 100% gonna go back.

They were very large sandwiches, but herd was mire like pot roast that brisket. And the pork was lacking in flavor. The sweet sauce was thin snd mire like a tomato sauce. As one of the few restaurants open on a Monday evening, it proved to be an excellent choice for dinner. Dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar and enjoyed a conversation with the knowledgeable and courteous bartender, who was happy to share insights about the restaurant's approach to barbecue. Although Dizzy Chicken is well known for its rotisserie chicken, I opted for the smoked half rack of ribs, which were exceptionally tender and packed with rich, smoky flavor. The bartender also pointed out that even the house-made barbecue sauce is smoked in-house, a detail that perfectly reflects the restaurant's commitment to layered, authentic flavors. What impressed me most was the dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Everything on the menu is prepared from scratch, including the sauces, dressings, breads, and cheeses. This attention to detail is evident in every bite. Founded by husband-and-wife team Justin and Maya Bartlett, Dizzy Chicken Barbecue combines traditional slow-smoked barbecue with subtle Mediterranean influences inspired by their travels and culinary backgrounds. Since opening in 2015, the restaurant has built a reputation for creative, high-quality barbecue and has successfully expanded to its Saratoga Springs location. The restaurant's wood-burning rotisserie, featuring antibiotic-free and cage-free chickens, inspired the name "Dizzy Chicken" and serves as a centerpiece of the operation. Combined with the owners' commitment to fresh, preservative-free ingredients and from-scratch cooking, it creates a dining experience that feels both thoughtful and distinctive. Dizzy Chicken Barbecue is well worth a visit. Great food, friendly service, and a genuine passion for quality make it a standout destination in Saratoga Springs.

The first time it was cooked I asked for medium and it actually was well done, too tough, almost like it has been recooked or not fresh. They were kind enough to recook a fresh steak and then it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. The combo plate was sadly not the best. The ribs were alright, good, but not as good as I expected but the sliced brisket ($6 add on) was sadly a disappointment. Two sides per dish. We were also able to sub a side for sautee mushroom which was yummy but also overly salty. The baked potato side was delicious though. Their cornbread wasn't the best for it as it comes cold and tasted like nyc public school breakfast food. Really appreciated the hot water service they had though. And again the ambiance was amazing! Overall a solid place. Would get steak and try something else next time too.
