Kind of disappointed, I arrived at 12:30 for lunch and was told there was a wait? I've never had this happen at a BWW before. There were a lot of empty tables so I guess it was a staffing issue? They did not add my name to a list, just told me to wait so I strips at the entrance and waited. I noticed a lot of customers in groups coming in then leaving when they were told of the wait . I waited less than 5 minutes so no harm done. I noticed they now allow you to add a meat patty to your order so my usual American Cheese burger can now be a triple meat cheeseburger! Ordered it with no bun, a salad and 6,traditional wings with no blue cheese and Ranch on the side. My order was taken quickly and my drink arrived within a few minutes! I want to start off by saying that BWW is notoriously a slow and poor service establishment; however, that was not the case on this visit. We are a group of active duty military and BWW offered 10 boneless wings and fries for FREE on Veteran's Day as a thank you for our service. We immediately sat down, were greeted by a wonderful server named Zach, and had speedy service the whole time. Zach truly needs a kudos for the service he provided us. He was quick, considerate, had an AMAZING attitude, and truly made our experience a delight. We all unanimously agreed that this was the BEST service we've ever had at a BWW. Service is mediocre at best when we go, but I do enjoy watching the fights there and all the flavors of the wings. The salsa absolutely sucks but everything else on the menu is pretty A1. This place is a disaster. I ate there last week with my boss while we were in town on business. This place is roached out. All the upholstery is frayed and torn. The bathrooms are disgusting. We ordered whiskey drinks with the big cubes at the bar there was mold in the ice. The wings were so dry like sand from the beach. The sauce was just glopped in the middle of a pile of wings. Lastly. 2-3 years ago this would have been a 0 star, but management has improved things, slightly. The bathroom doesn't smell as much like fresh feces, but still usually not in good shape. Many of the booths need replaced, and there usually isn't enough staff to handle a crowd, which the crowd probably doesn't show up as much because of how bad it was a few years ago. The mango habanero and blazing sauces were the spicy highlights. The wings were cooked to perfection, and the potato wedges were a nice touch. My husband and I went for lunch today and were given the option of the bar or a table & we asked for a table. The hostess let us know there was only one waiter working at the moment so I service might not be as fast as usual. Jeff was amazing though! We got our food in such a timely manner and he had such a good attitude and smiled and took the time to talk to us. The food was spot on and perfect temp. I feel like I got refills faster than I would somewhere else that might have been fully staffed. It was pretty busy with the lunch rush, but I have no complaints. There are so many things to say in this review. I'll start by explaining how frustrating it can be to stand and wait for literally TWO HOURS in a restaurant that isn't even busy. The waiters will shamelessly talk about how they're not taking tables not because it's too full but because they are just lazy RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. I beg anyone to not give this business their money, I am in from out of town and if later in my life I come to find out this place has shut down I will have the biggest smile on my face. Don't even get me started on the host, she has to be the most brain dead person I've come across in a while. She doesn't help clean the table so I just sit there and wait again for TWO HOURS. While I watch not only the waiters just do nothing but also the host not help clean the tables because she can barely function. I had to personally watch her give out misinformation to so many customers. I walk in and I'm told a 40 minute wait, Lie #1. Then I watch many families and couples come in asking for a time for a wait to which she tells them 40 mins even though she's added about 3-4 families to the list. It makes no sense why you wouldn't tell them more time Lie #2 (to many people). Now the icing on the cake is that the host because I'm assuming has some sort of disability sadly will just let people walk in and seat themselves YES seat themselves. While there is a line of 6 parties crowing the entrance will just let people sit themselves and cut the fraudulent 40 minute line which is really 2+ hours. First we ordered from the "menu" that was posted online, when we called to order the "menu" was different because Flour Bluff and Southside are different, prices too Second we received a text that's it ready. ( I just moved to Corpus Christi) Since Buffalo wild wings is my absolute favorite restaurant I decided to take a chance. The restaurant was clean, and the employees were very friendly. Our server Michael brought us our drinks and took our order. He went over and beyond as our waiter. Our wings came out hot and exactly how we like them. We did not have to ask for refills(he brought us them)and he checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was OK. Wow. I wish I had read the reviews before dining here. The good - The carhop was great. He was friendly and efficient. That was the only good part of the experience. The bad - Everything else. The side salad was only filled 1/3 of the way. The onion rings were fried into one big clump and the middle was raw. One of the kids milks was missing. There was no ketchup given for the fries. One of the orders of wings was so undercooked that we chose not to eat it. The sauces were packaged upside down creating a terrible mess in the bag. I found the facility poorly managed. Many of the TVs were not maintained and serious problems with picture. There was also a very bad mold smell And lack of sanitation. The worst part was the brazenly rude treatment by the wait staff, and eventually, the manager. They would not honor an advertised special. For months now, my boyfriend and I have become regulars at this Buffalo Wild Wings, going at least 4 times every month. We mostly go for Happy Hour and make the most out of Thursdays when there's a discounted price on boneless wings. Occasionally, we take others out to eat with us there on weekends. Last Thursday we ordered over the phone to-go for the very first time... and possibly the last. We asked for 3 ranch dips, and the worker told us they'd be $.60 each. I guess since the wings were discounted the ranch cost more, which was alright with us, so we went ahead and got three. I checked the bag before we drove off and everything seemed in order. Once we got home however, we realized that it was not. The ranch we paid $.60 each for? Barely filled. One ranch dip had less than half, the other had what looked like a teaspoon. We were already too far to drive back, but how annoying is that? I wouldn't have thought to open the ranch containers, but I guess I should have. Next time we're ordering ranch from WingStop since they don't skimp out on us. It's frustrating that we paid $.60 for a spoonful of ranch. The prices at BWW are high enough already. That was just the most recent incident. We've had several more. Twice our guests have had drinks spilled on them (one time beer, the other time dirty drinks that were going to the back). We're lucky they weren't on a lunch break or something otherwise they would have went back to work smelling and looking like trash. Another time I came out of the bathroom stall to find a drunk man wandering around in the women's restroom. Like really? You're going to over-serve someone before peak hour, before it's busy or even dark outside, AND allow them to walk into the ladies restroom? There were kids there. Had some grown man walked into the ladies restroom drunk while my daughter was in there I would have raised hell. We stopped going when it was dead because the last time we went when there was hardly anyone, our wings tasted like they sat out in the heat for a while. Like they were leftover wings from a lunch rush or something. When business is slow, they should be on top of their game. That day it seemed like they just wanted everyone out. On another day when it was slow, the servers were chatting away with one another, forgetting our order, and not refilling our drinks. The night staff there does more than the day staff does and that's because that day staff has it easy. We've given BWW so many chances because it's one of our favorite places to eat but I'm running out of patience. Almost every time we go now I find one more thing I dislike about it.
