Me and my girlfriend got kicked out because I was wearing a James Avery necklace with a cross on it. Three bouncers walked up to us to kick us out and intimidating my girlfriend. As they were kicking us out they had already over-served my girlfriend which I had to carry her out, I asked the bouncers several times to give me a moment so that I could allow my girlfriend to drink some water, bouncer states "no you can go and order water somewhere else with a derogatory name being called after. So moral of the story this place is trash the bouncers are horrible, and you're allowed to go in there half naked but do not let your necklace hang out of your shirt!! read more

Rudest bartender in town. Doesn't greet customers, doesn't smile, doesn't make eye contact and puts money in your hand like you're carrying a disease. Women's bathroom has two toilets and one was not working. The only two things good about this place was the amazing music and the awesome people in the bar. I met some of the nicest people there. So other than the rude, non happy bartender and one working toilet, this bar is ok if you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of drunk college kids and waiting in a long line to use the bathroom. It'll be a long time before I return to this establishment. There are way better bars to visit in Corpus than this place and they have friendlier bartenders too. read more

Holy Moly. I have been so many places around the world in my life and this place is one of the worst places ever if not the actual worst. All draft beer doesn't work as the system has been down for weeks. The huge neon sign that says ask is about our daily drink specials os fraudulent. I asked the bartender what they were and she said we don't have specials. I told her the bright neon sign says you do and she said they have never had specials. I had to beg her to finally look at the sign and she said she has never seen that before. Then she said we charge an extra $2.50 per drink if you use a credit card but even better the atm is broken. What a joke this place is. Someone buy and revamp this fucking dump that has potential, I think. read more

Walking down the street, on any particular night, in downtown Corpus Christi is always interesting! We just so happened to stumble into Flanagan's Downtown after hearing their music from around the corner. Flanagan's offers a true "hole in the wall" vibe with superb service, an extensive selection of drink options and, on this particular night, a live DJ! We met with the owner, who was more than humble, and we had no idea he was an owner until leaving! We will DEFINITELY be returning soon. They've also opened another location on the South Side which has a much larger set up, beautiful patio, TURTLE RACES, and the friendliest staff you can come across! Thank you guys for everything! If you're in your 20s or early-30s you might enjoy coming here. With two bar areas and separate DJs spinning tunes on the weekend, it's not at all a bad place to spend a night out with friends. Would I stay all night? I guess that all depends on how much you drink and how well your legs work afterwards. For me, I'm kind of past this stage but was only in town for a night and the bar was right up the street from my hotel, so why not? For those on the prowl, I think you'll do well here no matter your sex or preference. For those looking for only the finest liquor, you'll be better off at Mulligan's, I think. But there was enough offered here you should be fine with something they have. And for those looking for seats, there are plenty! read more

Seriously irritated right now. Having fun, enjoying relaxing after a day at the beach and my boyfriend had his powered aspirin on the bar top and the bartender asked us to leave. Cool. We'll never be back and will tell everyone else not to go there. Oh and within 10 minutes of being there, a fight happened. Guess that should have been our first clue the place sucks. read more

They get two stars because the DJ they had in the second room was super great, but the other side of the place had some of the rudest bartenders. We won't be coming back here due to the service. Worst bar ever. I was punched by a bouncer for no reason and my jaw was broken. The bouncer lied and said I swung first when I never showed any signs of aggression. Luckily the store across the street had everything on surveillance showing me being hit for no reason and then the manager and another employee lying to the police to protect him. This bar is a corrupt place and the bar staff will lie to protect the bar and other employees if anything were to happen. I did nothing wrong this bouncer was just a hot tempered man named Francisco who through a punch at me for absolutely no reason. You can even see me asking Fransico why he hit me in the video. It was complete negligent hiring on Flanagans side and then there management lied to cover it up at the expense of the victim. To me this is the absolute worst kind of business and I have never been treated as poorly as I was at Flanagans. I would never wish anyone else go through what I have the last week and I hope none of you will put yourself in that situation by going to Flanagans. read more

Four stars for the many fun nights i have had with my friends. Hip-hop and rap from 90s, 2000s and current. Prices are super reasonable and the bartenders are always really friendly and do their best to greet and even shake your hand! This is not a 5star bar but definitely not a dump, you can come dressed up (cocktail/formal) or casual (jeans and tshirt) and you will still have a good time. As for the "throat" shot! read more
