First off, the food is good. If you want wings or a good burger, it's fine. The problem is management doesn't know how to staff the restaurant and keep people working. They will overwork a bartender while other staff go outside their section to bs/talk with local patrons.. so then you get a couple of overworked people and a bunch of upset customers. The staff is less than friendly unless you're a local and you're supplying to meet their need. Probably won't return, but they do have a couple of decent waitresses/bartenders. This place gets busy on a Thursday night with large groups and loud TVs, it's a hectic atmosphere. Service was fine and getting our order in wasn't a problem. I tried the blueberry lemonade and it's very sweet. Don't expect it to resemble real lemonade. The wings were as expected, fairly tasty and incrementally spicy. They sweet and honey BBQ are the only ones I could manage on the spicy scale. I tried a honey BBQ chicken salad which was very good. It had lots of lettuce, strips of chicken and lots of flavor. You can get the BBQ sauce on the side for the chicken as well as the ranch dressing on the side for the salad which is good if you don't want it smothered. The only thing I didn't like was that there were chopped bits of jalapeño I the salad which made for a couple of overwhelmingly spicy bites before I gave up on eating all of it. Worst wild wings around period, the last 5 attempts to eat here either takeout or dine in. The wait staff will bring the wrong drinks for refills. The wait staff will not put in your complete parties orders, the last 2 times we at in. And in a separate occasion my daughters order was wrong last week. You go to one Buffalo Wild Wings, you've pretty much been to them all. The food is about consistent at each location. I love their Asian Zyng sauce, it's the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I was in this location on Friday, July 1st. We met some friends here for dinner because the ladies can get Mojitos, the guys can grab some beers, and the kids can be with us as well. They focus mainly on their wings, but they have other items on the menu to appease people that want something different. I've been in this location multiple times over the years. It always seems busy. So the people in and around Galesburg must think they are doing something right. The bathrooms and dining area always appears clean and the service has been really good every time. We've never had to wait long and they keep coming around to check on us. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings is one of my favorite chicken places to eat at. My fiancée and I decided to eat here for lunch the other day. The service was awesome. Our waitress checked up on us quite a bit, was helpful with the menu, fully engaged, while helping 90% of the other tables as well. I can't remember her name but shout out to her! The food was eh. Half of the wings didn't even get covered in the sauce, to the point that our waitress was the one who actually noted it, and told us if it isn't enough then we can send it back. After waiting a while, we didn't really want to wait anymore and settled. But to me, you should never settle for 'eh' in your business. If you see a problem, fix it there. Don't tell your customers they can fix it if they want to. But that's just me. Will still eat here a lot! read more

I dined at Buffalo Wild Wings today and it was terrible! I ordered a Bloody Mary that was more mix than it was anything else which, was, DISGUSTING!! My boneless wings were so dry, they were like attempting to eat cardboard. Honestly, if I were given the option of negative stars, that is precisely what I would give. I get my food to go. The inside environment is a bit ridiculous if you aren't a sports fan. By sports fan, I mean major sports fan. You won't be able to have much conversation there. Yesterday we went to this buffalo wild wings and went to the bar while we waited for a table. It was a busy night due to homecoming but at the bar Lynch was incredible. We were at the bar for about 25 minutes and I went to double check on our table and they had crossed off our names so the woman who sat us (can't remember her name she was very sweet) apologized and got us a table. We sat at our table another 10 minutes before I got up to ask about our server because we still hadn't been greeted yet. That resulted in the manager, Geoff, personally apologizing, buying us a round of drinks and serving us for a good half hour before handing us off to our server. Jordan came over while Geoff was talking to us and apologized for the extra wait and continued to give us incredible service the rest of the night. Overall what started as a rough evening ended with all of us extremely happy with the service and definitely being repeat customers. We were going through some family struggles this weekend and Geoff, Lynch and Jordan all made our night and weekend a lot better. Lynch also came to our table to make sure we're were doing well toward the end of our meal and to apologize for how crazy the restaurant was. Wonderful people, wonderful service and enjoyed blowing off my diet as per usual. read more

The good thing about BWW is they are all the same with the same quality food. I was not disappointed with their food, but the service. It was sooooooooooo slow. Horrible service and management. Visited on 2/2/19 and the beer was hot and it took us 3 hours to get our food and be out the door!! This was 3 in the afternoon and it wasn't packed. Spoke to the manager and he apologized, but did nothing about it. Just went back to his office and let the staff do as they pleased. Bdubs is one of my favorite places to eat in town. I am a huge fan of hot wings, and usually, they get the job done. They have a lot of awesome appetizers, (I recommend the fried pickles) and delicious sauces for their wings, (my favorites are spicy garlic and the dry rub desert heat). Service typically isn't bad, but it's usually extremely loud inside. Also, depending on the day, I have had some very poor quality wings. The meat is sometimes hard, chewy, or fatty. Kind of hit and miss in that department, but overall it's a great place to eat! read more

The taste of BWW in Galesburg is the same as anywhere. The Caribbean Jerk is great. The service is good too, but..... 1) There is only 4 trivia devices on 3/22/2012 available. They had a lame excuse that the other 22 are out for servicing. 2) I have been to this location twice. Once in September 2011 to watch MLB playoffs. The folks working could not change a channel on any TV. I am talking 2 hours of sorry and just another minute and Jim-bob is coming back from break. Nothing. i watched the MLB Game day on my iphone instead. I busted a gut last night when i returned and asked to watch the Avs vs. Flames game. Guess what.... they couldn't change a channel. The excuse last night was that the mythical "box" was broken. I am thinking they just don't want to change the TV's. I created a Yelp account just to review this place! I've been to other BWWs before so I knew that walking in with a party of 12 on a UFC fight night would be tricky. Not to mention it was the town's high school homecoming night and there was a playoff baseball game. The original hostess told us she wasn't sure if she could get us in and would have to split up our party to separate tables (as I had expected), but then the manager came by and said that he could get us all in, it would just be a wait. We did have to wait over an hour, but we were all seated together at a big table and they even threw in 4 plates of nachos totally free! Our waitress was excellent as well. Went back to give the Galesburg BWW another chance- the manager called and offered a $50 gift card because of our last awful experience. We appreciated the apology and the attempt to make it right. This visit was the polar opposite of our previous trip. We were met at arrival and seated immediately. Our server was pleasant and prompt; she checked on us several times during our meal to see if we needed refills and if everything was good. Our appetizer of fried pickles arrived hot and tasty and our entrees were both good- my husband had the steak wrap and I had chicken fingers.
