Alex was our bartender and even during that time Vaughn was actively helping out all around. And then when Candace came over to take care of Alexs' bar, she was the absolute sweetest. I've been going to this place often for the cheese curds (always and forever after BJS took them off their menu. And she didn't ever take away the cash tip left for Alex, she was so lovely and kind. We came here last night to watch the game, and naturally it was packed -- like most game nights at Buffalo Wild Wings. As someone who works in high-volume events and hospitality, we always try to give service staff grace because most of the time the issue starts with management understaffing the floor. Servers get stretched thin, guests get overlooked, and the experience suffers. We even noticed multiple tables around us being ignored long enough that guests just left. I did see who I assume was a manager helping the bar catch up, but once that slowed down, I never saw her touch tables or support the overwhelmed servers on the floor. That said, we weren't expecting five-star dining service -- it's Buffalo Wild Wings. We just expected standard service. We got there around halftime and were initially seated at a long shared table with three guys at the other end. No one acknowledged us for quite a while, so we eventually moved ourselves to a high-top near the bar. A server finally noticed us, cleaned the table, and said she'd be back. She eventually returned and wiped the table down, but still no menus. She told us she'd come back, and when she finally did, we still had no menus, so we just ordered two beers to start. This is where the waiting really began. Again, we understood it was busy. We weren't upset at first. But after a long time passed with no beers, our server checked in and told us they were "still working on them." Fine. We could clearly see the bar was backed up a bit, so we kept waiting patiently. Still no menus. At one point we had to flag her down because she kept flying past our table while checking on others around us. We asked again for menus, and she said she'd bring them right back. She walked away and never returned. Eventually the guys at the original table we were seated at got tired of waiting and left entirely because they hadn't been helped either. We ended up grabbing the menus from their abandoned table ourselves because we'd been forgotten again. Later our server finally walked toward us with menus, and we basically had to rush our order in immediately because we genuinely didn't know when we'd see her again if she walked away. By this point, we still hadn't received the beers we ordered forever earlier. She again told us the beers were "still being worked on," but at that point we had been watching the bar long enough to know there were no pending beer tickets and the bar had already caught up. Meanwhile, multiple people who ordered after us had already gotten their drinks. It became pretty obvious the beers were likely never put in originally. Honestly, after a certain point the experience became almost laughable. Thankfully, another server named Larissa stepped in after we asked her for help because our server was essentially absent most of the night. Ironically, the only times our original server checked on us after that were after Larissa had already helped us. Every single thing we asked Joanna for never came back to the table. Larissa ended up following up on everything for the remainder of the night, including helping us close out our tab. Glad we were able to tip her separately, as she was fully deserving of the service tip. Taking on her tables plus pick up slack is a great employee to keep on. Waiting 45+ minutes for two draft beers during a busy night is one thing. But when it gets to the point where tables around you are also chasing down the same server, guests are walking out, and another server has to fully take over your table, it stops feeling like "busy night struggles" and starts feeling like certain tables are simply being ignored. And to be clear, this isn't a knock on the entire staff. We've had genuinely great service here before from other servers. We've also had average experiences. But this particular visit left a really bad impression, enough that I felt it was worth sharing. read more

Stopped in before fireworks and to watch fireworks. JORDAN and DANIEL were our awesome servers. I don't know why this place only has two stars. We were seated immediately at a single long table put together by a bunch of square high rise tables at the edge of the bar area. I see a lot of bad reviews about horrible service here but we had excellent prompt service all night long. Our drink orders were taken quickly and they all came out within five to ten minutes. Our food orders were then taken immediately afterwards and all of the food also came out in a very reasonable time with zero mistakes on orders. Somebody accidentally knocked over a beer on the table and our server was there quickly with extra napkins to help us clean up, and she brought a replacement beer shortly afterwards. Came to BWW with my son who was craving wings. There were only three other tables with guests. The place looked clean and spacious. Service was good but everything felt a bit rushed. Our food came out quick but as soon as I was done with my meal, the server came and took the place. The brought me another drink refill before I finished the first one and took the first drink. I asked for unsweetened tea and was told they did not have any although it was on the menu. The one thing that took me aback was that they asked for a credit card to put on file. I normally do this if I order something at the bar. It was not a problem but it just made my experience a bit unpleasant. If I could rate this location ZERO stars I would. Last week I visited the Lakewood Mall location with my son at 12:30 pm. I have photos to illustrate how empty the restaurant was, however, after waiting to be seated for 12 minutes without as much as a "nod"from a staff member - we decided to leave. When exiting I noticed a number on the door for the manager Kat Williamson, so I called from the parking lot. Imagine that...the INBOX was full. Seriously! The following day I called the location and left a detailed message for Kat with the employee that answered the phone. Zero response. I called the next day, just to be certain before I wrote this review. I've yet to receive a response, one full week later. I personally will not patronize restaurants with zero accountability! I'd rather spend my money in establishments that value their customers and want to provide stellar service. Sorry Kat, you have no business managing anything with those customer appreciation skills. Let's start with the fact I have been to a handful of this restaurant. However not this particular location. Was with my daughter and her friend and had to wait a few minutes until someone sat us but once someone became aware we were there the fun started. The nice man that showed us to our set was friendly and full of jokes. And after being seated there were three or four people that was attendees to our table. So for me this place based on food the staff an cleanliness it has to be one of the best I have ever visited. I like this chain and have been to many locations. When we came here I thought that it was closed because it looked empty. However it was open just not many people. The service wasn't great, but I was well aware of that so I won't mark a point off because of the service I mark a point offer multiple multiple reasons one of the reasons was because we were seated after another table that was there after us and honestly I'm not sure why because there were multiple tables and I understand that, even though servers may not be available, a group was served before us for no apparent reason, but I let that slide ( there was 2 of us and 3 of them. There where MANY tables and we still ended up getting seated at a table of 4. there happened to be a basketball game playing, and while we were there service was extremely poor, and it was hard for us to order, and when we finally received it, we ate it in a timely manner, but then they started blasting the AC when the game was over and we had no choice because we could not finish our food any faster nor could we have received our dessert any faster because of their service And when we finally received a dessert, they were blasting the AC to get everyone out of the space but we could not have done anything differently because the service was so poor that we had to wait until they started blasting the AC and mind you I was completely covered the only things that were visible where my hands and head ( I was wearing a sweatshirt, leggings, high socks, and tennis shoes) so that was extremely frustrating for me, but they still blasted the AC to the point where I was shaking. It was honestly frustrating because I wasn't trying to over extend my stay but I had no choice because of there poor service. read more
