I Visited Denny's in Lakewood for a quick meal after shopping on 05/07/26. The breakfast was good as well as the Boneless Buffalo Wings. The Creamy Mac n Cheese was not so good. I do not recommend it. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has good customer service, is very clean and has plenty of parking. The restaurant sits adjacent from Kohls. There is a Super Walmart across the street for shopping after enjoying a meal. I recommend this Denny's location. read more

Actually SO delicious, wasn't expecting this at all. I came super late at 1 am with a large group of friends and usually in these type of diners the workers are exhausted and just want to get things over with but the workers were friendly and quick to serve! The food is so good, the zesty nachos literally just like the Cheesecake Factory nachos but way cheaper. We waited 10 min for a server to be in the front , when I finally got the attention of someone, she told us that it would be a 30 min wait because they have ONE PARTY of 30 people, mind you that's literally the only party in the restaurant. I can understand if they would tell us that it will take a while we are seated to get us food but they legit just would have us wait in the front, make that make sense.... Just went in to have a breakfast it is a serious rip off - ordered an All American Slam (says are you hungry) for $17.99 it was smaller than a regular slam with panckakes for half the price - the hash browns were very small - 3 eggs, two bacon, two sausages - ordered gravy and biscuts on the side - - didnt get the toast, at least it would have been a filler - got one small biscut with no taste milk gravy (no sauage, nothing) just plain milk gravy had to add salt for some type of flavor - the hash browns looked like a kids meal! - So I paid ten extra bucks for one egg, and two pieces of sausage - it was disgusting for the price they charged and amount of food given - the coffe cups are so small two drinks and gone! - I have never been in a Dennys like this ever and will never go back to this location it is a rip off! I guess it's because it's a dinner that's available throughout the city, we take it for granted that they should provide acceptable service, food and ambiance that we have come to expect. Today was truly a wonderful experience, and it was all made possible by our server, Gloria L. Gloria took service to a level up and above what one would expect. Gloria never missed a beat. She made us feel like a true guest, sweet, funny, courteous. I really wanted this to go the other wY. We went there on a Saturday night around 10pm. The staff were great! We got a table and the hostess stayed a few extra minutes to talk. Everything was going well. We ordered food and it came hot. What could have gone wrong? The next day was miserable. I had such gastrointestinal distress. I thought it might have been something else. I ate the small amount of leftovers only to turn my distress into atomic diarrhea. It was a miserable Sunday. I feel a whole bunch better the next day. It seemed to pass as quick as it came. 2.5 stars max What can you really expect from Dennys? Dennys is always a good choice when it comes to having an actual meal at any hours during the day. Unfortunately with the pandemic, they changed their hours at this location from 6am-12 midnight. I have been using their app lately while ordering for curbside pickup. Today I had a rather annoying experience. I ordered my breakfast an hour before I got off my night shift at the hospital at 630am for it to be ready at 730am. By the time I got to this location, I called to let them know I was here for a curbside pick up and the guy who answered the phone said he was too busy to come outside and for me to come in and get it. So I thought my food would be ready at the counter for me if I walked in, however; no one was at the front counter to greet me with my food. This was annoying for multiple reasons. I had to wait to get the attention of someone to flag them down to get my food. I had to come inside when I have been in contact with covid patients all day. Yes I wore a mask and wore proper PPEs. But I'm still in the same scrubs and now I am outside in a business with them on before getting home and showering. That's why I wanted to do curbside cos it would've been contactless and they could've placed it in my backseat with no issues. When I got home, I noticed that there were no sauces, napkins, or utensils in the bag either. It's like when they don't do one thing, they continue to not do other things correctly. SLOWWWWW business! We walked in around 10:45 pm. There were a few seated parties, but no wait. Well, that is until the waitress/cashier closed out someone before us, which had issues, then answered 2 phone calls. Now, typically I wouldn't be annoyed, but wait for it. We were seated after a short wait. ALL but 2 tables (and now ours) cleared out. We hadn't even been asked our drink orders. It took a good 15 minutes before those orders were taken. We snuck in our food orders as we'd been waiting. Another 10 minutes before our drinks came out. And then another probably 20-30 minutes before our FOOD came out. We also had to wait longer for our queso, pancakes, and toast. Our omelette's veggies were hella over cooked and just gross at that point. Note their "American cheese" is SLICED CHEESE. Our steak was over well done when we ordered medium, so it was like chewing cardboard. My pancakes had not 1, but 2 hairs in them. It took another 20!! 20 damn minutes in a now empty restaurant for my pancakes! To top it off, we were charged for the replacement pancakes, and toast, that came with my meal. f*ck this place! Food's good but mobile ordering is horrible. My order was ready by 11:03am. I arrived around 11am. I waited til 11:15am at curbside pickup. I called and kept being told they are bringing my order. I have 2 little ones in the car so I didn't want to get out of the car. Eventually, I had to get out of the car and went inside. My order just sat on the counter. Nobody had any intention of bringing it out for me. There's no way to reach the store when I called. I keep getting the customer service rep taking the order who gave me empty promises.
