I haven't been here for over a year; probably because the service isn't the best and the wings were just ok. I did however receive an email this month with a "free snack size" wings for my birthday so I figured; why not? I called to order my free snack size wings for take-out and I explained the email I had received. He said he would need to speak to his manager and placed me on hold. Once he got back on the phone he explained that they have changed their sizing since then and also because it's their boneless Thursday night thing where wings are only $.55 cents; that I should save it for another day. I said that it needs to be used this month, and it's the 31st, I kept it to use on my actual birthday; which is today. He said, "well my manager said that it wouldn't be able to be used because they are only doing amounts of 20 and 25 because of the deal, so I can't use it." So I asked, so I can't use this voucher that was sent to me? He said, "Uh, yeah." I then said ok and hung up. My daughter has loved Asian Zing since she was 2, ever since we gave her a chicken wing in hopes for a filmable reaction and instead we got a naw-eating carnivore with a forever love for meat. I have always had a good service at this location, food comes as expected, and the noise level is just the right tone-deafening loudness as a sports bar should. They always let us sit on the patio even if it's technically "closed". I love coming in just to purchase a trio of sauces; I love that you can select any three of there many flavors. I used to thoroughly enjoy buffalo wild wings and felt that they were consistent in quality, until just recently. Like any other visit, I got some traditional wings with the original buffalo sauce to go. I was enjoying my meal from the comfort of my sofa, and had already devoured 9 of the 10 wings when my dreams were crushed and my trust was broken. It's been sad to see Bdubs steadily decline over the past few years. I was disappointed when they discontinued the huckleberry lemonade (with free refills, no less) a few years ago, but that was no biggie. Also, since the chain's acquisition a while back, things like alterations to the menu and doing away with Traditional Tuesdays have further disappointed me, as a customer. That said, those are more just corporate decisions that don't necessary have a bearing on this location's quality. Regarding this place nowadays though, it's a miracle if you can even get someone on the phone after several call attempts. Further still is the fact that they've had their online ordering disabled for a few weeks now, so you're forced to either sit down at the store or pray you'll actually reach someone on the phone. The problems they're facing likely stem from the huge staffing shortages inundating everywhere else, but it doesn't excuse poor service. The few times I've actually been able to get some food from here in the past couple months, it's been terrific. I'm a regular here, and I always enjoy what I get. That said, it's borderline impossible to get anything now, between the exhaustive wait times for in-person seating and the lack of takeout ordering options. Finally went here for a work meeting and it was just as blah as I had imagined. I got the 5 pc chicken tender and potato wedges. I splurged and got the fried chicken and almost immediately regretted it. Not sure if grilled chicken would have been better but the breaded chicken was heavy and caloric but flavorless. Not sure how they managed that. Compared to all the other fried chicken in the area, this was very underwhelming. I got a few sauces that added a little flavor to the mix, but it was still not great. As the six of us sat in the restaurant and ate our food that was brought over in 10min time spans for each person, so nobody ate together, when our sixth friend finally got a plate in front of her, it was quickly taken away because it was put there by mistake. In the meantime, we watched other people getting food, a whole set of employees coming out to sing birthday songs and also other guests trying to wave at the waiters and get their attention but nothing was happening. Our friend got her order as we were walking out, after we talked to the manager, 90 minutes after we were sat at our table. I'd say the first rule of good service is to bring the order to your customer, but it seems that doesn't apply to Buffalo Wild Wings in Lehi, UT. We came here for a family dinner at my son's request. Casey was our server and she did a great job, keeping our water refilled and getting us whatever we needed. We ordered lots of "wings," buffalo chips, and strawberry lemonade. The wings were good, and the sauces. We got boneless wings, which are actually white meat chicken. It was fun to try lots of different sauces. I think we got wings in six different sauces. My very favorite sauce is Parmesan garlic. You have to come to this place expecting it to be rough around the edges, but that is what they built this restaurant to be: rough around the edges. I honestly had a very pleasant experience, it's always on me for coming on a Thursday when it's the busiest ever, but our waiter did a great job at making sure we were never forgotten. Although it took quite a while to get our wings, they were delicious and I had wonderful company, so I didn't mind one bit. The $0.65 boneless wings are where it's at. I always get about 5 or 6 more (they're pretty good sizes too) so I can bring them home for lunch the next day, and I never leave without getting chips and salsa for an appetizer too. I always get a side of carrots for another $0.65 and as good as they are, I only get like 4 sticks and they're a little watery. I don't know, I have a love/hate relationship because I could just use that change to get another wing but it's also nice to have another little side dish. Your choice. I really want to give this review a 3.5 out of 5 stars but there isn't a button for that. We eat at this restaurant enough to make a decent review and here goes. Consistency is key here and a couple things you can count on being consistent are wing sizes are not consistent, the kitchen is hit or miss, and the service is consistently good, not excellent. With me you know I will not stray from the traditional wings and usually chipotle rub, jammin jalapeño, mango habanero, or the orange sauce. Warning, the mango habanero is DELICIOUS, but has heat. You just never know if you are getting small wings today or bigger wings and when the small ones come, Cornish hen sized, you feel ripped off a bit. However, we still go and love this place.
