Last night (Feb 9, 2026 around 9pm), my brother-in-law, a friend, and I came in from the cold after walking over from Topgolf. We had our IDs scanned and briefly used the restroom before heading to a table had to piss and wash our hands. A few minutes later, the staff abruptly told us we would not be served and had to leave without explanation. We sat there confused and were threatened with police involvement. Only after pressing for an answer were we told it was "suspicious" that we went straight to the restroom and were "touching our noses," implying drug use. It was 34 degrees outside we had just walked over, our noses were running, and one of us blew his nose. That was the entire "evidence." We were the only customers in the establishment, were polite, sober, and never given a chance to order food or drinks. Instead, we were followed, accused, and escorted out into the cold. Based on the way we were treated and consistent with other reviews about this place we feel we were racially discriminated. Both staff members involved were white; all three of us are Latin American U.S. citizens. For context, we are working professionals: I run a consulting agency, my friend manages business developers for a major company in Salt Lake City, and my brother-in-law is a registered nurse who supervises and trains other nurses. We came in to eat and talk, not to be accused of criminal behavior. Management should seriously review the conduct and judgment of the staff working that night. After a long day driving we unpacked at our hotel and wanted to go out somewhere. Found this place and decided to try it. Had some items from the happy hour menu. Arriving at the restaurant we waited at least 15 minutes until waitress(who didn't seem friendly and had a bad attitude and was rude) came to our table. We ordered and after waiting almost 45 minutes, and another table who had came in after us, was served and finished before we received one persons order while the other two were still waiting for our orders. Waitress came 15 minutes after the first order was delivered and said our orders would be out soon. After waiting another twenty minutes and didn't receive our orders, we asked to see the manager who never showed up and we got up, paid for our drinks and left. The worst dining experience I've had. The slowest bar service I have ever seen. Been there 3 different times and takes over 10 minutes to get a beer. Maybe if the bartender stopped talking to locals then he could provide faster service. Once is OK but now it's been like that every time. Food is just ok. read more

Quiet, friendly, and efficient. It's just what you expect at any of the bout times except for the "quiet piece" which is more about location than anything. I was there for about 2 hours on a Thursday night at 5pm and maybe 10 people including the staff were there throughout that time. So I stumbled upon this Sports Bar in the Provo area. It's pretty inviting and has like 30 tv screens with all types of sports playing! There is a full bar and a wide selection of Brews on Tap! The menu is pretty cool however they were out of three different things tonight. The bartender stayed busy but wasn't much for conversation. Got into Orem late, there weren't very many places open. We were very thankful for the outdoor seating area, the music inside was way too loud for my 80+ year old parents. They were ecstatic to be carded at the door. The portions are big. Dad and I enjoyed the Po'Boy sandwich. Mom enjoyed the tacos. My husband enjoyed his burger. My second time there and Ashley, the waitress came off nice. But after ordering food and a couple of drinks refused to serve us. This is the second time she's done this to us. I've been wanting to try 'Bout Time for ages but it's a BAR and I always have kids with me. Finally made it out without kids and I was STOKED to try 'Bout Time.... Until I realized I didn't have my ID. DUH! Luckily the guy at the front knew I was over 21 and let me in. (Looks like I need to be more vigilant with my skin care routine!) We ordered the Monte Cristo egg rolls and just WOW. Un. Real. Unlike anything we've ever had - we'd come back for these alone!! We also tried a grilled chicken sandwich and a jalapeño popper burger. This place should be shut down. They employee racist staff. I came to eat here because my group wanted to and I was out numbered. Some time ago my brother-in-law was mistreated by the bars security and it seemed very racially motivated. The security was extremely rude, unprofessional, and aggressive toward my brother-in-law and his friend, both Polynesian men. One of the best options near the Megaplex theater. The place is wrapped all around in large television screens for a plethora of viewing options. Hey, you can watch multiple games and programs at once!! Friendly atmosphere and wonderful service with a full bar, tap beer, and craft beers. Great grub to choose from unique and traditional burgers, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, and more. We loved the burgers and nachos I want to try more things, so we'll be back soon. read more

Need to train staff how to read IDs. Walked in and was not allowed to be in the establishment because they could not understand my state issued driver license from Nevada, Had the same issue last year at Bout Time in Lehi but thankfully had my passport with, this time I did not. Never happens anywhere else I go. Thought it was just a one off last year but now the second time this has happened. I am 52 years old and was treated like I was a teenager trying to buy a drink. Stupidest thing I have ever encountered in my life and now happened twice both at Bout Time, no other establishments have ever questioned my legal stated issued driver license before. Great sports bar with everything you could want to watch and then some. Good service on a pretty consistent basis. I've been enough times that there have been a few hiccups, but it happens. The beer selection is a lot of fun given the constraints of the state, and the mixed drinks are enjoyable and of a wide variety. The food is bog-standard pub grub. It's good. I like it. Decent spot to catch a game. Plenty of room for a big group. Located near top golf. So when they kick you out from there, come on down!! I ordered the grand slam, it's a platter of majority of their apps. I did substitute the fried pickles for onion rings. It was tasty. It's located in a busy plaza. Parking can be a bit of a problem. We attempted to come here one weekend night, a UFC fight was on and the wait was lonnnng. Not their fault but beware before going. We actually chose another place that night. Came back on a Friday for lunch. They have some interesting drink options and a lot of lemonade flavors. For staters, this place is 21+ only and as a parent to young children it was a blessing to have a child free place to go. It is a sports bar, but not the kind where they blast the sound and make you feel like your eardrums will explode. Before going, I couldn't find a drink menu anywhere so I wasn't sure what to expect, but holy the drink menu was huge! They offer shots, cocktails, beers on tap, and a lot of options for each! Everything I tried was awesome too! I started with a Vegas Bomb, then per the waitresses recommendation, I had a Peach Mule, and a Scooby Snack made into a cocktail. Seriously were so good, I don't think I've ever had a cocktail with whipped cream, and I just feel like I've been missing out! The food was pretty awesome also! I had the Irish Nachos and the Pretzel. In my opinion the nachos could have had more toppings definitely more ranch and bacon, but I also strive to have a topping on every chip. The pretzel was huge and wasn't too doughy or too hard, but some parts I felt like I was eating a mini salt mine because it was so salty. For the most part it was pretty evenly distributed though! The waitress was so nice and had a lot of great recommendations for everyone. We were there for a while (probably around 4 hours combined) as part of our party came early to watch some fights and she was our waitress the whole time. This place was a really fun way to spend a late Sunday afternoon when it felt like a lot of other places were shut down. March madness was going on and there were layers of tvs from every angle. We watched a little of two college basketball games plus there was some baseball that came on part of the way through. And with so many screens you don't feel bad asking to change one tv to a different game as long as it's not in front of someone actively watching. By far the worst bar I've been to in Utah. The food was good, same with the drinks, but the service was awful. Ashley was not only slow but was also extremely rude. From the moment we walked in she greeted us coldly and told us to sit wherever. She was very off putting as she took our order. I got the fish and chips. When it came I asked her if it was supposed to come with French fries because usually that's how it's served. She responded with "it's called fish and chips what do you think". Then she asked if getting free fries would make me happy. All while staring coldly at me like she was wishing me dead. She could've just answered my question but instead she decided to be rude and confrontational. This place was pretty cool! The inside is well decorated and totally would be a cool place for sports watching. The staff was very friendly and greeted me the second I walked in. The food was delicious! It was also a lot of food too! I split the Garlic and BABB burger with one of my friends. The Garlic burger was great and flavorful. It was also fresh and light tasting from the fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The pickles were even good and I'm not a big pickle fan. The BABB burger was totally amazing and very hearty and savory. This one would totally make you feel like you are a whole cow or something lol. They're is just that much goodness on it. The Garlic Cheesy Fries and Onion Rings were delicious as well and tasted great with the fry sauce. However, I would recommend to get them with no season salt if possible. It was just too much. Are server was also great too! So why the 3 starts? Unfortunately, there was just a very unpleasant smell in the place that made it hard to enjoy being there. I'm not sure if it was all the different alcohol or if they cleaned with a dirty towel (which in sure they don't), but that's kinda what it smelled like. Came here on a Friday night and the service was great! Walked right in, sat right down, and waited about 5 min to get our food after we ordered. My husband loved the wings and has gotten them multiple times. The French dip was ok.
