The smash burger was as advertised crispy edges and a fresh soft bun, delicious. However the rest of the meal was edible but didn't live up to the hype. The fries were warm and soggy. Not horrible soggy just the I've been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes soggy. The shakes were good except they had ice crystals. The little chunks of ice you get when quality ice cream melts and refreezes. Certainly not worth the premium pricing. We will give them another try but I will be awhile. read more

I downloaded their app and placed an order because of the advertised promotion of 20% off your first app order. Sadly, it was a bait and switch where instead of 20% off, I was offered a free side. I'm not a fan of French fries, but I added them to the order anyway. Not surprisingly, I do not like the taste of their French fries and neither did my family. I emailed about the promotion switch and, after a month, I was told "sorry, we forgot to change the webpage" with no offer to honor the stated promotion because I accepted the free French fries that were terrible. I've heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try for dinner. We went in on a Saturday night around 6 and they weren't too busy. When you walk in you place your order, take a number and they bring out your food. They have fry sauce, ketchup, and hickory sauce which is like a smokey tasting fry sauce right next to the drink machine. I love that they have their sauces out so you don't have to bug anyone for extra sauces! Our food came out pretty fast, it was hot, fresh, and our order was accurate. The burger I got (I'm so blue) was so delicious! The fries are homemade you can tell they are fresh and not frozen, these were also delicious. We will definitely be coming back! read more

We had been once to TonyBurgers -- the South Jordan Location. It was great, food was great, cleanliness of the seating area not so much-- but it wasn't bad enough that you shouldn't go there. The food was very good so we decided to try their new location in Herriman. We each a got Small -- build your own--Tony. I got onion straws, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, and garlic aioli on the side. We also shared an order of large fries. Again-- terrific food! Also, this place had a Cleaning Wipes tub near where your order so you can clean off your table. (Other location had the tub in plain sight too but was out of wipes). I don't mind cleaning our ourselves-- just to be sure it was wiped down properly. After All...we do have COVID running amuck these days so I'm grateful that they offered wipes. So why did I only give it 4 stars? It pains me to say it was due to the person/ cashier up front who took our order. She was the main person we saw. She is right there as soon as we enter. But she was hard of hearing and did not act at all happy to be there-- her tone was definitely what you would describe as friendly. When I ordered she asked me to repeat myself several times... and I am not a soft spoken person. She wasn't even nice about it by saying "excuse me or can you repeat that". She just kept rudely asking WHAT?? She did not know how to instruct the staff cooking that I wanted "garlic aioli on the side" for my burger -- seemed frustrated she didn't see that option on the screen she was imputing our orders in. My husband went next and after he was done I told her I forgot to add tomatoes on mine. She genuinely looked exasperated when I said that! I was shocked when she said-- "do you really want it ? (Gave a Big sigh) because I'll have to do the whole thing over again!" With that kind of a response of course I told her "no it's ok then" since she seemed like it would have killed her to have to figure out how to add it. She then said I'll just tell them u want it. I paid and sat down. Yes-- my burger came out definitely with no tomatoes which was NO SURPRISE, but the young lady who brought out our food was nice enough to being me some when I asked her at the table. By the way-- don't forget to ask for Extra anything for your burger! I noticed I had very lil mushrooms and asked for more and she quickly brought them out to me. Not worth trying. I had never heard of Tonyburgers before and decided to try it for dinner. We got the Ol' Reliable (classic hamburger), the Tony's Southern (spicy BBQ burger), and a regular fry. The classic was okay, just a standard burger like the name. Nothing wrong with it but nothing great about it either. Simply average. The Tony's Southern was actually terrible because the burger was burned to a crisp. It honestly just tasted like gristle. The fries were also slightly burned (very dark brown) and very salty. I don't think id come back to this restaurant when there are so many better burger places around. One recommendation is to not smash the living crap out of the burger patty, even if it is your gimmick. I saw the guys lay one spatula on the burger patty and pound it down with the handle of another spatula, then take an iron and further flatten the burger. This makes it hard to keep moisture in the patty and also makes it super easy to over cook, like what happened to my tony's southern. Just think about it, if you burn both sides of an already thin patty, there is only a micro thin layer in the middle that is actually edible but you wont be able to tell that its their because of two burnt sides. With such a thin patty, it only needs 1 minute or so on each side. read more

I've had great service and food at Tonyburgers, but the Herriman location is not worth the stop. I ordered four (4) burgers, and three (3) of the four (4) burgers were wrong. The ingredients were all mixed up, and by the time I got the order it was cold. The employees were more interested in talking to each other rather than serving their customers. All the tables were dirty too. Management really needs to clean house here and start fresh with employees that care about the customer. read more
