I've recently started to do Newark De reviews since I got a new job down this way. Today was my first visit to Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar and I think I can sum it all up in one familiar phrase: You get what you pay for. Having visited them during lunch on a Thursday I availed myself of their 5 for $3 boneless wings. There are over 15 different ways they can prepare your wings and there is a reason for that. The boneless wings are prepared first, LATER spiced which makes a difference because you could taste the rubber texture of just how long those boneless wings sat under a heating lamp. Desert Heat = rubbery chicken with a simple cyane pepper and chillie based rub with too much salt. Mediocre combination at best. I followed this up by the cheese burger sliders, a lunch menu item, which didn't really improve things. See the meat was definitely from some sort of frozen, pressed and fried source.. all flavor having left before the actual process of cooking occurred. The onion rings tasted faintly of dish soap. I rarely pan a restaurant this badly but Buffalo Wild Wings earned it. Final bill $14.56... and I got what I paid for. This is a place where they have cut corners to the point of destroying their food. They even use their own Ketchup instead of Heinz, that's so un-American you might as well hand out pamphlets and erect a statue of Lenin in the parking lot. Any good points? Beer on tap, lots of selection, but nothing super cool. read more

This is a great place to go to with a bunch of friends, order a massive amount of food, and just have a good time. They have roomy booths but blast the AC a little too much (probably good with its crowded though). The service is good and people are friendly. The food is delicious. Came here specifically to watch the MD/MI game on the BigTen Network. The restaurant is half empty we ask if they can put one of the TVs on that channel and the hostess says no. Nice customer service-they also go rid of the TVs at the booths I guess so they can sell you one of those game pads. The quality of the food has also not been great on prior visits. This was my final try. read more

I was a bit disappointed in the wings. Instead of being crisp and freshly cooked, they seemed like they were precooked and then the sauce was slathered on the wings. The Thai salad was extremely hot and almost inedible. The manager and waiter were very friendly and accommodating. The wings were awful at best. I got 20 wings, of 4 different flavors. The wings were dry and grey. They had hardly any meat on them and almost no sauce. Definiteley not a fan of this wild wings locations. Service was less than mediocre. I've been there a few times, and they haven't disappointed me yet. They have a good selection of sauces whether you like traditional, sweet, or spicy wings. Their wings were dry AF. This is always the case when it's take out. Every time I think it will be different but it's not. I even traveled out in an ice storm because I really wanted some wings but I immediately regretted my decision as soon as one of the boneless wings just about broke my tooth. They weren't even busy. The carrots and ranch were a safe bet. I suggest ordering from Wings to Go on Main Street. However, the wings aren't nearly as terrible if you eat in but you'll most likely have to wait 45 mins. I'm giving 5 stars because our server, Brice, was wonderful!! He greeted us immediately with a smile and made us feel welcome. He fulfilled every request quickly and efficiently. We didn't even have to ask for refills on soda because Brice brought us a fresh glass before we were done the first one. We had everything we needed on the table before our food came so we were able to just dig in and enjoy. The food was hot and fresh. Sometimes a good place to stop for a quick lunch - the lunch specials are reasonably priced, and sometimes are quick. Not always. If you care about the time, make sure your server knows, and write down the time you order! Disappointed this evening - thought I'd stop in for a quick single Buffalito & salad. Used to do that all the time at the BWW where I used to live in Iowa City. But no, told that the only option was to get 2 Buffalitos. Sadly, I can't eat that much at a sitting. So off I go elsewhere. I'd welcome hearing that the manager was simply wrong. If not, guess I'll limit my visits to lunchtime, when I can get what I want and pay less. read more

Utterly unimpressed. Our waitress was both disinterested in our order, and seemingly incapable of getting it right. We ordered 4 different flavors of wings, only two of which we ever received, one of which was so overlooked they were like leather. Every time I go to Buffalo Wild Wings I always enjoy it. This is by far one of my favorite establishments to go to for wings. I need to do a shoutout to the waiter I just had, Chris Miller. I thank you for showing me the lunch specials menu. Every time I have come here for lunch nobody has ever offered me that menu. The wings are cheaper and you are getting more bang for your buck. I come here for lunch frequently and I am glad Chris showed me the lunch specials. I would give this place a fiver star, but when I was walking into the building an employee was in front of me walking into the building and didn't attempt to hold the door for me. Had a nice time here. I've been to the other BBWs in the area over the last few years and so far this one is my favorite! My friend and I ordered traditional wings, cooked perfectly! He got a mix of really spicy sauces (Chipotle, Asian Zing, forgot the others :c) and I just got Teriyaki and regular Mild. Overall, good wings. Prices are a bit high for me but that's corporate's problem! Hannah was our server and she was the best! Definitely ask for her if she's around!~ I like going in the middle of the week because there are less crowds usually, unless you're headed in for lunch specials. I love getting BWW for lunch! But i hate getting my order wrong! I ordered 15 boneless and paid for 15 boneless wings and only had 10 in my box! This isn't right! Terrible. Had to call twice to confirm my order. I simply stated over the phone that I wanted two snack sizes on Tuesday for the bogo deal. One Parmesan garlic and one mango habanero... they made me two SMALLS and just the garlic wings. Too bad I had to go to work right after so I sadly paid full price for a messed up order after. BWW used to be pretty good. The last time my husband and I ordered there, which was about a week ago, we decided to get it to go. My order was chicken strips, and he asked for a side of honey bbq sauce and mayonnaise. When he got home, neither sauce was included. I was disappointed, because the strips were really dry and crunchy. There was no flavor to them at all. I don't know what has changed, but what I had was definetely not representative of their style at all. Great place to watch a Phillies or Eagles game and eat some good wings. I think their wings are better than Hooters- but Hooters has better fries, fried pickles, and desserts. I still like Wild Wings better overall. I also like the atmosphere of BWW- with UD posters and jerseys. I do like the location of the Limestone one better though (as parking here is a nightmare) but I would say that if you're a UD student, this is the best place to get wings within walking distance of the dorms. read more

This was my first time at the chain I was in from Boston for wedding. When I stepped in on 8/16/14 this place was almost completely empty the bar tender was right on me for a beer which came very quick I had to look over the menu since I hadn't been there before. I ordered a standard 12 piece wing it then took 40 minutes for my food to get to me by the time I got them they were like warm and the buffalo sauce had coagulated and hardened on the wings they weren't the best either very fatty. We go here to watch the UFC fights. We love the food and service. This location actually offers football betting; I guess they obtained a license through the state. So during football season, we go here to place our bets on the spreads and have a bite to eat. If you go on a Sunday for a game or Saturday to watch a fight, be sure to get there early to get a seat. Very hit or miss. They've messed up my order a bunch of times. I'm sure giving back messed up wings to get new ones is protocol, but when I have to drive back there while my other food at home is getting cold, it would be nice if they could see the messed up wings and let you keep them because they are most likely throwing them out anyway. The wings are very small, especially for the price, and sometimes insanely greasy. The food can take a while even if you call ahead of time. The menu beyond wings and fries is very limited to someone who doesn't eat gluten and dairy. read more
