We did not have a good experience at all. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. Our food wasn't hot when it finally came out. Some of our food was good. We had a HUGE order of loaded fries. The fries were FANTASTIC! The burgers were nothing special. Just burgers. Our waitress was terrible. When she finally brought out our food, she had food on her mouth. That's just gross and unprofessional. I completely understand having to take a break, but give us an update. Walk in and the energy goes up a notch ...Nifty Fifty's is not for hushed conversationalists it's all about quality fast food fun! I had not had a milkshake in ages and there were so many incredible choices. Before deciding I watched one of the workers pouring milk into the milkshake machine ... a very good sign. Our server was smiling ...had a non stop smile, another good sign and she advised us to go small on the fries (We had debated one large for the two of us but right after she said go small a server walked by with a large fry order ...it could feed six of me! Good advice from the server ... another good sign!). They also have "the world's largest soda machine." I doubt it's the world's largest but it allows for some really creative drink choices! The food came out fast, hot, and everything was delicious. They have dozens of milkshake flavors and all are worth trying! My wife and I ate there tonight, the food wasn't bad. I had mushroom and swiss cheesesteak, it had alot of steak on it. My i've had a county with chili and cheese. She said it was pretty good. For dessert, she had a cinnamon roll. Milkshake, she said it was a little bit to rich for her taste, but it was still good. I had some, I thought it was pretty good also. It is a great atmosphere. I ordered a chicken Caesar sandwich, and a cheeseburger for later. I'll preface this by saying I have been here multiple times and really like their burgers. The chicken Caesar was extremely salty. I would also say most places that are selling "steak" sandwiches would cut it in half if is 8+ inches big. So I took a couple of bites and gave up on it. I was happy I still had the burger. I added hot peppers to the burger when I ordered it through the app. I assumed they would be the type of pepper a person would put on a burger like a cherry pepper, but unfortunately it was banana peppers. This was my first time here, the place was very clean and decorated well. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger and my wife got the cheesesteak. Our server Eli was awesome! I've never been to Nifty Fiftys even when I lived in Pennsylvania. Went at around 8pm. Place was cute and fun looking. It was pretty busy. The busses was still cleaning our table. Waiter was attentive and helpful. The entries do not come with fries. So we ordered appetizers. Cheese fries - standard taste like cheese fries 4/5 Onion rings - great size and great taste. Good crisp. 5/5 Honey grilled chicken sandwich - This was pretty good, chicken was juicy and well seasoned, we added the onions. 4/5 Mushroom swiss double burger. - I think this could've been better tasted pretty plane. 3/5 Peanut butter kandykake milkshake - pretty good as someone who doesn't like peanut butter 5/5 Peach cobbler pie milkshake - also very good, you taste the pie crust and peaches. Thick very thick and if they don't blend it well your straw will get stuck. Had to eat this milkshake with a spoon but it was good 5/5 This place shines best for the soda and the milkshakes. I am to understand this is a chain restaurant? I was not aware of that and thought this was the only location. I have made 2 stops here at this location, when it first opened and then again a couple weeks later. Unfortunately both times they did not seem to have their kitchen stock ordering down correctly. Both visits they were out of a lot of their menu items. Additionally, the milkshake machine was broken, which is one of their major drawls to the restaurant.. I can't actually have milkshakes so it wasn't that big of a deal for me personally, but I could understand how it would be for others. They have a large selection of homemade French fries for you to try, steak sandwiches, burgers, and chicken.. The place was full and very busy both times I went. The staff was nice and attentive, and my burger was made well. The restaurant was bright and colorful and definitely had a 50s vibe.. I hope overtime they continue to work out the small kinks in their business and continue to improve. It definitely was not a major negative for me and I will be back for another try! read more

I honestly didn't like the food at all. The prices are very high for the amount and portion size you get. The burger was completely tasteless, and the bun was soggy and shaggy. They charged over $5 for just two tiny pieces of chicken fingers, which is ridiculous. The onion rings were okay, but that was the only decent item. This is supposed to be a grab-and-go fast-food type place, yet we had to wait for a host to be seated, and the waiter service was unnecessary. It doesn't make sense to have full service for this kind of setup, especially when it's not even a proper restaurant experience. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night. We were immediately asked if we would be ordering only milkshakes or food too. The workers were obviously annoyed when we said food. We ordered and were charged for soda on accident and when pointed out it was ignored. We watched the girl at the counter hear the phone ring and said NOPE and immediately hung up on the person calling. It was good, I like the aluminum/plastic take-out cups they give out. Straws weren't the best given the insanely thick consistency of the milkshake. I recommend getting a spoon, just in case. I had one in PA that was much juicier, but since I tried it here during the first week they opened, I want to believe they were still fine-tuning it. The milkshakes are just as amazing as PA's they are rich, flavorful, and always delicious. I usually can't resist ordering one, and today was the first time I didn't.
