food is cold, off temp and a real food risk. imo. however i have a very close friend who is a millionaire and he eats there 3to 4 times a month. and hes never gotten sick. i dont take the chance and when in duncan i eat from the chinese food menu at kyoto. if at kyoto tho, ask for chinese menu otherwise they push the more expensive jap anese food. read more

Honestly probably the best Chinese American buffets I've ever been too! Only suggestion I could say is they need to label what each dish is so you know what's inside the "glazed, fried, mystery nugget", but even those were DELICIOUS! Wish I lived closer! We have visited here several times, and it's hit or miss. Unfortunately, this time, it was a big miss. We arrived at 5:30, and it seemed like we were getting the end of lunch leftovers. The majority of the food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting on the steam tables for an extended timeframe. When fresh items were brought out, you could see the nasty discolored leftovers placed on top of the fresh offerings. From the good experienced meals in the past, Sunday is the day that seems to be the most reliable day for a better meal. Service was okay, but the establishment needs a deep cleaning. read more

Price here is the draw, lots of buffet items especially Sundays. Now the taste, from the beginning of one end of the food line to the end it all taste the same, it has no differential taste. It all taste like the rice. Its a no return policy for me. read more

Ok so 9 months pregnant and been craving Chinese food since I left California. Since I seen alot of good reviews for buffet king I decided to try it out. Unfortunately major let down. Rice was dry and old tasting, ordered orange chicken general tso chicken and honey chicken and honestly they all tasted the same no difference in flavor. Now the crab ragoons we're good huge and yummy just kinda sweet. Egg rolls were mushy inside and out. Now the biggest disappointment was the so called chow mein. Every time I've had chow mein it's a noodle dish except this crap here in Duncan. Instead of of chow mein I got this crap see pic. Will not be ordering again. read more

This restaurant is an atypical layout of most Chinese buffets. However the menu items are short and lacking. Two counter of food is almost all fried. The restaurants food in the buffet also locks being kept at a proper temp the food that was left over that was old or empty was tossed in with the fresh food the old food was not removed from the bins the bins were not removed to be cleaned or washed. The entire buffet screams bacteria as the food is not kept at high enough of a temperature and that the bins are not being washed in between refilling also screams health code violations. I also observed several other health code violations including standing food and unclean areas the food was lousy overcooked or undercooked and several dishes were simply fried Chicken tossed in sauce I do not recommend duncanites to eat at this establishment. Finally for the price you have to pay which cost me $10.64 for lunch for two plates of the worst food I've eaten in the southern part of Oklahoma. read more

If you've never been to a Chinese restaurant, this place will not disappoint. If you have a picture in your mind of what a Chinese restaurant would be like in Duncan, Oklahoma, this place will not disappoint. It's not good. It's not bad. It just is. The selection is better than it could be but not as good as it should be. It does what it does with a basic sort of adequacy. If it fails, it fails at what is pretty much what a Chinese restaurant does by default - rice dishes. There are no rice noodles and the fried rice is only technically rice. It's dry, undercooked, and yet at the same time, mushy and bland. It's as if they decided that no one in Duncan would really be able to tell the difference and they turned out to be correct. In the end, it's okay. I guess. It's not as bad as some places I've been but that's kind of damning with faint praise at this point. And at $10 a plate, it should really have been better. read more

The sign on the door in big bold letters says "NO MASK! NO SERVICE!" Some will find that offensive and some will be ok with it. The food is average. The selection is average. The deserts were outstanding. Pecan pie and Chocolate mousse were the highlight of an otherwise average meal. read more

There was a great selection of seafood, chicken, vegetables, sauces, and sushi, even better than my favorite Chinese buffet in the Austin TX area, The tables were clean and the staff was friendly. I'll definitely eat here again the next time I'm in town. read more

I will say the service was fairly good but that's all I can say favorable. When we first walked in there was a terrible stench in the foyer from the fish pond. That thing desperately needs to be cleaned. As for the food, it was cold. I could see steam rising from the steam tables but the food was cold. We were so very disappointed. read more

Have been there 3 times at different times on different days but the result is still the same.The food is totally cold, not even slightly heated.The last 2 times my husband felt sick afterwards.This time I tried one piece of chicken from 4 different dishes.After trying two of them which had the same strange/off taste I had to stop because it tasted more like it was being served PAST the safe date-thats the only way to describe it. When you look at how they seem to be cutting corners by not keeping the food even halfway warm- it makes sense.I didnt try any more dishes with meat after that-wasnt worth getting food poisoning over.Won't be going back again. read more
