We eat here regularly. I actually think their good has gotten better. I like that you can order it as spicy as you like. I order Hunan chicken quite a bit and ask for a little extra spice. I cannot handle it extra hot. At one time I could but not now. I also think they have some of the best egg rolls in town. They are usually crispy. This is our go-to for Chinese. It's not too far away, has decent food, owned by locals who work hard so I like to support them. If you order drinks, their sweet tea is the best. It's nice to sit down in or to go through the drive-thru. Just be aware, sometimes at lunch you are going to be busy. For as many people who complain on here, you would think the food is awful. If I served awful food, I doubt lunch would be standing in line inside or backed up in the car lane outside. Just saying. Don't expect five-star food from a fast food restaurant. 2026: Has really gone downhill in quality of food. Taste like minimal use of aromatics used so any dishes stir fried in a soy sauce base, taste as if it was stir fried in soy sauce only. Chicken in Garlic Sauce is very bland with no garlic/ginger flavor. Have even received Sweet & Sour Chicken so hard & dry it tastes like they refried old leftover chicken pieces. End up throwing away food even though I've waited months before trying them again hoping they've gone back to the quality food they used to make. Have never seen improvement. read more

China walk has one of the most disrespectful counter clerks. I have ever been to in my 66 years of life she made us pick the changes up off the counter and directly hand it to her before she would accept it. These are entirely different noodles; Lo Mein is a fatter, chewier, bouncy noodle that soaks up sauce and flavors. Sept. 2, 2023: Drive Thru Dinner Order of Mild Chicken with Garlic Sauce with EXTRA Vegetables. The brown sauce had little more than a water taste with no garlic flavor. My luck of getting a cook who did not know how to adjust ingredients to compensate for all the extra cabbage added which watered down the sauce so it had no taste. Paid $2 extra for the extra vegetables but what they did was reduce the quantity of chicken used in total order to make room for the extra vegetables and charged $2 for the exchange (total meal size was SMALLER than normal and cost $2 more). I usually eat there at least once a month. Tonight I went there and ordered $35 worth of stuff . I ordered hot and spicy chicken mild it was to hot couldn't eat it! Ordered garlic shrimp got something with cabbage and carrots and very hot again told them all my food to be very mild. Ordered egg drop soup left and looked and no soup! I came here only because my friend raves about it. I know she only gets one particular dish that I wasn't interested in, but I thought I would give them a shot. The first thing I noticed was the number of meth heads hanging out. The second thing was this has to be the smallest menu I have ever seen a Chinese restaurant to have. They didn't have my favorite dish, so I went for a variety; fried wonton, crab rangoon, wonton soup and fried rice. Food was ready fast and the serving size for fried rice was HUGE. The flavor of the wonton broth was good. That is where the pros end. The friend wonton was crazy salty, the rangoon tasted very odd, both were borderline burned and the fried rice had no flavor. read more

This place is near to my heart as it is in my hometown. The service for the most part can be hit or miss, but I come for one item only. The hot and spicy chicken haunts my dreams as I can't get over the delicious flavor. The texture is crispy but not chewy. Bring cash. I'm assuming all the people posting, "best Ive ever had" have never left Lawton before. I drove by this place and decided I need to try it. I called in an order and they asked when I could be there. I told them 5-10 mins. I get there to find out its cash only, go a block over, get cash then come back. In that time apparently I had been gone too long and they gave my food away. Not only that the staff was very rude. I told myself the only way I would go back is if the food truly was "best I've ever had". Sadly enough, it fell way short. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, just not great. They make your food to order & it does taste a little more fresh than some other chinese places however, I would definitely opt out to picking Panda Express over this location since their beef & Broccoli is VERY breaded & I felt sick after eating it. China Wok has my all-time favorite dish that I would have as a last meal: Hot and Spicy Chicken! I've had a lot of Chinese food in my time but I've never had a dish that is quite like this. The chicken is caramelized and slightly crunchy with some sweet and hot spicy flavors. I have had this dish at least 200-300 times since I moved to Lawton in 2002. I no longer live close to the restaurant but I have to drop by at least once every two weeks to get my fix! I've had most of the other dishes and they are very good as well in my opinion.
