To boot, their customer service is terrible and due to an error on their own payment system they sent a $100 bill to collections (thankfully I resolved it after days of waiting for a response). When I emailed to cancel my quarterly service I got a very straightforward response, they didn't even attempt to correct the problem or at the very least understand why I was cancelling. Do not use them. If you don't believe me, read the other reviews. I went with another local company for half the price and they have actually made it a point to understand and treat the problem.

I have spoken with the national call center, the office in Salisbury, the sales person for the area, and area technicians. They all left me with a bad impression of the company. They need better training and they continuously remind customers of how long they have been in the business. That is just a number if it is not followed up with knowledge, expertise, and quality customer service. It is hard to get someone to answer calls at this location - let alone receive a call back. If you have an issue and request a manager - there is silence on the other end from ORKIN. You have a choice when it comes to your home and it shouldn't be ORKIN - not based off my experiences. They bait and switch the pricing (how is the price different within 24 hours). This is not behavior of a reputable company. Find somebody else to do it!

He had to replace a few heads and dug the yard up in such a way that you would never know he dug the grass around them. My only complaint is the schedule process. I asked the customer service person if they could give me a day they would be here. She was very friendly and explained she could not since they were so busy but that I was on the call ahead list. (I wanted to make sure I was home so I could ask questions about setting up the controller) I called again the next day to inquire again if they had a rough idea when they would be here. Again she said she could not but they had me as call ahead......see where this is going? Sure enough 9:30 ish Monday morning here comes Juan pulling up in front of my house.
