This company is not able to provide home repairs and construction even though their yelp profile says they can and I even specifically asked him when describing the work I needed done. He delayed my project three times and on the third delay he asked me to pay for the project in full upfront after stating half before to pay for materials and labor and the remaining balance after the job was completed. When I asked for a refund it took him three days and he didn't even refund the full amount minus the materials he had already purchased. I would not trust this company nor would I recommend this company for any work that their help profile states they can do. I thought that I had an issue with birds making their nests in my attic so I called Gaynor on Thursday evening. He came by the next day, early and ready. He quickly diagnosed the problem that it was squirrels not birds AND they found 2 ways to get in. He quickly closed both openings and even bagged the nestlings. UPDATED: The work was done and done extremely well. They came back to service to make up for previously issues we had with communication. Nonetheless - the pest issue was handled and handled well. He made sure to explain everything and why he did certain things. I would definitely be sure to hire him! Old Review: I wish someone had left a review before me so that I knew EXACTLY what to expect. The communication was missing. After him coming once - he said he would come back, but never did even after confirming with him AND having someone wait for him. When trying to contact him, he rarely answered. I waited over a week to even get emailed a receipt. He did allegedly come for his second visit over a week and hours late, but I'm not sure how truthful that was. Honestly it may be better to pay more for someone else because Gaynor Services is NOT the company to use. read more

I found a snake in my basement before leaving on a trip. I contacted Gaynor services and they quoted me 225 to check for the snake, prevent it from coming in, and do whatever else they felt necessary. The two employees drove 2 hours to complete my service. Talk about dedication. Apparently they have other clients in nearby cities so the long drive isn't unusual. They came in and got down to business. One worker took a quick look in the room where the snake was last spotted. He didn't really do much, opened the door, looked quickly, and shut it. I figured the snake was gone but it could easily have been hiding in the room. They went outside to look for an entrance hole. They found a few possible spots and put some steel wool in them. The last two things they did was to put down a few glue traps and spray around the room. If I had suggestions they would be: 1. Try to figure out how they got into the house. They did a decent job on the outside but there wasn't much effort made to determine where it entered the structure/foundation. 2. Make more of an effort searching inside. Again, it seemed like a lot of their focus was outside the house. I'm sure snakes and mice can dig another hole which puts me in need of an exterminator again if their point of entry isn't addressed. 3. They out down traps and left them. That means I either need to take care of them myself or hire someone back to deal with them. It would have been nice if they had a 2nd visit special or something to retrieve the traps and check on things since their visit. Also just a heads up they might push their monthly service plan for $85/mo. That seemed a bit steep and I didn't want them to travel 2 hours every visit. By the time they left I felt better about the snake situation but still don't know if it was fully handled. read more
