With that being said, this gym asks more of you than will be asked of you--- maybe ever. Be prepared to go 5-6x a week. Be prepared for your legit excuses to get squashed. Be prepared to be uncomfortable but still learn something about yourself that you didn't know before (even though you think you know yourself pretty well to begin with) I credit this gym to inspiring me to get my business cards finished. I know that sounds unrelated, but fitness & business is actually connected. Also, I have been motivated to do my taxes because there is an expression I learned here: Embrace the suck. And it applies to all the things you don't want to do, and yet you will feel better and stronger once you do it. There is a community feel here. Maybe the most I encountered on the floor was 10 people. Truly a dream come true when you don't want a crowded gym. Trainer knew how to modify exercises for my injuries. If you feel called to join, you should, trust your gut. My experience is just that. Whoever reads this will have a different mindset, attitude and life lived experience.

(I forgot what practice we were doing ) if you bring a friend, you get the BOGO price which is only $5!!!!!!! You definitely won't find a cheaper yoga class, like ever. They are located in one of the lofts off of Fulton St. The first floor is where you check in and meet the instructor. You put your belongings in a locker which they keep locked during the class. The second floor is where the class is. Mats are already provided and laid out for you but I'm sure you can bring your own. And there isn't a mat rental, which isn't like most places! Yay! The third level is vacant but heard they are renovating it for an Airbnb. I'm sad I cannot remember the instructors name right now but she was really sweet, informative, patient with the newbies, aka me, and encouraging! Yoga isn't something I do often but I am interested in going to this place again. Such a relaxing vibe and perfect place for meditation.

My sister suggested this place and wow! I've done both beginners yoga and the restorative yoga classes. Beginners yoga definitely has more poses and movement than the restorative class, and that's really helped my core and back be challenged to heal. I do what I can and I never feel awkward if I can't do a pose. They also provided me with alternative poses to do if I couldn't do something. The restorative class is a dream! Such a great way to destress from the day and just relax. The stretching was also great for my back. I really really like this place and will be coming back for sure!

The Club House Isn't Just a Gym. It's a Standard…read more From the moment you walk in, you feel it. This place was built by someone who actually gets it. The people here set the tone immediately: welcoming, serious about the sport, and the kind of community you didn't know you were missing until you found it. The facility itself is a masterclass in intentional design. Every square foot has been thought through, not just filled. The full gym is the kind of setup that earns its own reputation, but somehow it's still just the foundation. The crown jewel is the upper lounge: a few baseball stadium seats (yes, real stadium seats), a pool table, and a curated collection of amenities that blur the line between training facility and retreat. It's the kind of space that makes you want to stay long after you're done working. The food deserves a shoutout, real, reasonably priced, and actually good. That's rarer than it should be. The membership model is the right call. Dedicated access, guaranteed time, no chaos, just intentional, structured use of a world-class facility. You know what you're getting, and it delivers every time. The owner is the real differentiator. High character, genuine investment in the sport, and a rare situational awareness that keeps things fair and running smoothly. He doesn't just own a facility, he stewards a community. If this is what they've built at this scale, just imagine what's coming next. The Club House isn't a hidden gem anymore, it's the blueprint.

You can feel the warmth of this community from the moment you walk into the door. In class, there are plenty of options to accommodate various physical needs. During instruction, you are provided with valuable insight to support your practice. In case you find this helpful, I started with gentle yoga before moving into vinyasa. About four and a half months in, I tried power yoga and enjoyed it. This gradual approach felt good to me as a newbie.

On multiple occasions, I have overheard the…read moreowner, Kellee gossiping when she believed no one was around They present themselves as friendly and caring but they are disingenuous. The studio is money-driven under the disguise of "community." They do not support/promote students or events beyond the confines of their own classes/workshops Owners/manager are only focus on collecting class/membership fees than supporting students' yoga growth and practice Owners/manager show no investment in instructors/students' long-term yoga development. Every class opens with redundant intro announcements to market additional paid workshops. The same paid retreats are announced and promoted for half the year, like an hourly infomercial Staff are scheduled few working hours, paid near minimum wage. Instructors are paid roughly one-third of what comparable local studios pay, barely fair The owner, Jameson is a salesman. He uses coercion to get students to sign a contract when they are not ready to make an obligation. Refunds are nonexistent The studio operates in a consistently disorganized manner, with frequent last-minute instructor substitutions. Experienced instructors "wing" classes with recycled intentions and no planning--students are not paying $32 per class for improvisation. Music is often last-minute Spotify playlist; sound speakers and heat/humidity malfunction regularly due to lack of readiness. Even basic setup--such as the instructor's mat, weights and class environment--often unprepared Owners/manager claim extensive years of experience, teaching Sanskrit yet they do not portray a polished or well-developed yoga character Longstanding members see limited progress because the studio prioritizes acquiring new members over supporting existing ones. Original students are stagnant, with common postures going uncorrected & no visible yoga growth/strength. Classes are elementary not suited for students seeking quality growth There appears to be clear favoritism: white instructors are given preference over non-white instructors. Non-white instructors receive very few teaching hours, especially during the most in-demand time hour There is a noticeable lack of strong instructors, particularly male instructors. The owner is rarely present, yet positions himself as the studio's authority. If he takes a dislike to someone, he removes them from the studio under the pretense of "disruptive" behavior Instructors turnover annually/bi-annually. If you disagree with the owners, the environment can quickly become uncomfortable, and your employment will be terminated I strongly recommend that current instructors build and maintain their own social media presence so they retain an independent audience in the event they are let go Constructive feedback / suggestions are not welcomed or considered; the owners respond in a dismissive, short-tempered manner To be fair, a no-show fee should not be charged when the class is not full Favorite instructor is Jasmine because of genuineness, maturity, professionalism Least favorite instructor is Farin due to consistent lack of preparation, visibly stress, depressing aura
