Harding Park in Hubbard really has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Whether you're looking to…read morerelax, take the kids out, shoot some hoops, or just go for a walk--this place covers it. Clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. Always a solid spot to unwind or get active

This past Sunday; was in town for a 100th birthday party picnic for an adopted grandma. I've been…read moreto Hubbard many times, even with being familiar with the area; still ended up missing the street to enter the park. For a small town, and an older park was quite impressed on how clean it was and the emmenties that were provided with each shelter. I'm not sure on if all the shelters were the same; but Shelter 4, had enough picnic benches to accomate small or large parties. The shelter itself; was amazing two working fridges, a sink, bathroom and even a counter space area. The shutter wood latch and enclosure of the actual shelter stood out the most for me. The picnic was a wonderful event; and even the area local news stoper by to hilight, Ann Curtin..Happy 100th Birthday...relaxing, celebration happy to have attended and been invited. We all need positive, uplifting, motivational stories ; especially with the current state of our world. If you live local in Hubbard Ohio, or surrounding areas...be sure to utilize this park...there were playgrounds and other benefits to the location as well Sorry forgot the actually park pictures

My brother & our families each had a seasonal site for the 2024 season (2 sites)…read more Positives: Beautiful, clean campground; Quiet, friendly neighbors; Spacious sites; Big playground; Clean pool/facilities; Safe Downsides: Primarily, the owner * During our first visit to look at the campground, my husband & I said that my brother and his family are interested in seasonal camping here and that if there are ever 2 sites together that we would love to be next to eachother. She said she would never let families to be next to eachother because she worries about drama, and that families get sick of eachother. She also said that people want to wake up drinking coffee & sitting at their campfire w/ out their family coming over to visit. This is odd, they're adults! * Before signing a contract, I expressed to her that my parents are a huge part our of lives & frequently visit us, that a big part of the decision for us to sign a contract before coming was considering the visitor fee cost. I also did not want anything to deter my parents from visiting. Even if it offered to my parents to pay each time, that would still deter them b/c they wouldn't want to be a burden to us (which they never would be, that's just how considerate they are). The owner herself offered us to pay $75 for the entire season for EACH of them to visit. (Which we found reaonable. We were willing to pay more, even somehow include them as seasonal members for the site itself but she wouldnt allow it). Beginning of June, she complained to my husband that they were visiting too often. She scoffed at us when they visited. She always had some sort of complaint about them coming. And if you look at other reviews, she seems to have an issue with visitors in general. Meanwhile, we didn't even end up using up what we had invested into paying by the end of the season for each of them- and should have just paid the daily rate. * My mom & dad are in their 70's & 80's, respectively. My mom is physically handicap. She wouldn't allow them (or any visitor) to drive their vehicle to our campsite, despite us being allowed to have up to 2 vehicles on our site. * Even though my parents were seasonal visitors based on our agreement, she still required them to check in every single time they visit. On a Sunday afternoon, my parents came to visit us. My husband drove down to the front to pick them up. He had intended on checking both of them in to the office when picking them up. Well, the office was closed and said so with a handwritten sign. So when they got up to our campsite, he intended on emailing her that they were here. As he went to re-enter the gate, she came running out of her house & said "this is your last warning" and had her finger pointed up in the air. He tried to explain himself and she said, "it doesn't matter you could have called or emailed". My parents and husband all were baffled that she screamed at them for such a crazy misunderstanding. * She complained that my parents each drove separate cars and took up too many spaces (2) in their extra car parking that SHE asked them to park into (again because she wouldn't allow them to park at one of our two seasonal campsites). * Day 1 of us being there, after already signing the contract, paying, and the fact that our camper was already there, she complained to us that we got there after 5 to get gate card. It was a constant trend from that point forward, we always felt like an inconvenience to her. * She alleged that my dad had a beer at the campground with the kids. Meanwhile my dad doesn't even drink, so that can't be true. Likely a pop can * My brother went to his campsite to grab his liquor for us to take a shot together at our site to try to take it off of our minds. Apparently she saw it on either one of her cameras or neighbors complained. She gave us a "final warning" for that. * When we were at the pool one day, the divider broke off of the side of the pool. My dad tried fixing it but was not able to. He went to the office to offer to fix it himself and said he had tools in his car. My dad said they were rude to him and cut him off when they were talking. * You will be constantly watched on camera when at the pool. You will feel like you are on a season of Big Brother. * She didn't communicate to seasonal campers that the power was out. * We avoided camping once the end of the summer began. We felt like we wasted an entire year of camping because of her. I think unless you are a senior or older couple/older family with absolutely no visitors, you do not want to come here ever. It is a senior living campground with some younger families, but with not a lot of "life" to it. I spoke with some other seasonal campers who said they were leaving that season because they didn't like being treated like a child. Take the time to read other reviews over the yrs & you will see that there is a trend. When you go go visit the campground, you will see open sites, which should make you scratch you
