I originally wanted to go really short, but Henry suggested not going too drastic right away, and I'm so glad I listened to him. He helped me ease into a shorter style that still feels like me! Now my hair sits a little under my shoulders, with the back slightly longer and I love it so much!! It's been such a nice change, especially with my schedule. I work early Monday through Friday, so having shorter hair makes it way easier to manage and dry. I told him I'm only getting a haircut and he said ok. Another customer walks in and he assists her, seating her at the station behind me and proceeds to ask what cut and color she would like. About 5 minutes later, he tells me to sit 2 stations down. Ten comes over after she assisted another customer and asks what cut I would like. I told her I wanted to keep my V shape + long layers and just wanted to thin out my hair. She said ok and started straightening my hair. My hair is already very straight to begin with and I've never been to a salon where they start off straightening your hair, but this should've been enough for me to trust my gut and get up and leave! I decided to "trust the process" and she basically began dry cutting my hair and kept straightening in between cuts. In the end, she styled it with the straighter and said "I gave you more layers ok?" I'm so disappointed by Ten because not only did she not listen to what I asked for, but she butchered my hair. Of course with all the straightening, my hair would look decent because it's "styled," but when it's freshly washed and blow dried without styling, it's a choppy 3 layer haircut! I'm not sure who hired her, but she isn't fit to be a hairstylist. Now I have to either find someone who can fix my hair or just let it grow out.

I got to the store a few minutes prior to 4:00PM and let her know that i have an appointment, she told me to wait since it was only 3:58 and my actual appointment was at exactly 4:00. I waited and didn't get talked to until 4:08 which wouldn't have been an issue if they weren't charging a dollar per minute. when i was sat the lady showed me a picture as a reference which i liked, but when she actually installed the tinsel it looked nothing like the picture, it was very empty and she ended up charging me 30 dollars for what i believe was not worth 30 dollars of time, work, or product. and the worst part is as soon as i left the store the tinsel started falling out of my hair as per the picture that i showed. and now 2 days later i have NO tinsel left and the Qtips that they installed are so close to my scalp to the point where they're painful to even touch so i am unable to remove them. the lady let me know at the store if they made me uncomfortable (seems like she knew) i would have to come back and pay to get them removed. overall terrible i would not recommend going.
