May 6, wednesday I had my BLO dry appointment for 1230pm,- I get there both owners were there. Unbelieve Marissa & Helen! Jack box I told both of them. Being 66 years old a Senior is big. Its not as easy however once you get to Blo, the entire staff starting with owner's. Make you feel like fabulous 40! THE numerous amount of attention. The front desk says Shay will be doing your appointment. Can't be late due it was busy. Shay was Spectacular upbeat fun loving. As you sit in your getting a blow dry. Sophia &Rose either or come to you here is a glass of champagne w slash of OJ. The atmosphere is above &beyond state of the art. Classy when done. The Make up bar is available. The owner's & Shay the entire staff when done. Take a picture give me the feeling. Tell me I don't look 66- Shay already put hair spray on me. However I wasxleaving the wind was getting crazy. My appointment was scheduled for 10:15 AM and didn't finish until 12:00 PM, even though it was supposed to take only 1 hour and 15 minutes. Before starting, I clearly explained to Chris that with my hair texture, blow drying alone would not be sufficient and that a flat iron was necessary. Despite this, he disregarded my concern and only blow dried my hair. On top of that, he left midway through the appointment to get something to eat, which was very unprofessional. Thankfully, Sam stepped in to help. She straightened my roots and curled my hair, and she did a great job fixing what she could. However, since the rest of my hair was never properly flat ironed, it became curly and frizzy again shortly after I arrived at my event. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Christopher gave me one of the best blowouts I have had in a long time. I have extensions, so the appointment took close to two hours, and he never once rushed, complained, or lost focus. He was incredibly patient, meticulous, and genuinely cared about doing the job beautifully. What really stood out was how thoughtful and kind he was throughout the entire appointment. He checked in often, paid close attention to detail, and clearly takes pride in his work. The end result was smooth, polished, and lasted far longer than most blowouts I get. read more

I just had my first blowout ever! Thea was amazing- we started off with a wash. I added a head massage and deep condition cuz I really needed it! This place is welcoming, clean and organized. I came across Blo Blow Dry Bar as I was looking for someone to do my wedding hair and makeup. I decided to go through with them for a trial first to test the waters. Thea was recommended to me and I literally couldn't imagine my special day with anyone else. Prior to meeting her for my trial, I looked up her work on Instagram. I found a hairstyle and makeup look she had already done for her to recreate for me. My trial went very well and we talked about the little changes for my big day. My big day was yesterday and I booked Blo on the Go with Thea. She traveled to my hotel. She got there around 10:30am and finished just before 2:30pm. She started with my hair and did my makeup right after. Her personality is so lovely and she's extremely sweet. She kept me calm while I was an anxious wife to be. After a last minute cancellation by another salon I had an important event to get too Blo Blow Dry Bar came in clutch they gave me the exact style I wanted along with an amazing head massage. ( which is extra, but I highly recommend it as it was extremely nice. ) My hair stylist was really nice, I highly recommend him His name was Chris if you would like to know. I had a really amazing time here and honestly will be going back in the future. 11/12/23 This was my first time at a Blo Dry Bar and I had a great experience! I scheduled an appointment for 11 o'clock so my hair would look nice for my engagement photoshoot later that afternoon. About an hour or so before my appointment, Marissa the manager, called saying the stylist was I was scheduled with was out sick. She offered to me an afternoon appointment but I said I couldn't make it since that would conflict with my photoshoot. I am so grateful that she was able to squeeze me in at 10:15AM. Blo Blow Dry Bar is located at Westlake Plaza. There is ample parking on either side of the plaza. When I got there, I had to wait for 10-15 minutes since they were short staffed. My stylist that day was Melissa. I did a regular Blo Out and went for the Holly Would style. She is such a friendly person and put me at ease since I've never gone to a Blo Dry Bar before. She did an amazing job with my hair and it held for the photoshoot and a little bit into the evening. read more

For anyone who has an event to go to, I would personally recommend doing your own hair so you can retouch it as needed. Probably one of the worst experiences I have had with a blowout bar. This is definitely a quick-high-volume last resort place. If you are looking for a place to get consistent blowouts and be a member with, this is not your spot. I was a member for a few months and it was one of the worst decisions. At $250/month for a few months I have gotten a handful of decent blowouts and not felt constantly stressed. After I got a call canceling a 7am appointment 15 minutes before it was scheduled, it was when I decided I was done with this place. If you treat customers like dispensable in and out objects with zero tolerance and understanding, you have to also understand customers will not tolerate a last minute cancellation. Blowouts are fine, super basic, with basic products. Sometimes they hold well, sometimes they suck and don't depending on who you get. Once the stylist accidentally burned my ear with the curling iron (accidents happen but just to give you the idea of variability). They also don't pick up the phone and are a nightmare to get hold off if you need to reschedule or ask questions. You get stuck talking to a bot via text instead. I would go somewhere else with people that care if you want consistency and to be treated like a valued customer. Adding based on response from blo: what you state is factually incorrect. I have been to your salon a handful of times despite ongoing membership. You accommodated me once after being a little over 15 minutes late where I was very appreciative. You have not in fact accommodated me for being late beyond that. It is extremely rude to accuse me the way you do, and honestly substantiates my comments and frustration with you and your set up. This is a last resort get in-get out place with basic blowouts. There is no communication and inflexibility in rescheduling or accommodating clients. And no, you cannot expect me to accept a last minute reschedule if you don't provide me with the same courtesy. I want to feel relaxed and comfortable and as someone who gets blowouts regularly, and have for years, I have felt unappreciated and stressed, and have certainly not received the services I paid for as a member. read more

I have my favorites, but ALL of the stylists are friendly and knowledgeable in different techniques and in creating different styles. I have the membership, which I think is a fantastic deal. It's an easy drive from the City, with nearby parking easily accessible (even by my standards, and I have mobility issues) and the space is so welcoming and clean, and I always enjoy the experience of being there. 3 stars for the super nice people and service but the blow out did not last for even a day and at times felt like the curling iron was going to burn my scalp I normally get blowouts done at salons but I wanted to try something closer to home so I decided to check out this blow out bar. My hair retains a curl pretty well that lasts 4 days until I decide to wash it but the blow out I got done here fell out in like 6 hours and didn't last till the next day. And I showed my inspo pic and within 10min I already knew it was not going to be OK... I instantly got up and left... I paid for my hair even though I shouldn't have and left While I was there -- such inappropriate convos happening.... They were all talking about a party they were all going too.. what they will be doing there, I watched a different hairstylist make her next appt wait 20 min because she was doing a different hairstyles hair for this party... Came here for the first time after being highly recommended by my esthetician at European Wax (right next door)! Rue exceeded my expectations and did a fantastic job with the "Executive Sweet" blowout I requested. I asked for the color wow dream coat and Rue also took her time explaining what Unite products would work best for my hair. This was the silkiest and softest my hair has been. This was my second time at Blo Blow Dry Bar and it did not disappoint. For this visit, I booked a blowout and full-face make-up with falsies with Candace G. and was so happy with the results. I booked these services for a special event; I don't usually get my hair and make-up done however I wanted to look dolled up for my graduation ceremony. The salon itself is easy to find and parking is accessible, the check-in process was smooth and fortunately, I was Candace's last client of the day. I didn't have a specific look in mind however after showing Candace my outfit, we decided on a half updo with soft glam makeup. My make up wasn't overly done and my hair turned out better than I imagined. Overall, I had a great experience and I will come back for any other future glam needs! Very happy with my experience at Blo. They were able to accommodate me for full makeup 30 mins before they opened on a Tuesday. I appreciate them doing so, so I can be on time for my 11am wedding. Theana was my makeup artist. She was warm and welcoming. I felt very comfortable with her and she involved me in the details of my makeup, my likes and dislikes. She took her time and it didn't feel rushed. I loved my makeup and got many compliments. I felt so beautiful. Theana's a gem! I will definitely be coming back here for another event. I am so upset. I went to blo and had an appointment to get my hair done and it took Natalia 2.5 hours to do my hair. It's thick hair but if she would have taken the time instead of rushing. My curls didn't hold one bit. She re curled it and it still didn't hold. If she had kept the curling iron on my hair for longer then I'm sure my curls would have stayed. I am so upset my curls went flat immediately when I was at my family photo shoot. This was our first time getting photos done with my baby and my hair made me look so bad. It also made me rush and stress out and I forgot parts of my makeup, we were late to the pictures and the pictures look bad cuz my hair looks AWFUL!!!I also paid 75 dollars with yall cuz I tipped her well but I spent 75 dollars for 2 braids. I am so upset. The pictures were ruined! I need to be refunded for my hair and the pictures!!!! My baby was in the NICU for the first month of her life so this was our first family photo shoot. I cried when I saw the pictures!!! Here is a picture of my hair that was "curled" UPDATE- I talked with the Owner Marissa and she didn't care one bit that my hair was AWFUL for my pictures. I have had cancer twice , osteosarcoma bone cancer and I was even taking with Natalia who did my hair and told her my story of how much my leg was hurting, how I had a hard pregnancy and I was SO excited for the pictures because I have been through so much to just have my baby and to finally get pictures done with her for the first time breaks my heart that I will always look back on them and be so disappointed , that this hair salon ruined them. All my friends are asking why my hair looked so bad because I got it done but nope it looked like I rolled out of bed for the photo shoot . I am so embarrassed of the pictures. I kindly asked the owner Marissa to pay for my pictures and she tired to gilt trip me and say shes poor and the business isn't doing well and her husband is a teacher. My baby was in distress because she had to wait so long at Blo and pooped all over herself ruined her outfit, screamed for hours made me stress a lot and I forgot to do parts of my makeup because of this place!!
