Build-A-Bear Workshop at Coral Square Mall is such a fun experience for kids! My children absolutely love stores like this where they can create their own special friend from start to finish. They enjoyed choosing their stuffed animals, filling them, adding a little heart, dressing them up, and even receiving a birth certificate for their new furry friend. There are so many cute accessories, brushes, and outfits to make the experience extra special. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, and the store itself was clean, cozy, and well organized. Another big plus is the location inside Coral Square Mall. There is plenty of parking, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and both indoor and outdoor playground areas. The kids were especially fascinated by the adorable Korean-style claw machines filled with cute plush toys, and the cotton candy machines were so beautiful and entertaining to watch. Visited today with my son and grandson , my grandson gets overstimulated and noises gets to him, she was gentle and patient with him as she created his bear . Store has a great selection of bears to choose from, there's a special birthday bear and you pay your age, which is a great bargain for the little ones. This store has a lot of options for stuffed animals and clothing. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a deal going of buy one and get one for $14 for select animals. My daughter and her friend chose frogs and got to watch them being stuffed, and gave them each a heart. They enjoyed it. The clothing and accessories can add up if you're not careful. They had a sad looking option for the birthday bear, which is why they chose the frog instead. This was my first time in a build-a-bear so I didn't have anything to compare it to but it seemed ok. read more

This place is so cute and fun! Build a Bear is one of the oldest stores at the Coral Square Mall in Coral Springs. It has been here for as lo g as I can remember. I came to get a gift card, and I could not help just looking around and trying to guess what bear would my friend's daughter put together. I loved all the Pokemon and Super heroes outfit. All the sales people I saw were super upbeat, and so sweet to all the little girls and boys in the store. I came out of there happy even though I didn't build a bear. read more

They were friendly and very outgoing and i had a lot of fun building my bear and adding accessories! I would definitely recommend this location to all ages as the staff here is amazing ! read more

The store is super cute and the employees really nice but the mall it's in is very outdated which in turn makes the store a bit sad

My child fell in love with one of these plush toys in the playground and we decided to make the trip to Coral Springs. First of all, this store looked dirty. I tried to overlook this as my child was so excited. I noticed there were three employees and no one at the store, however no greeting and no one asked if we needed help. My child is two years old, and the toys here are placed very high up and was difficult for a child to see. When I lowered the Hello Kitty to see if she was interested, one of the employees snatched the doll from my daughter without regard, put it back on the top shelf and quickly gave me her back. I WAS IN SHOCK. My husband saw it and couldn't believe how disrespectful and unprofessional the employee was. It's our only child!!! I was ready to spend some serious amount of money. After I came back to my senses,my husband ask to leave and take out business elsewhere. You would think being a toy store the employees would be sweet and considerate with children. This woman snatched the plush toy like an animal from my daughters hands. I was so enraged I didn't see her name tag. She was blonde and short. The other two employees were more interested in cleaning the store for closing and looking at us weird. Worst customer service, we will not be returning to this location. i went in here and found a small $10 frog at the register. we stood in line for about 5-10 minutes and when i was up next the lady at the register told me (kindly) that someone else was going to ring me up. okay! for sure! what does she do next? comes out from behind the counter and walks to her coworker and leans and starts talking. 5 minutes go by, they're still talking. i'm still in line. there's still someone being helped at the register in front of me. i would understand if you were going to do something but come onnnn. i put the frog back and left :-) first and last time in that build a bear!! read more

I took my kids in to use gift cards they received. As we started creating my sons Batman bear my daughter wanted to upgrade a bunny she received as a gift. I was very pleased to find out this was possible. They were able to open her bunny and put in a beating heart, sound, and scent. The heart routine is lovely and they did something different for each kid. The staff was so friendly, responsive, and helpful. I only gave 4 stars because wow the price adds up fast and the accessories become irresistible for shopping preschool and young elementary students. This activity can be quite expensive, but the kids are really excited by the entire process. I will be returning but they will have a one outfit limit and for special occasions. read more

Love the idea of personalized stuffed animals. I have a ton of their stuffed animals and clothing. They have everything from bears, bunnies, dogs, animals, movie animals, and Hello Kitty. The clothing is crazy too because you can kind of go insane with everything. I mean there are shirts and bottoms, dresses, costumes, Justice brand clothing, shoes, glasses, pet accessories, etc. I always like looking around at what's new and the staff is pretty friendly. There really aren't many customers that I've even seen at this location and the staff is pretty slim as well. But it's fun! It can definitely get pricey though to make a bear and then get outfits and stuff for it, so definitely expect to pay quite a bit. read more

Had my older daughters 2nd birthday party here. Probably better for a 3 year old, but we loved it nonetheless. $250 for 6 kids to build their own animal, wardrobe included. Party host guided things for about 2hrs during which time kiddos sing & dance. They set up a table & chairs for our pizza & cake. Also included take home boxes with water & animal crackers and a $10 gift card. Cute commutative photo also. Highly recommend for a peaceful, low-key young aged party! Came here for a birthday party. The kids got to chose from three 12 dollar bears that were paid for by the party host. If a child wanted another bear we were told by an associate that we would have to pay the difference of the bears. After the kids all made their bears the associate who told us we would pay the did fence informed us that since not everyone showed up to the party they were downgrading it from a party and that everyone would have to pay full price for the bears. Completely unprofessional. Do not recommend this build a bear location. read more

What an awesome day!!! We came in around 3:30 PM. Staff was amazing!!!!! THE STAFF MADE IT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR MY KIDS. Everyone was great from start to finish. We were there for about an hour, as my kids were going back and forth about which outfits to pick. Instead of getting frustrated the staff actually engaged my children and really listened to my kids likes and Interests. They didn't quit until my kids had picked out the perfect outfit and were completely satisfied with the end result. At some point every single staff members had interacted with my kids and they were all amazing. They explained the whole process and walked the children through it. And also kept us (the parents) informed on prices as the kids were picking away. We came in to purchase 2 bears for the kids and had such a great experience that we ended up building 2 additional bears for ourselves as well. The staff made it so fun we decided to join in on the fun. They also fixed a bear we had from 1997 free of charge. Fantastic place and staff. 5 STARS!!! read more
