The exhibits are immersive and well-themed, moving from local Ozark freshwater habitats to larger ocean environments, with clear educational signage throughout. The underwater tunnels and shipwreck exhibit were highlights, and the freshwater sections featuring native fish species were especially interesting. You can tell there's a strong conservation focus behind the displays, not just entertainment. Plan to spend a couple of hours to see everything comfortably. It's well maintained, clean, and suitable for both adults and kids. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Springfield or passing through.

We had old coins we were hoping to turn into plays but couldn't unfortunately, o well the nice employee at the counter told us what games still took them so we were still able to play. I'm super new to the rock climbing world, and was even afraid of heights when starting here 2…read moremonths ago. My husband and I have the monthly passes and we try to go 2x/week. I'm now no longer afraid of climbing and am really starting to look forward to going and challenging myself at the gym. The facility is almost always packed, but if you go early in the day or later in the evening it isn't so chaotic. In our couple months of being here they've changed the holds on the walls at least twice. Maybe three times. I like that they don't change everything all at once so you get a chance to do some ones you know while trying new ones. I like how you can purchase or rent anything you would need here. The employees are very kind and helpful. And the community of climbers are very encouraging and also equally kind and helpful. It's a great place to come if you're interested in climbing or learning to climb.
