I told them to STOP and they charged me $300 for 2 hours of work ??? I called the office. She told me THE WORK is NOT WARRANTED so i have to pay $300 for what they told me to. I have been in correspondence with the company owner for over 50 days to fix all of the issues…read morepictured. Each time I get its next week and less and less will be fixed. The last one he said nasty things about my son because he checked the progress for me upon initial installation and found things to not be right. I was screamed and threatened that if my son wasn't removed from the job site they would not finish the job. I know why now. Upon further inspection it was noticed that the ridge vent on the garage was never replaced. They just put brown ridge shingles leaving a slope for water to sit in. They also used two different ridge vent shingles. They must have run out and assumed I would not inspect my roof. I have sent lists to them with what needed to be fixed. The owner told me he didn't appreciate my comments about workmanship. Just look at it. I have every right to feel this way. No wonder he demanded immediate payment. After saying he didn't appreciate my comments he posted a positive review on his Facebook page about care and customer service from a customer about the company owner who remained on site and installed the roof himself. I got a crew who didn't speak English (the language isn't the problem, the foreman not being able to speak the same language is)and could not communicate with the foreman left on the job site who had no clue what he was doing. The owner of the company showed up only when I complained and had my son stop the job so I would get an owner response. That response was screaming at me. There were exposed wires in the roof that my son wanted to take 15 minutes to cap off for fire safety reasons. Also they did not repair part of the roof correctly that was discussed via phone calls. The room would have collapsed after being charged an additional $5,000 according to initial contacts. I chose and trusted this company and the pictures show what I got. Be warned not all customer service or workmanship is the same with this company. He over estimated the time for the job and clearly the materials needed to finish. I have yet to get the issues fixed. My next step is legal action. And hiring another company to fix all of the issues. If I could give it zero stars I would.

For years I knew I had a…read moremold problem in my attic, because my attic space is pretty much sealed from the rest of the house I was not concerned for my health, however the mold was spreading fast across the wood sheathing in the attic and I was afraid it was only a matter of time until the mold rotted away the sheathing ruining the 5 year old roof I put on a few years ago. I called 3 different mold remediation companies that I found using a google search in my area. No one returned any of my calls or emails except Eric Katz of ASG. He was out to my house in a few days to look at my attic, tell me what was wrong, and how he could help. He emailed me a quote the same day he was at my home. Given that I had not heard back from any other company, I had little choice but to use ASG. I was SOOO nervous because mold remediation companies can be such scam artists. They prey on the uninformed customer that thinks all mold is toxic and that their family will die if they don't hire them. While Eric was extremely nice and personable, I was still nervous.... How silly I was! Eric showed up a week later with one other gentlemen and spent that day dealing with the mold issue. I liked how the owner of the company was here working instead of two employees I had never met before. Eric worked in the attic all day, and the other employee pretty much spent the day on the roof installing the new ridge cap vent. Eric was also kind enough the finish hooking up a new bathroom fan I had purchased!!! I was rushing to install a new bathroom fan myself for the master bath as the old one stopped working. I new Eric was going to be changing how the bathrooms fans were vented, and I felt it was important to get the new one installed before he started work. I spent 2 hours the night before Eric and his crew came trying to get this bathroom fan installed. I cut a larger hole in my ceiling, crawled into my attic to get it mounted to the joist, but I could not stand to be in the attic any longer to hook up the electrical. I also did not have electrical nuts handy. After spending an hour in the attic, I stopped working on the fan after I got it mounted. I was going to finish the electrical work after Eric completed his work the following day... When I got home from work my wife told me Eric and his crew had just left. I went up to the attic and was so impressed. ALL the mold was gone, it smelled great! The protective Enviroshield was in place and Eric hooked up my bathroom fan for me, even did it according to electrical code!!! I like how ASG (Advantage Service Group) not only removed the mold, but they also fixed the issues with the house which caused the mold. He never tried to scam me into needing things like brand new insulation.. (Common mold remediation company scam) He was honest, and did a great job. Don't bother calling anyone but Eric with ASG. The other companies locally are to busy to return peoples calls and emails anyways!

At the end of the installation I was stunned at the shoddy job that was done. This was a dirt…read morefloor installation requiring heavy duty plastic on the floor. Every post, doorway, sump pump, hot water heater, pressure tank had major leaks and there was no attempt at all of securing the areas from leaks into the basement and no mechanical fastening to the stone foundation. They simply applied spray foam to the dirt and stuck the plastic to it. The only thing the "system" was doing was sucking radon gas out of the basement and not below the membrane. If I hadn't withheld the balance I owed I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have come back and brought the work closer to NRPP standards.
