Mike's estimator arrived promptly, put on his booties and got to work. The estimate was very fair, so I scheduled the job. The crew arrived on time and it was evident from the beginning, that they took great care to do the job efficiently AND carefully to avoid any damage in my home, especially while moving equipment around. As an aside, the crew also happened to be a really nice bunch of guys, with a great rapport and they make a homeowner feel at ease. The ducts are now spotless and my anxieties about the construction dust (with who knows what in it), are gone. I also have to say, I've never seen a business owner work harder to ensure my satisfaction than Mike. Throughout the job and afterwards, Mike was in contact with me to make sure everything went well. Sadly, that kind of concern is pretty much absent in lots of businesses. Not these guys. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. I used New Crystal Restoration when my home sustained mold and water damage from a roof and chimney leak. They were very professional and went to great lengths to explain the remediation/cleanup process. They used GREEN products, not chemicals. This put me at ease cause I have a dog and children and I did not want them to use those toxic chemicals that other restoration companies use. Also, New Crystal Restoration did not charge extra for the GREEN cleaning. They cleaned every "nooch and cranny" with careful detail to my expensive and valuable items. I guess you can say they gave me "white glove" service. When it was completed, my home looked better than it was before the damages. Crystal Restoration provided excellent services when I had a major flood in my house. They responded immediately to my frantic email which I sent at midnight and they had a full crew the next morning cleaning and evaluating the huge mess and damages to my property.. Then they helped to process the claim with my insurance company and made sure no stone was unturned therefore the insurance reimbursed us for most of our loss. If Crystal Restoration had not intervened, the damage to the house would have been far worse and we would have had to spend endless hours negotiating with the insurance company to receive full reimbursement for our claim. I called New Crystal Restoration because I thought there might be a mold problem in my downstairs bedroom. They were extremely professional on the phone and promised to come to my house for a complementary inspection. They came as promised very promptly. They proceeded to check my walls and floor- checking under the carpeting and found no signs of mold or mildew. Fortunately, I ended up not needing any professional services. What a pleasure to have a company like this who acted with so much integrity and honesty!
