The next day the airbag light was back on and ultimately, they told me to go to Isringhausen to get it fixed. No mention of a credit for the $140, even though I had been a good customer for some time. Isringhausen charged more to initially fix it, but that didn't last very long either. So, Isringhausen had me bring the car back and they did ultimately fix the problem and credited me for the initial service against the final bill. At that time Isringhausen informed me one of the radiator fans wasn't working. I arranged for K & M to fix this as they are closer to my home (I didn't have time for Isringhausen to fix it when I was there). Took it to K & M who said they needed an additional part that will be delivered to their location in a couple days. Given that the front part of the car was taken apart it was decided to leave the car there. Big mistake! I picked up the car and immediately noticed a couple things different. For starters the gas needle was on empty (the gas was at a quarter tank when I left it there), one of the gauges was changed to G Force and the vehicle had 45 more miles on it! Luckily, I made it to the closet gas station, where I called the service desk asking why there is no gas in my car and why did someone drive my car 45 miles. I asked to speak to the owner but was told he wasn't available. I asked for the owner's email but was told by the service advisor all emails go to him, then he forwards them on. I didn't believe that, so I tried to call the owner several times but was always told he wasn't available. I asked the service advisor why there were 45 more miles on my car and he informed me they have to drive the car to make sure the repair was successful. I began to wonder if I was speaking to the individual who took my Porsche on a joy ride. I left several messages for the owner but never heard back. I take no joy in writing this review, but people need to know this happened.

Others (dealer and complete care auto service) previously found nothing and in the case of the dealer I was charged for the pleasure. Not only did the technician evaluate my vehicle but the lady who checked me in and Beau himself drove my car. The technician and the lady (who for all practical purpose seems just as knowledgeable) confirmed the noise I had been hearing and evaluated the tire for safety and mechanical soundness. They agreed that the tire and thus the car should be safe to drive, and thought the sound was from the strut. Beau confirmed that it was indeed the strut, is safe to drive, and I could replace the strut at my leisure. I thanked them and tried to pay them for this service but they refused, saying "We did nothing to your vehicle; therefore, there is no charge". That was worth the time spent. So if you ever need your vehicle serviced, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Beau's Tire & Auto Center of Chillicothe.

I needed to be towed due to my vehicle totally quit at a stop light. I called the police who came…read moreto my assistance. They told me I needed to be towed. They offered to call a towing company. Illinois Central came. Josh was very helpful, checked to see if the problem could be fixed right there; it could not. He showed me where the mice had caused the problem. He took my vehicle to the dealership I always use. He suggested I look into my insurance policy to see if road-side assistance and towing was covered. I paid him what he quoted (I suggest people carry a blank check or two with them) and he left thanking me, giving me his business card, and wishing me luck for a better day. I recommend Illinois Central Towing (308-226-5000).
