We needed an addition to move my elderly mother in with us. Cory and the crew handled everything from architectural design to permits to homeowner association approvals, to the actual construction. Had inspection done a while ago. Inspector check plugs, GFCIs, found pipe that should've been longer in heater unit, found that the automatic closer in door from garage wasn't working, pointed out working appliances etc etc. He did miss couple of things like garage had hole in wall and fence was falling slightly on the perimeter. With any inspection you do pay for extra eyes on anything. I recommend walking with the inspector and you'll be able to see everything they see plus more eyes on everything is better. Anytime you buy a house get multiple eyes. I had my wife and real estate agent with me while inspector walked the home with us so we found the additional items. If you have any question call the owner they'll clear things up or walk you through concerns the owner seems approachable and willing to help you through understanding the process. read more

Supposedly (because I have no proof) a sewer scope was done on 11/22/2019. I received a bill via email on June 16, 2020. The initial appointment had to be rescheduled because of snow. I was out of town on 11/22/2019 and nothing was left on my door that it was done. So now 7-8 months later I get a bill and I have no proof it was done. I replied to the email that I have no problem paying, I just need proof first that it was done. No response and it is now 6/27/2020. This just doesn't sound right to me. Send me proof and I will IMMEDIATELY pay. read more

I would trust Built Right Home Inspection with any future home inspection, as they did such a great job with my home inspection. I am more than pleased! I wanted an inspection done before my home warranty expired, and the inspectors came in and inspected everything and more, inside and out, to my satisfaction above and beyond. They came in with the latest technology, a thermal gun, and a drone to check areas that are not easily accessible or seen by the naked eye. They saw things I would never have. They went over the results with me and showed me the photos to accompany their remarks. I was more than happy and am thankful for the peace of mind. My last post was removed because I did not give enough detail in regards to my dissatisfaction of an inspection & report that was performed on my property recently, so I will give a couple of examples of the inaccuracy & incompetence of the process that took place. First my HVAC units are less tan 4 years old, it was stated that one unit had a leak & that the breakers/fuses were not to code. I knew this was not the case so I paid $69 to the company that installed them to verify. There was no leak to be found, the units have no issues! Next, it was noted that outside lights are inoperable, false they are light sensitive that obviously do not come on when it is daylight. Anyone that is aware of the technology would have simply put a finger on the sensor & voila' let there be light! I could go on more but the bottom line is when paying $$$ for a home inspection be aware that there could be misconceptions & inaccuracies that should be addressed before the buyer decides not to move forward with their purchase. All because they trust their $$$ were well spent & they just want some peace of mind in regards to their new/used home. read more

This company is definitely the best out there! Professional, courteous and completely on top of everything. I'm in the process of buying my first home and I'm completely new to this whole process. I was on a time limit to have an inspection completed and there were a few things about the property that had made me uneasy about purchasing it.
