Delicious food. Went to taste to cater a party. The bbq chicken and pork skewers were amazing.

We came to 99 Ranch to do some grocery shopping but decided to order Bulan for dinner. We got the Crispy pata with lumpia and garlic rice- Crispy pata was good, a little salty but a good size and hit the spot. The lumpia sucked and tasted like it was from the freezer aisle not homemade. Garlic rice was decent and had good flavor. Would order this again chicken inisal- yuck, bad flavor and was dry Pampano- yum but super tiny portion for the price Overall the Crispy pata and Pampano tasted authentic and the pata was priced very well. We would need to come back to try more dishes to see if we are really sold though. Service really lacked, the girl was on the phone for a good portion of the time. I understand she was maybe taking phone orders but it takes 10 seconds to say "I'll be with you in a minute" There were also people in the back that kept looking at us but never acknowledging us. Service was good and their prices are actually pretty decent! Plenty of seating on a Saturday afternoon. This restaurant is inside 99 Ranch (which is so convenient) so parking is not an issue as well. I ordered the bangus with white rice and pancit. Although I wasn't expecting the bangus to have some sort of soy sauce - bbq smoke flavor, it was actually really good! This paired with the pancit was great. My plate came with a side of egg drop soup which was okay, I'm not a fan. But it was a nice touch to my meal :). read more

I honestly wasn't aware there was a Filipino food stand in the 99 Ranch in Corona. Was craving some Filipino breakfast over the weekend and happily found this place. Ordered the longsilog, lumpia, and flan. Food took a little but to come out but I'd rather wait for something fresh than know the food was simply reheated. Everything tasted delicious. The longanisa was the sweet variety on a bed of garlic rice and two eggs. Came with some sawsawan (vinegar sauce), which I happily doused my plate in. Lumpia were also delicious. I got the 30 count, which was quickly devoured at home. Flan was ok - creamy but more on the jell-o-ey side. They give you a big portion though so this can definitely be shared. This place is inside 99 Ranch Market, it used to be Tony's Barbecue. Lots to choose from including breakfast all day (tocino, longanisa, corned beef and spam) which I would have loved to get but it was closed from 3:00 to 3:30. I guess that's when the employees take their lunch. So we ate something else, then when Bulan opened we got 10 pc lumpia and halo-halo. The lumpia was a joke, they were so thin and tiny! We were planning to order trays from here for two upcoming parties but we'll get our lumpia shanghai from somewhere else. Totally not worth $80 for 100 pcs. The halo-halo was a nice treat especially since I haven't had it in a long time. Lots of ube ice cream and flan. I didn't care for some of the stuff in there but that's what happens with halo-halo, everybody makes it different. Looking forward to coming back for their tocilog. read more

We've been to Tony's BBQ in Alhambra, Chino Hills, and West Covina. I was so excited to see a Tony's BBQ inside the 99 Ranch Market in Corona. This is location #4 for us. They were on their lunch break around 3:00 PM at the time and returned at 3:30 PM. I had to wait for them to return to place my order at the counter. Both my daughters love their pork and chicken sticks... they are so very flavorful and tasty! I prefer the chicken over the pork. My girls prefer the pork over the chicken, however, this time around, they liked the chicken better because they were more moister than the pork. I also got an order of one dozen lumpias (fried pork egg rolls) and one bibingka. They were both very good in taste. I would get them again. They also have individual meal options. I may have to try them next time. Staff was nice. Service was quick. I think prices may be a bit higher here compared to other Tony's BBQ. I don't know if they are all franchises. Anyway, when I'm in the Corona area again, I'll be sure to return here for more delicious Filipino BBQ and bibingka. Tony's BBQ is the best in town!!! read more

Have always loved their food. The only thing is that they do take some time to make the food as they are made to order so you need to account for that when you order. There are seating around the restaurant/booth food court style. It can be busy and loud over there. Their bibingka seems to have changed recently. I did go on my lunch break and it did take about 23 mins to get my food (so I had to eat fast), but if you have time, I recommend checking this place out. I ordered the salmon collar meal with a soda, but I will have to forewarn people who aren't familiar with this type of cuisine. A collar is typically the meat right behind the gills of a fish, but this was a whole salmon head. Growing up eating this kind of food, it was a pleasant surprise, but if you aren't familiar, you may have a different reaction. I would stick with the sea bass fillet or chicken, to be safe. The people were friendly and had a great attitude. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

It comes with rice, sauce for the meat, and egg drop soup. Where should I start? The amazing rice that comes with the meal, the tender, fatty, and savory meat? Hmm. I'm getting hungry thinking about it again. Lol my one year old boy loves the rice alone! So I love it! The meat came with a dipping sauce or you can mix it with the rice.. but I honestly think the meat is sooo good already without the sauce. So, the day I had my phone repair appraised at Roy's, also housed within the 99 Ranch Market, I decided to try this Filipino start-up that replaced the chicken restaurant. A young man held down the front while his mother (I think) directed the preparations in the back. The help wanted sign also had significance I felt based on the overly long wait time. A few more hands on deck would be great but the labor shortage is real if you haven't noticed lately. My beef bowl was a pretty substantial portion, so the loss of stars isn't attributable to that. So, the slow service and turnaround are about- 1.5*, the last 1/2* came from the rather bland seasoning. At least add a pinch of salt to the rice, or, conversely, more seasoning as a whole to the beef and some sauce to liven up the rice. I'd try them again though and maybe they'll regain some points? I am aware this location was fairly new so hopefully the experience will eventually catch up. I go to the supermarket fairly often so it'll be interesting to watch them develop. Indoor seating might also alleviate the long waiting sensation too. read more

I've only had one dish here which is the seabass. I've had it 3 different times and it is so delicious but you have to eat it right away. I saved some for later and it was chewy. Also the Razon halo halo is so good. It's different from the normal one and I like it alot! Next time, I will try the squid. The Java rice and Bibingtan is also good. Pretty understaffed at the moment. Nobody is ever at the front register these days. Which is ashame since I see people wanting to order but nobody is there! It's cook to order so I'd recommend calling ahead and placing your order. Been here 3 times. First time, pork bbq skewers and salmon bowl were ok both 6/10. The second time, the bangus belly was dry, and the sauce didn't help. I appreciate their java (orange) rice and side of egg drop soup but the dry bangus was 5/10. The bibingka (coconut rice cake) is the star 10/10, it always tastes fresh and has a little square of salted duck egg. They're pretty small, I can probably finish one to myself, around 4"-5" in diameter. My toddler son loves it too! So yes to bibingka! Food? I did not even finish half of the first 2 leg quarters. RICE - ewww, not fried rice. It looks and tastes like food coloring! Seriously. ACHARRA - (pickled papaya) ew! ew! Yech!!! Wattaheck! NOT REAL!!! SUMMARY: Visually-appealing but NO SUBSTANCE - NOT AUTHENTIC, might as well jump to a different kiosk. I am not willing to pay the price for something that is too distant from the real flavor of the dish. I suggest you keep the Chilean Sea Bass in the menu, but re-examine, re-work the rest. SERVICE: Well, no one's behind the counter. The KID who I believe is younger than 14 years of age, came out of the kitchen and did his best to serve waiting customers. I can see the business owner have not established a process system in this operation. I watched the mini-chaos on 5-waiting patrons. I am curious how it can handle a higher volume or can they sustain a high volume demand? OVERALL, this is a restaurant with VERY HIGH POTENTIAL. Owner just need to readjust a few things in the kitchen and behind the counter. Other than that, I wouldn't mind re-visiting and try other items in the menu. Yelp, Google, etc hours are rarely accurate. I went to your website to verify a more accurate hours of opening, and there was nothing stated that your business would be closed today. In fact, your hours still state that it will be closed at 7pm on the weekends. There was no mention of today being a special day and would be closed early. Why would I care about text messages when I'm just passing by the area and randomly found your business on Yelp and thought I'd give you guys a shot and try your food out at a whim today. I was excited to try Tony's Barbecue located inside 99 Ranch market in Corona and they did not disappoint! Adrian was the perfect host and helped me order a few favorites - the Liempo Pork Belly, Pork bbq sticks and the Chicken Inasal plates. Everything was so so tasty -- Sarap!! Grilled to order so everything was hot and fresh. The Java rice complemented the meat wonderfully. They sold out of their Bibingkinitan dessert however Adrian was able to procure one for me to try. It was delicious, slightly sweet and light unlike others I've tried. So good with coffee my other vice lol. The customer service and delicious food will bring me back again and again.
