It was our first time dining at Top Sot today, and we were pleasantly surprised with numerous things. Parking is quite simple and plentiful, as this place shares its lot with other dining options and shops. We came around 1 pm on a Tuesday afternoon, and the restaurant was bustling with business. Top Sot's tables are arranged just as it would be in Korea; tablets for ordering are placed on every table and they have a drawer under the table for utensils and napkins. We checked their menu on their tablet and they had pancakes, tofu soups, bibimbap, and more. They also had a tofu soup special and a lunch special! We ordered their brisket tofu soup special which came with side dishes, rice, and protein for an extra price. We had chosen their galbi ribs. Our friends had ordered their seafood pancake and their vegetarian tofu soup. I enjoyed their galbi ribs very much! It was soft and tender. Their side dishes were wonderful! I enjoyed their deep fried eggplant and their fish cakes. I think I wasn't a fan of their tofu soup. There was a lot of soup, but not much substance in it. We la med meat, tofu, but saw a few pieces of cucumber? We just drank spicy water it felt like. I also liked that they handed a basket of blanched vegetables to go with our meal. I think this place has great potential!! It was definitely delicious and hit the spot. I'd love to come back again.

Gave this place a try as we were wanting to explore more Korean restaurants. The tables each come with tablets for ordering but a server can also come serve you. We ordered a beef tofu soup and cheesy chicken combo along with an extra bowl of rice. The food is slightly more pricier than other places we have seen but they come with different side dishes and cabbage and perilla leaves that you can use to wrap your meat and eat. Their tofu soup also tastes different when you choose their non-seafood stock. After trying it though, I prefer the seafood stock. Aside from that, the service was also very attentive and they flame the cheesy chicken in front of you too. The chicken was all around delicious. I would come back especially if you want something different than your typical Korean tofu house.

I was in the area for a yelp event nearby and saw that this was close on my bookmarks. They have a sister branch in Buena Park. They opened recently near Pan Dumping House with a good parking lot size. I was seated quickly, they have a kiosk on each table along with a pot of hot barley tea and water bottle served quickly. I order their bbq ssam ($28.99) which is bulgogi and soondubu with banchan. I chose the seafood soondubu which has baby shrimp, mussel, and clam. Egg is $1 extra. For banchan, they had fried eggplants, sliced radish with wasabi, ssamjang, radish kimchi, stir-fried tofu, and a cilantro, onion, and tomato salad. The pork bulgogi was served on a hot cast iron plate and the rice was in a hot pot. The bulgogi was tender and not too spicy. The ssamjang has sunflower seeds and walnuts (?) in it; it's not as salty as other restaurants, goes well with the bulgogi. A little cup of sikhye (sweet rice) was served with the receipt. 10% service charge is added automatically. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

Ordered the beef rib soup and ox bone soup to go because its one of my favorite comfort soups. It tastes very similar to Da Rae (the restaurant that was here before) good clean and authentic flavor. I will say that I feel a little cheated with the portion of meat in it. I remember getting close to 10 thin strips of brisket before and now it is more like 5 or 6 strips. We got more ribs previously as well but noticed a smaller portion as well. The banchan was really good but I wish I asked for extra because it was a pretty small portion for 2 entrees. Customer service was great, they were friendly and extremely fast. The restaurant got a face lift and there are now booths and modern lighting, calming music and baseball was on the tv. I will be back to try out the ssam bap because it seems like that is the specialty. I also noticed they have octopus and crab, yum!

Tried this new Korean spot and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Tofu Soup all day special and the chicken and cheese combination meal. The cheese on top of the chicken was torched right at the table! Both were flavorful! The banchan was also great and we were offered refills of any of the ones we wanted throughout the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the meal even better. Not pictured was a sweet rice dessert drink we hadn't tried before, and it was a pleasant surprise to end the meal. Overall, great food and a great experience we'll definitely be back!

The staff at this restaurant are absolutely lovely. I was feeling unwell, so my friend stopped by to pick up some tofu soup for me; when they heard I was sick, they prepared a truly delicious bowl of soup just for me. Thank you for everything!

The fried eggplant was definitely my favorite of the pan chan. Love that the rice had a lid. It stayed warm. The service was friendly.

I have eaten here a few times, it's my favorite Korean restaurant. The foods are always delicious and customer service is very friendly.

Try this bite: take some cabbage, add bean paste, tomato, cilantro and onion mix, bulgogi and cucumber

Every time I go to a Korean restaurant, I usually order the bulgogi and soondubu combination. When the food came out, I immediately knew it would taste different from other Korean restaurants I've been to because some of the banchan didn't look familiar, and they even served a vegetable medley, which was new to me. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! One of the banchan was a tomato, onion, and cilantro mix that I think had yuzu, which really brightened each bite I made with cabbage, bulgogi, bean paste, and cucumbers. It was so fresh and delicious! I loved it!

Always happy to find a new local Korean restaurant to support. We ordered the katsu plate, seafood pancake, and cold noodles. The banchan tasted really fresh. Food came out fast and was tasty. We did stop in around 3ish so will have to see how the service and food is during busier times. Overall, an enjoyable meal and experience for our first time. Looking forward to trying other menu items!

If only this place wasn't so far from me…read more.. I came here recently to check out this place seeing that it had a ton of great reviews. I met up with a coworker, and we both got their combo platters. I went with the three item with marbled brisket, cheddar, jalapeño sausage, and baby back ribs for my sides. I got their french fries and coleslaw. Each platter also comes with a slice of cornbread. I'll say that the barbecue here was excellent. brisket was nice and soft and just the right amount of inter-muscular fat in each bite. The sausage was good, but what I was most surprised about was the baby back ribs those ribs were actually really good. I've been to a lot of places where the ribs are a tad bit dry but these ones were nice and soft with a nice smoky flavor it was actually one of the better baby back ribs I've had! Apparently, there are a lot of people who know about this place so if you want to die in here during lunchtime, consider coming a little bit earlier because there's definitely a lunch rush. I came here at 11:30 and it wasn't that four but as soon as noon hit the place was packed! Everyone was really nice. The person at the cashier explained the menu because we mention it was my first time there. This is definitely place you want to check out if you're in the area and if you like some good barbecue!

I absolutely LOVE the pastrami Reuben here. But it's only served on Wednesday... And you know how that goes, maybe they have it that Wednesday maybe they don't Today I walked in, after coming in last Wednesday... for them to be closed for a week after the 4th of July, to find out that they didn't get the pastrami to do it Seriously... what good is a specialty daily menu if you don't deliver on those days. This is three weeks in a row you didn't even bother offering the pastrami The absolutely MOST frustrating part about this place

We returned as promised and darn, Cory wasn't here! I brought fresh baked chocolate chip cookies…read morefor him too. Anyway, we got their chocolate stout/porter tonight and brought our own snacks. There was a girl behind the counter, not much to say except that the entire time we sat here talking and enjoying multiple beers there were dirty cups sitting in the table next to use and no one ever came to clean the table up. I enjoyed the jukebox and one other person played some songs too so we switched back and forth. The back gate was open and it was a cooler night so we never took our jackets off. Last time we stopped by we found another brewery nearby and they had a beer that we loved. (Barely wine 13.5% and $17 growler) so we're going there next. Oh our beers here were almost $10 each, and came with a lot of foam so it ended up being 3/4 of a glass of beer, but they tasted good.

She asked me questions and tried sips of her recommendations. I found out I love the pomegranate one. It was on the sweeter side which I loved. They had a bbq truck out back for the food option. I'm not sure if they have it every night or just on show nights. It's a cool kick back spot.
