Came here after an appointment nearby and it was around 11 am and the food for the lunch bunch looked fresh, hot and appetizing! It's turo-turo style (where you point to what you want like Panda Express) I ended up getting the topsilog and a 2 item combo plate with bistek, panict & white rice to share with my hubby. It was so good, we basically ate everything and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Inside there's tables and chairs to enjoy your food and snacks to purchase for kids and adults. There are also some dessert options but not many. They do look premade. It seems clean and the staff was friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Now called Mimmie's Kamayan. I stopped by for lunch and chose the fried fish (bangus) and pancit (extra $3.50). You can ask for vinegar for dipping the fish. Fresh and flavorful, delicious. Staff was friendly and the place is clean, with pop music playing medium loud inside. Lots of indoor seating which can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably in two of the booth tables. I'll be back to try the adobo and fried rice.

I was craving Dinuguan and this definitely hit the spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

I've gone here for years now when I have Filipino food cravings. The bigger Filipino food selections and products are all in the West Covina area but Seafood Ranch is a hidden gem located in Chino Hills. The location had a large remodel last year and now they have the ability to host events as well along with eating inside at clean tables if desired. The food choices are usually good (I love the palabok and pancit)! As for prices, that's the only thing keeping me from a five star but I still feel it's overall a good value.

Big shoutout to Cara & Sabrina and their consistent, outstanding customer service! Unfortunately, this review would be 2/5 if every time I went it and saw the guy behind bar (I think he's the owner?). The espresso shots are bad EVERY time and I know it as soon as I walk in. It makes me feel my money isn't worth the poor quality beverage. I'll keep coming back, but they need to be dialing in those shots.

I ordered a matcha latte with agave, which sounds pretty simple to me. But the latte was DISGUSTING. Nothing like matcha at all. Also found it interesting how they stuck a table in the middle of the (former) children's play area. Not sure who's going to walk through the playhouse to sit there. Tables and chairs were kinda just everywhere. There's a lot more board games now available, which is nice, and they were displaying some art on the counters. But I just feel like it's not a spot conducive for working or studying anymore, which I think is the main reason why people stay at cafes. Just felt kinda awkward and a bit messy. The furniture is wearing down too. I see they're hopping on the matcha trend and offering different flavors of matcha, but if that's the case, a better matcha powder is quintessential. I couldn't even take more than one sip of my matcha though. I haven't retried the food, but hoping they've kept up with that. This used to be a really solid spot, but with all the new competition popping up, I think it's time for a revamp for this penguin.

If you're looking for that rich deep orange yolk, you'll likely find it here. I find that their eggs do not always have that deep orange yolk, but it often does! I finally tried their Ugleez ($12.50/30 eggs) and besides being "ugly" and much lighter in color on the outside, they were delicious and had the perfect orange yolk! See my photos for comparison with their Jumbo ($12/20 eggs). It's a steal to get the Ugleez if you aren't looking for a massively huge egg and still want that farm fresh quality!

The chickens are fed a vegetarian diet with no hormones and no steroids and have plenty of space to roam. I arrived on a Saturday morning 5 minutes to opening and there was a line of 10 cars at the entrance. Ordering is done via drive thru style and they were handling 3 vehicles at a time. Eggs are sold as large, ex-large, or jumbo variety. I went with extra large and got 30 eggs for $16. There is a fee for credit card usage. The egg yolk is dark orange and overall the eggs taste great. Even though these were extra large I felt they were the same size as the large ones I get from Trader Joe's. And the Trader Joe's ones work out to be $17.50 for 30 eggs and they are organic and pasture raised. Overall, I do think the Trader Joe's eggs maybe a better deal and both are similar in taste.

A lot has changed, and for the better! I went on a busy Tuesday morning when parking was scarce. Nonetheless, it was no surprise that both their indoor and outdoor areas were busy! One has to order inside with the cashier, and the food will be brought out by a server to wherever one sits. Although it was busy, the line to order moved quickly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I'd suggest looking at the menu before visiting so you don't overwhelm yourself, as they have a variety of breakfast and lunch options. I got the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs. The portion of the French toast was extremely generous and memorable. I have never had so much French toast before, and it satisfied my hunger for the majority of the day (as I write this in the evening)! The homemade syrup is rich in flavor and delicious. The staff was observant and caring, which made the overall experience and ambience positive and pleasant!
