Inside this market happens to have an authentic Filipino hot food. I had the Pork Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew) and Laing. Let me tell that these two dishes are authentic and the prices are just right for the serving size. Don't go to Nanay Gloria for two choice $19.99 is way too much and the Filipino food doesn't taste as good as the Super Seafood Market. Small Asian market. They were out of a few items I needed. Store is a bit disorganized, one aisle was just full of products to be returned which I found odd. The butcher spoke perfect English which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken breasts I got were huge, and fresh tasting. The lady at the register was very nice, she gave me half off on my giant head of cabbage since the price came to over $5. It's easy to get to if you're near the Tyler Mall. read more

This location has a lot of options. My first time here I walked each isle. Some of the things I never heard of or I have only seen at restaurants but I didn't know which one to buy as they had different brands of the same exact item but it was an exciting experience. Had fun shopping in the market but what really impressed me was the little fast food restaurant inside. The sign outside says, "Chinese Fast Food" but it was all Filipino food when I went to buy dinner, which was totally unexpected. There were several customers there waiting for their orders. They also have boba drinks. The most amazing thing to me was the prices seemed to be so cheap for a large serving that gave plenty of leftovers. It's as if they haven't updated their prices in 20 years. I would definitely recommend getting food here if you want something that tastes homecooked and costs only a few bucks for a lot of food. I will add that the (hopefully) fresh seafood counter stretches almost the width of the market, so that's good if you are a fish seeker. And time permitting, they fry your bounty, time just not after 7:45 PM (according to the sign). I like the place, the Phillipino food selection is unmatched. The prices however, are touch and go. Some items do not have the price and it is concerning. I went to cash out my items, for example the rabbit I bought and I know I saw a price on it when I took it from the freezer but they went to look at the price anyway And then said it is sold by weight. I was puzzled but to cause no waves I took it. I said I would review the receipt when I got home and I was a little update because they have the "I don't report all my earnings receipt" so there is no way to know for sure. Have you ever been in a Filipino Market that is organized and spacious? Well, neither have I. And just a word of warning. I noticed the sign outside, in front, does not say "Lucky" Seafood. Sadly, my brain slipped out of gear from disuse, and I don't remember the exact wording anymore. But if it has... Seafood.... in the name, you are at the right place. This little family-run business is tiny and cramped. The shelves have little logic as to organization. But the good news is....since it is so small, you only have to walk up and down a few aisles, and you will eventually find what you want. Maybe. I had called ahead to see if they carried Japanese mayonnaise, and whoever answered said yes. What they didn't say was, "Just not right now". After cruising the aisles 3x and not finding it, I asked the cashier, and she said, " Oh, we're out!". Sigh. Well, enough of that bashing. I have been married to a Filipino for 40 years, I should have known to ask if it was in stock. Regardless, we have patronized this market for years. It saves us from having to endure the insanity that is the Asian scene of Orange County. We can get our pork and chicken tocino here, unnaturally red Pampanga sausage, several brands of ready made lumpia and/or wrappers, and sundry imported condiments and canned goods. And oh, don't forget the tons of imported chicharones in every flavor (my secret vice). Yes, there is fresh produce (but don't try to get cauliflower here), Filipino bakery goods, fresh meat and seafood, and of course, the prepared hot food deli. Decent seafood market. I've been looking for a place that sells raw seafood and found this one. They have everything I couldn't find anywhere else which is a relief. Lots of frozen mussels, baby scallops, and air tight seafood combination packs. A lot of different types of fresh fishes including tilapia, mackerels, bonita, halibut, yellow tail, saba and many many more. The staff that handles the fish gives you a choice of frying any fish so we picked out a tilapia to fry. They give you a number and call it out when its ready. (note: They do not season the fish) They also have crabs, octopus, oysters and different types of cuts of meats you normally can't get at the grocery store. Great selection overall. The fish we bought came out to $4 after tax. But they tried to charge me 5 cents for a plastic fork. No I didn't pay for it, I just went next door and got a free fork lol. I am SO happy I found this place. I am over towards Lake Elsinore where no Filipino or Asian stores are located...at least not to my knowledge. I have had to drive to 99 Ranch Market in Chino, Irvine, or Anaheim to get my bulk of groceries. Due to the fact that those locations are so far away, we always had to time it with visits to see family or friends. Otherwise we would just run over to the neighborhood chains down the street. This place has meats over in the back, a lot of all the produce I use, freezers full of other foods we love! They can fry your food for you too! =0) mmmmm fried fooooood. Oh, they also have a place where you can sit and eat or pick up food to go over to the left when you enter. Now that I have found this little gem of a grocery store, I am going to be a frequent flyer. So go a few doors down and have some Pupusa's and then shop til you drop. I literally just went to buy some shrimp and squid and I asked for it to be mildly cooked and I got super fried shrimp that you can't peel very upset I spent 40 dollars just for it to go in the trash! Very disappointed would not recommend having them cook it! I also called to complain and they did nothing about it they told me to go back and show them and I explained I didn't live down the street and they honestly didn't care. This is the most complete Fililpino/Asian market in the greater Riverside area. The meat/seafood counter is top-notch and there are always several butchers ready to take your order. The butchers will also fry your fish for you for a nominal charge so that you won't have that fried fish order lingering in your home for days on end. There is a mini buffet that offers a split of chinese and filipino dishes. 2 item combos without a drink is less than $5. Called ahead of time to see if they had jackfruit. They said they did. I make the Drive over search all throughout the vegetable /produce section, I see no jackfruit. Ask the cashier and she points down an aisle I walk down the aisle and then I see canned jackfruit! If you Call and ask for anything be specific. I don't want canned jackfruit! The address on this Yelp page is incorrect. It's on La Sierra Ave and not Sierra St, you should consider fixing this so you don't send people to a residential area and confuse them. Place was perfect for my needs. As soon as you walk in it reeks of fish but your nose gets used to it after a few minutes and it doesn't seem as stinky. It was a medium sized market with a large selection of any asian products you may want (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Fhilipino) with a decently sized produce section and meat/fish market. The prices are very CHEAP, I had a basket full of things and almost everything was $1 or less with the most pricy item costing $3. This was by far one of the worst seafood markets ever! I gave this 2 stars because you can find plenty of options throughout the store. However in the seafood department in the back the staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all. They give attitude to anyone if it's not within themselves! They were extremely rude and unprofessional! I think this might be the best Asian market in the Riverside area. I love their selection of seasonings. It's perfect for my everyday Asian cooking needs. Produce is really inexpensive, but the selection is a little small. I have yet to take advantage, but they will fry your fish for you in the back. I'm pretty sure they think I'm a stalker or something because I've spent a lot of time just walking up and down the aisles.
