Have been here before for games, beer and a couple of times had wings. Those were not too bad. But today I decided to try their "Famous Julie's Green Chile Burrito", and decided, why not, let's have it "smothered". It was a disappointment. You would think that when you pay $12 for a burrito you will be eating delicious green Chile beef, especially if it's "famous". Well, more like infamous. First of all, there were exactly 4 little pieces of meat in the whole burrito of a very soft, undercooked tortilla. In between those few pieces of meat I found 2 huge tendons; nasty to feel that in your mouth unexpectedly. The "sauce" under the yellow melted cheese they used to "smother" the burrito was something chunky that looked like something my cat would barf. Only way to describe it. Sad part is, I was hungry and the taste wasn't horrible, so I ate without looking at my food anymore. Couldn't finish the plate, given the sogginess of the uncooked tortilla. Lesson learned: DO NOT waste money in their "infamous" burrito. Stick to drinks and chips. read more

The pool tables here are not in the best shape. They have dart boards and lots of bar games ping pong also. Very great feel to it. Music is great nice 70's 80's rock. My kind of music. The best part of bullshooters , I have to say is the ladies signature burro burrito that she cooks. With hatch green chili and roast inside of a flour tortilla smothered in green sauce. OMG closes that I've ever came to my mammas home cooking. She honestly cooks it with her heart and puts a lot of effort into that burrito. All around d this is a very great place in my opinion to By at hang out and shoot some pool. I am not a drinker so I couldn't tell you the prices on there alcohol or how good the bartender is at making them. Just make sure you get to choose your own pool table for as some of them are pretty run down and take your own pool stick also. But that is to be expected at pool halls. But try the burrito that's is the exact reason why I keep going back. read more

This place is huge! Tons of pool tables and great drinks. The downside is not enough waitresses on a Friday night. The bartender was fast though. The pizza was awful! It tasted like they used spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce. read more

I love this place the most because of the free poker. Waitresses are not always good at servicing the poker tables tho and are rude at times when you ask for a water. Trying to play pool on the quarter tables is almost impossible at times because of all the pool tournaments. Great food tho. read more

Always a good time at Bull Shooters. The place is getting a bit run down though. Some of the pool cues need to be replaced and some of the tables need to be resurfaced. You can still find good tables though, they have a bunch of them. read more

The absolute worst bar I have ever been to. I came here for the first time with 9 of my friends. The crowd was rough so I brought my friend with me to the bathroom. When me and my friend were using the restroom a lady came in and demanded we come out. Confusingly we come out, and someone accused us of doing coke in the bathroom and kicks us out of the place. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said the reason we were kicked out because we walked to the bathroom together to be safe (me and my girlfriwnd) went into the restroom and both has on metal belts. We heard a women demanding we come out and we rush out saying what's wrong ? They accused us of doing coke purely for the reasons of going to the bathroom more than once and wearing belts. When trying to talk with the managers they were extremely uncooperative and unwilling to listen to customers. Beware of this place it's very scary and Extremely unprofessional and threatening. I would feel unsafe here if I was a woman considering they kick out women that go to the restroom together. read more

This place can really be a hit or miss and lately it has definitely been more of a miss for me lately. It is cool that it is a large place, and that they do have a lot of activities to par-take in like darts, pool, karaoke, punching bag arcade game, etc. They do have an outdoor/indoor smoking area that can sometimes make the entire venue turn smokey, which is a bit irritating. Ordering drinks can be a drawn out process and the servers/bartenders tend to have a huge attitude problem, but they do have a lot of specials and I like their shot board as well! You spin the wheel for 4 dollars and then whatever you land on you drink, which can be scary with some of the options on there, but equally hilarious. Some people apparently like the food here? We've ordered the pizza which compared mostly to the 7-11 instant pizza. Their fries were also overcooked and burnt. Yuck. This isnt my first choice place, but if a large group of us is going out I'll suck it up and still have a good time. read more

My husband and I just recently started going here to play pool and we love it. It's a little run down but it's a pool hall and a bar so I don't expect it to be extravagant. The service isn't super great from waitresses either but I don't mind going up to the bar to get what I need. Pool rates for happy hour are great. We have alot of fun here. read more

We came here for a small B-day party for myself, and I like the place. None of us shot pool, but we had plenty to drink, and had a good time playing 80's music on the jukebox. Lots of room between pool tables for the plus size to move around. I had a great time w/my family and friends, and would return again. read more

Music is entiely too loud to hold a conversation, and it is not a safe place to be. People were fighting right outside the doors of the place and I was afraid they were going to pull a gun out. My purse got stolen right in front of me, and one of the bartenders said, "it happens". If you're looking for night in the ghetto, with callous customer service, and possibly being violated, then by all means give them your business. read more

I've come here to play poker for about a month and a half now.... First visit was good.. Service was nice as far as the bartenders and servers were nice but i had to go to the bar to pick up my food myself, so i was doing the servers job.... Still left with a mostly positive attitude towards the place. Everytime after that, however, the servers were rude.. Like i was an inconveniece to them. The poker game was run organized but the people who ran it seemed to pay favoritism to the "regulars". The players (most, not all) are rude, sloppy and try to run the game themselves, without regards to any common poker rules (see above about favoritism). Overall, I've played over half dozen games here and i will not be coming back.. At least to play poker. There are lots of pool tables though which is nice.. If I'm looking for a pool hall in the area i might consider coming back, but for no other reason..... Oh the food was pretty decent, no complaints on food. Just servers and poker tables. read more

This place is family owned and operated which is a good thing. It is a big place that has it all, big screens all around, UFC and sports, good food, strong drinks and good looking waitresses. The crowd in the place is very diverse and having been there on a few UFC nights it gets packed and noisy but its to be expected. The place is for pool players for sure with a Diamond house table, a couple Diamond bar tables, 8 and 9 foot Brunswicks, and Valley bar tables. Whatever game your looking for you will get it there as there are some good players who play there. Darts is also very popular there with leagues and tournaments going on. So whether you darts, pool or shuffleboard then this is a good spot for you. read more

This place is dirty. Plain and simple. Most of the pool tables are trashed and it reeks of smoke. It's sad that one of the last pool halls in phx is so under kept. The food is also terrible. Great place to play pool; you pay by the hour. The best time to go is during the week because it will be less crowded. There is also an area to play darts and karaoke. Also, great music to listen to that is not too loud to hear your friends talking. read more

My husband got the burrito and was asked if he wanted it smothered and he said yes and come to find out afterwards that was extra and it was the same stuff that was in side the burrito. We ended up here because Tim Finnegans was closed so we decided to check our Bull Shooters. The cool thing is they have pool tables so we paid for an hourly table. As soon as we sat down the waitress asked if we needed anything and we said not currently. Well I guess we pissed her off because after that she completely ignored our table. She would look at us sitting there with no drinks and just walk off. She even watched me walk to the bar with the empties and order more. So we felt like we were wasting money at the pool table so we turned in our stuff and just sat at the bar. The bartenders are awesome and quick to serve! Ahha Bull shooters pool hall. With their 20 or so pool tables, wide variety of card games and a flat screen every ten feet surrounding the bar and entire area it's hard not to find something to enjoy. Drink prices are evenly priced with your domestics running bout 2.25 ta 3 bucks, and typical shot goin for 6. I've personaly enjoy the bartenders quick humor and ability to work the bar quickly. Thursday nights are usually pretty hoping. No bandanas or "colors" are allowed. Plus they have an indoor smoking area, so you can enjoy your smoke and beverage. read more

This is my favorite place to go have a drink and in my opinion the best pool and dart bar out there. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is clean, fun, and drink specials are great! There is so much to do here: free poker, karaoke, pool, darts, shuffleboard, ping-pong, basketball hoop, plus they do a lot to help the community! The food is great too! They always host the UFC fights and have a large "indoor" smoking patio. I love this place! read more

I like this place, I don't shoot pool as a social exercise, I shoot pool because it has some sort of Zen effect for me and frustrates me at the same time (thanks to my parents beating me regularly as a child instilling a perfectionist complex) I was shocked at how busy this place can get on a weekday evening. The pool rates are fantastic I think it was like $2 / hr during the day, shiiiii I can afford that. The 9ft ers that I have played on are in good shape with plenty of space between them. I have no complaints about this place, if it was closer to my house I would go more often. read more

I give this pool hall five stars because it's everything one would want in a pool hall. Good range of music, cool atmosphere, nice cues and great tables! What more could you want? Oh and the drinks are good as well. Approaching the place, it may seem a little sketchy to the Scottsdale resident or whatever (being from Detroit I'm not too phased by rough appearances) but inside, it feels like a place you can hang for hours. I like to come here to just get away, the owners are awesome people who seem to truly care about other people, and the staff is great, the best part is they are REAL, they have personalities and they are fun....and they have Dr. Pepper!!! Watched UFC 202 here, Diaz Vs McGregor. Was a $5 cover. Lots of seats and tables had reserved signs so it was difficult to find a place to sit, many people who reserved never showed up, was a very uncoordinated and inefficient way to seat their guests/customers. We finally created a place to sit by way of an unoccupied pool table with a cover on top. Our female server was not in control, it seemed to take way too long to order and get our food and drinks. Fiancé and I went here to play pool and have some drinks. Overall the whole place was a awesome time. I loved the outdoor patio vibe as we are smokers. The pool was a good price an hour. The only bad thing I'd say is that I ordered a few Captain Morgan's and Cokes 4 to be exact and I knew that the bartenders had given me poorly made drinks that indeed did not taste like Captain Morgan it tasted like cheap well rum. This place is so huge! You have to watch the days you go during the week because they have a lot of pool and dart tournaments and it's hard to just casually play with friends. Most of the tables you pay by the hour instead of putting in quarters, which I do not like. The food is basically bar food- nothing special. I will admit I look very young for being 25 years old, but even after getting carded 4 times, I still get the stink eye from all the staff the entire time I am there.
