Brooks returned my calls right away, followed through with everything in a VERY timely manner and the project was swift, professionally done, and our house was spotless upon completion. Even after the job was completed, I procrastinated getting the forms to submit to my insurance company. Just want to give a shout out to the good folks at Bulldog Roofing. I wanted to put a metal roof on my garage to protect against "ember fires" and Brian came out to discuss. Well, long story short, he convinced me that the existing shingles - in spite of a little hail damage - were rated as high as metal in terms of fire resistance, and talked me out of it! This is a rare thing these days. I was ready to spend this money and the guy wouldn't take it. So he lost a sale - but he gained a customer. We'll deal with that hail damage sometime down the road. I called Bulldog Roofing for a free roof inspection because I had been hearing a dripping sound. After inspecting my roof, Tyler and Josh said it was in very good condition. There was some lint build up on the dryer vent cap. It was my decision to have the vent cap replaced to prevent any future potential problems. Josh installed the new vent cap. Simply put, Bulldog Roofing was incredible to work with! From the first day I requested a quote, I had Greg (one of their Project Managers) reach out to me to see if he could help out. I was pretty busy during the time and frankly was slow to respond, but Greg did a great job in being understanding and following up as needed, without being pushy. From the first time meeting Greg, he was very personable and just wanted to help. I expected a pushy sales guy (which I hate), but he wasn't at all pushy and got my business through being super transparent with all of the questions I had, including the difficult ones. They were clearly very customer-focused and I expected to pay a premium for their services, so I was surprised when their quote came in at a very competitive price to the other two quotes. I was in a unique situation where I was paying out of pocket, so Greg ran me through all the options and was pretty flexible with how the payment got handled. I was pretty surprised at the lack of a contract and that they essentially just do work based on good faith in their customers. I still had some hesitations and drafted up a short document to layout the basic ground rules. They had no concerns, stood by their word, and got it signed the same day. Fast forward to install time (~2 weeks later, just like Greg said). The material showed up on a Friday, all quiet on the weekend, and then they completed all of the work on Monday. Everything got completed super quick and got buyoff proper buyoff from the city. The only hold-up was on me because I took the permit down not realizing it had to stay on the door (keep it on the door!). I was worried about a lot of things, and frankly probably drove Greg a little crazy (even though he didn't show it), but in the end everything went absolutely smoothly. Best choice I ever made. After waiting 3 months for another Longmont roofing company to contact my insurance company and begin working on my roof I was approached by Ryan. He was upfront and honest and did exactly what he said he would. Within 2 weeks had had worked out everything with state farm and installed my new roof. Not only was he honest with me but with state farm as well. He did the work for exactly what he quoted and didnt try to get a penny extra. After talking with several roofers we decided on Bulldog. My home owners insurance company agreed with their cost estimate. They contracted with my original solar contractor for the removal and reinstallation of our solar panels during roof construction. This included temporary storage containers for safe keeping of the panels. They prepared a detailed scheduled and followed it. They kept me informed through personal visits, text messages and phone calls as to the progress and any issues I needed to hear about. They worked well with the various inspectors with all inspections passing without any rework. They kept the job site clean and hauled off old roofing material often. They provided all the information needed by my home owners insurance carrier and mortgage company, which was no easy task. I believe the roof they provided was of better quality than the original construction. Overall they were a pleasure to work with and I would certainly use them again. read more
