He asked what I wanted, as I'm holding targets and my gun bag. I asked if a lane is available. He checks my gun and ammo and has he puts it back he doesn't put my gun back in to the sleeve instead he points it at me as he's putting it back into my bag. I zeroed my gun and then started to do a controlled pairs. I get a tap on my shoulder from a young kid and was told 1 shot per second. Mind you there's people doing double taps. I said I thought you can do controlled pairs. He said in those lanes you can, which were a few down from me. At this point I literally felt they were bias towards me and it takes A LOT for me to say that considering my occupation. You think he would have offered me to move to those lanes, but he doesn't and he continues to stare at me as if he's scolding me in front of other people. I truly don't get the whole attitude at indoor ranges. I will NEVER return to this range and will not recommend it to any of my co-workers or friends. You will not feel welcomed here if you're not a white guy or Asian shooting at this range. After 15 mins I just left. Response to owners statement: I wasn't looking for your validation. Mentioning your rank in your past career is irrelevant in this situation. Just stated my experience at your place of business. You should know officers don't raise a stink or complain at a place they're not welcomed or treated differently. They just leave and don't return. I attended their intro to handguns class, covering the basics of safety and proper form, and getting in some introductory shooting experience. John, our instructor, was very engaging and great at commanding attention when needed and building up the class's confidence. Afterward, I took them up on their 'newbie' offer of free range time and rental after class. Kevin signed me up for a lane, let me rent a couple of handgun models I researched previously, and critiqued my targets, giving some general feedback and advice. He also pointed me toward a couple other models that are known to be more friendly to left-handed shooters that I can test out in the future. Great place; a little on the older and smaller sides, but staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. I get the feeling that as I 'shop around' for my go-to range there's a strong chance I will gravitate back here, since these guys are passionate about what they do, and seem to want to inspire that passion in others. As expected for a weekend, there was a wait, but since we were off for the day, we didn't mind hanging out on the folding chairs in the retail section for 30 minutes. The staff is awesome--super friendly and easy to talk to--and the check-in was painless. While waiting, I noticed their optics prices are actually lower than most other shops in OC. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to pick up another Holosun. The only real downside is their range rule: you have to reload your magazines at the shooting stall, not the back table. Because the space is tight, I couldn't reload while my friend was shooting. We ended up spending half our time just loading mags, which really cut into our actual trigger time. It's a solid spot and less expensive than other local ranges, so I'd come back alone, but I'll probably skip the "buddy trips" here since the reload rule makes it hard for two people to get their money's worth.

I only shoot pistols here, rifle and shotgun ammo must be bought from them (no thanks.). 25 yard range, ventilation is pretty good but FT3 in Stanton is definitely better. In the firing line the marks for distances are numbers on the wall for yardages with lines painted across the floor for reference. I typically pay $25-28 for a lane and 2-3 paper targets, if you want to bring your own it must be approved by them. Only thing that might be a turn off is the fact that it isn't the prettiest range, and the furnishings are pretty lackluster. I've never seen a chair on the firing line and there are wood benches about 10 feet behind the line. But for the value, solid target selection and good options for rentals (Glocks, M&P's, 1911's, revolvers, many more) you can't really beat it as a regular without spending significantly more for a club membership or range fees elsewhere.

That was not the case as i have mentioned before i frequent the range and after my ccw course with Ernie, Josh, Tyron(sorry if i misspelled that), and Dustin i walked out with not just knowledge on law but technique when it comes to drawing, concealing, proper holster fitment, stance, and some drills to practice. If you are pursuing your ccw you will pay about the same amount of money to get a "PASS" type class behind a screen why not get your moneys worth and actually learn something. Turned around a minute later and it was already down about 3 to 4 psi look back a minute or two it was down at least 10 to 15 psi, also it was also missing barrel nut, the worst quality I ever dealt with even when I call customer service had no idea, about air rifle be careful buying from top gun I end up send gun to Utah Airguns to have it repair and had to pay out of my own pocket for shipping, the owner supposedly call me back , never heard from him . $ 2000.00 Air rife no checklist.
